    Dude, I loved the original, specially modding it with a map maker tool and retexturing it
    But I'm not gonna buy the reforged because I don't wanna make mods with the new Politics, Blizzard has ALL the rights of your maps and mods, they ain't gonna give you credit but tell everyone is made by them, and sell it as DLC, without giving you any kind of monetary compensation

    They are gonna edit the map without your permission and basically if you tell it on the forums, you are gonna get permanently banned and sued, telling the creator to delete every single kind of social media he has.
    They are gonna ban any kind of support for the original creator, like Patrons and Kofee, not gonna let the creator EVEN WORK FOR THEM, EVEN IF THEY ARE TAKING THEIR MODS WITHOUT PERMISSION.
    I know they ain't gonna let us do mods with copyrighted content, like the old DBZ mods or Pokewar, but they haven't used to be a problem, because they never made it to Workshop but ModDB or Nexus or other pages
    I also have seen fake spam accounts from Blizzard employees throwing **** and hate messages to old community-knowledged modders, the real famous ones
    One of them had to delete any kind of social media AND EVEN HIS BUSSINESS MAIL, but at least, he has been seen very active in a game with a lot of modding content and even official support for modders, giving them a sort of monetary compensation, I think the game is called Ravenfield

    TL:DR - Blizzard is gonna take your work away without any kind of permission and **** with your modder life

    Edit: Also they ain't gonna let you update the mod, let's say that WC3R has been updated and the mod is not compatible with the new version, they ain't gonna let you update it, instead, they are. Gonna. LITERALLY. DELETE. THAT. MOD. Is gone!

    Warcraft 3 refunded another misstake after Diablo immortal and not event an off season april fool joke.

    This game is a joke. Not only did they not deliver what they promised all the time, I cannot even go back to playing the original Warcraft III. I'm done with Blizzard. I should've been earlier, when they showed their real face in the lights of the Blitzchung disqualification, but now I'm sick of it enough.

    Reforged saved my life. It taught me everything. I was depressed, drank too much, didn't have a job, in and out of rehab, my wife left me and even took our dog fred . I thought i hit rock bottom. I didn't think anything could be worse. Then I played Reforged.

    I realized what rock bottom truly looked like, and man, it just scared me... Was this really the route I was going to go in my    Reforged saved my life. It taught me everything. I was depressed, drank too much, didn't have a job, in and out of rehab, my wife left me and even took our dog fred . I thought i hit rock bottom. I didn't think anything could be worse. Then I played Reforged.

    I realized what rock bottom truly looked like, and man, it just scared me... Was this really the route I was going to go in my life. I sat back, thought, and then I decided. I decided right then and there, that no, this was NOT going to be my life.

    Since the release, I've gone back to college, I have a great job, my wife and Fred is back home, I'm not drinking, life is just great. It's all thanks to Reforged for steering me back on the right path. For that, I'll never be able to thank you enough. All I can do for now is give you a zero, because if you weren't a zero, you never would have been my hero

    I really don't understand how they made a remaster with less things than the 17 year old game their remastering.
    Side note they patched the 17 year old game to be as **** as this "remaster".

    I was so excited to get this game after growing up playing Frozen Throne and BOY have I been let down. I don't know if this release is worse than Diablo III and the 18 hour sever downtime, but both games on release are terrible.

    I almost wonder if Activision forced blizzard to publish this before it was ready. It really is a shame. At the rate Activision/Blizzard is going we could see the end of an iconic company in the next few years.

    Buggy, worse than original, lied to in advertising, and just a massive, massive slap in the face to consumers.

    I got banned for refund also. I can’t post my true feelings because metacritic will not allow it, in blizzards pocket. I’d rather get the coronavirus then play another blizzard game again.

The auction house system of Diablo 3, the banning of players for expressing themselves politically, banning people for helping players get refunds, all the shady things they've done in the past year... Hiding cutscenes from BFA on youTube because they're ashamed of the final product.

    Is it just me or did anyone else notice the bad voice acting? When you rescued the child on one of the starting campaign missions the girl sounds like an adult trying to sound like a little girl. I honestly laughed and shook my head.     I played this game when it first came out. The reforged version sounded like a great idea. In practice it is horrible and leaves out much of what it said it would have. Honestly could not be more disappointed in how this turned out.

