    Unlike most, I’m not a big blizzard fan, I just wanted to try wc3 for the first time and try for myself this legendary game. I should had just got a second hand copy of the original game, because this game is simply unplayable, 8/10 times a match will crash and when it does work, the performance is unbearable.

    When I saw the beta footage I thought the streams where all fake accounts playing a ripoff warcraft 3 game.

    But I found out it was real streamers, not fake accounts, and they where actually playing the real game.

    As a Warcraft 3 Classic player i feel robbed.
    I was forced to leave the old smooth running game and had to download 30 gb of assets just to continue with an even buggier and laggier game. No shadow option for my classic units and the community features are just missing. Where is my ladder?

    the home menu page looks 10 times worst and sluggish compared to classic frozen throne. nothing new in the game. just upgrades to the looks which some might even prefer the classic graphics.

    totally not worth $29.90.

    Maybe $0.99 makes more sense for upgrade in skins and added bugs in the game.

    DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Они ее как бы переделали (отдали на аутсорс и заставили их делать ее) но лучше бы просто полигонов старой версии добавили чем то что вышло в итоге, она вырвиглазная, неприятная. Отдайте вы игру мододелам и они бы сделали лучше чем тот штат бездельников который её и делал. Игра - халтура.Инди компания снова не смогла.     El juego no es mas que un mod grafico con muchos fallos, puedes encontrar mejores mod gráficos creados por la propia comunidad fan de warcraft por lo que es una perdida de dinero y una estafa.

    This is so sad, me and my GF bought this thing thinking it would be a stand alone product, but it actually rewrites the original WC3 files, we tried to get a refund but it was denied, now, the only way to play the original WC3 is to actually pirate it. what the hell was blizzard thinking?

    Want to like it. But it's very buggy and laggy. Twice in a single game lost control of all units and had to restart client.

    They could have also improved the UI. Really just a failing company looking to cash in on old IP one last time.

    Just an absolute disaster. Janky animations, looks no where near the quality they promised at BlizzCon a couple years back. Zero effort in custom maps, so no luck there. Crashed multiple times during the single player campaign -- to the point where it was unplayable.

    Can't even get a refund, that's the nail in the coffin for me. Blizzard is dead.

    False advertisement, bugs, wonky animations and performance. The art does not resemble something from blizz at all.

    Extremely disappointing. I was really looking forward to this updated version of one of my favorite games. The technical issues coupled with the false promises forced me refund this game. I expect better from a Blizzard product.

    Well where should i start.. I cant even turn down the Volume cause every Time i wanna go into the Menu the game Crashes Instantly. Blizzard was back then my Favorite Studio for Games but after this absolute Mess its time to go ahead and turn my back to this Publisher. Its Sad was this Studion has become Farewell and R.I.P Blizzard 2k20

    THAT BEING SAID, the release of Warcraft 3 Reforged actively ruined my old purchased Warcraft 3 so that I can no longer use it to play locally with my friends on a CD-key i bought almost 15 years ago and I have kept with me ever since. On top of that,    let me preface; I have not played the game as released, I wanted to see how it was on release before i payed money for it. Good plan!

    Broken promises, incomplete work, and bugs so massive that this game should still be in alpha testing.
    My adventure with Reforged began with you have been defeated. I started the campaign and before the play screen even came up, it said I have been defeated. A bug like that should never make it even into beta testing. Promised cinematics and cutscenes were not included as stated at BlizzCon 2018. What's worse is that on Blizzard's website, they still show the scene that is not included. That should be false advertising.

    Another mistake by Blizzard is the new end-user license agreement on the use of the map and game editor. Anything created using the editor included in Warcraft 3 reforged becomes, 100%, the property of Blizzard. The creator gets no credit, no recognition, and no compensation for their creative works. It all goes to Blizzard. I see that as downright unethical and perhaps even theft. This alienates a large chunk of the Warcraft 3 community. In my opinion, they should have made a first dibs rule in which if someone creates something that is potentially profitable, Blizzard gets first rights to offer the creators royalty or some other compensation for their work. That would maintain a friendly community. Instead they take a club to it like a bumbling ogre and shatter the creative community. Imagine the global uproar if Adobe did this to their software. If you use our software to create or edit anything, you are granting us full unconditional copyrights to those works.

    But what I see as the worst act Blizzard has taken in this disaster is the butchering of the original Warcraft 3. Even if you did not buy Warcraft 3 reforged, your installation of the original Warcraft 3 gets integrated into the modern battle.net. As a result, the original has now inherited many of the bugs from the reforged edition. This made parts of it unplayable. Fortunately for me, I still have my original CDs and keys. I reinstalled the game. Before opening it, I created a Windows firewall rule to prevent Warcraft 3 from communicating outside my home network. Thus preventing it from being reinfected by battle.net.

    So in the end, I'd say this has been a total disaster and PR nightmare for Blizzard. And looking back, this downward spiral began shortly after Activision purchased Blizzard 11 years ago.    … Expand

    Very fun campaign so far. Difficult on Hard mode so it keeps me entertained, have to employ strategy or else you will get wrecked... I don't see where all of the hate is coming from. It's $30. I wouldn't expect to have no bugs on release. Every video game does. Im certain the small bugs will get fixed in time. The world is too entitled nowadays.

    I was rather looking forward to the "update" on this classic game that I have played since day 1 back in 2002, now it is just a buggy unfinished mess, may main disappointment comes in during the custom games and the biggest point is there are now TIME OUTS??!! even on a simple Booty Bay map against the computer or "AI". Plus the fact that you cannot go back to the original game itself. II was rather looking forward to the "update" on this classic game that I have played since day 1 back in 2002, now it is just a buggy unfinished mess, may main disappointment comes in during the custom games and the biggest point is there are now TIME OUTS??!! even on a simple Booty Bay map against the computer or "AI". Plus the fact that you cannot go back to the original game itself. I understand in games like WoW things change and no going back unless we are handed classic which was the original game but a stand alone RTS which has now completely changed and we had no choice, this is the first instance I can think of where this has happened.     Blizzard did the same thing that killed Starcraft 2 UMS map scene by pre-emptively claiming IP ownership over anything created with it and you can't make custom lobbies with maps you created. Absolute garbage, no one is going to want to make anything cool or creative with this like dota or tower defense or those weird dbz rpg games. I was excited and pre-orderer it over a year in advance and it's now the first Blizzard game I've refunded in 20 years of buying and playing every blizzard game.

    Yes there is obviously the nostalgia factor at work here. I mean DOTA was the greatest thing to come from the multiplayer, and that lead to so many other great games. But just because something was great doesn't mean that we put on rose colored glasses for the remake and fail to cast a critical eye. Don't waste the money. Do not buy this game. It isn't worth it. Period And Blizzard you should be ashamed. You used to be about quality games that were polished. A company that cared about their customers.
    Unfortunately since you were acquired by Activision, things have been steadily going downhill. I feel sorry for you, and sorry for everyone who spent money on this game