    It's even worse because although I didn't pre-order the game, Blizzard has still removed my ability to legitimately play the original game which I paid for by removing access to the original Warcraft 3 from the launcher. This is an unprecedented failure in gaming history and even if issues are resolved (including accessibility to classic Warcraft 3) it should not have taken a backlash such as this to make Blizzard attentive of the issues.

    Warcraft 3 is a beloved classic in gaming culture, and was the reason for World of Warcraft having the success it did.     Misleading advertisment, i played the classic version and bought warcraft 3 reforged a few days ago. Reforged is missing a lot of the advertised and classic features, not sure how it is possible to have less game mechanics than the classic game. Also people who own the classic game are now forced to use the reforged version.

    A total trash, I bought a Frozen Throne to play that, I never asked to be "updated" to some half baked "Reforged" that has worse UI and removes features, like cheat codes don't work anymore in local multiplayer with AI. So all I'm interested in is how to uninstall this trash and get back Frozen Throne what I paid for.

    It's unbelievable how far Blizzard has fallen. They are not the same company that made amazing games. The old Warcraft 3 client is gone for online play, you now have to start the game through Reforged. If you don't own Reforged, you're still forced to download it (including all assets) but are only able to play with old graphics. It's a complete mess. Very disappointing.

    Outside of the few cases where people are blatantly getting things wrong about the game, this remake was a complete disaster. Now most of this would be somewhat excusable if they didn't mess with the original version of the game as well, so classic players are punished for how Activision and the big wigs at the top of blizzard treated the fans loyalty to a beloved classic. I'm not putting anywhere near the blame on the developers. The Higher ups in every company along with the publishers who force these slaved developers to squeeze these games out in their perfect number crunching deadlines is exactly the reason we get games like Warcraft 3 Reforged and Fallout 76. It's disgusting. The only positive I can take away from this is that hopefully with such a jarring response from the fans that something will be done about this issue. It's criminal what's being done to the gaming industry, in a time especially where it could be seen as somewhat of a golden age. We have indie game developers taking the stands and punching out classics that will be played for years, we have a new age of game players making memories for themselves and at the very top of it all we have big wig number crunching pen pushers who think they can take advantage of and abuse the video game industry and it's vile.… Expand

    This game is missing many features that were in previous games. If the game let me stay playing the original warcraft 3 I would've been ok just to see what the upgrade would have been but its forced.

    It's a fantastic remake, Beaten Campaign with zero bugs flaws or issues. Even multiplayer works fine. ignore 99% of these reviews.     The bad: This nonsense costs money.
    What was shown on video of the BlizzCon 2018 nothing was fulfilled. There is no customization. There are no profiles. There are no clans. There are no qualifying games. There are no automatic tournaments. There are no new phases and missions of the campaign. There are no new kinematics. There is no new animation. There is no remastered audio. There are no new perspectives in kinematics. The interface was not improved, it is the same. They want to impose a new EULA for moders, almost 20 years late. There is a 30 Gb patch for online mode and the servers are bad. The stability of the game is bad, they also add new glyphs.

    Lo Meh !: what happened almost two decades ago with the theft of DotA 1 by another company (Valve) is not my fault or the moders, it is entirely the fault of Blizzard (Heroes of Storm should be DotA2) and just wants it don't happen again, don't be ridiculous    … Expand

    Still an awesome game. I never got to play all the way through the original so I love finishing the game. The interface could use some tuning it makes the game very hard. The bugs that cause it to crash are a pain but usually only have happened to me at the very beginning of the mission before it starts.

    Very buggy even just in menu, false advertised game with tragic EULA. Reforge the Reforged for free and proper way.

    Activision cut the heart out of Blizzard. What a soulless corporate zombie you have become. False advertising, monetizing the creations of its customers and outright lies are why I am never buying an Activison/Blizzard product as long as I live.

    The game came out unfinished. Much of the promise has not been realized. Everything is very bad. I do not recommend buying.

    They even deleted the old game. Your Battlenet will automatically update to this version which is broken. 30 dollars this is a freaking joke. The old Blizzard is dead, but to **** on their legacy like THIS? It's unbelievable.

    Nothing but broken promises. Less features than the original, environments look terrible and far less vibrant. Bliz requires you "upgrade" if you just want to play classic online.

    Blizzard not only managed to destroy a game I've played for over a decade, they nuked the original client so that they could force the new one onto all of us and boy does it suck. It's somehow in a worse state than the vanilla edition. How do you make a game this old WORSE?

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
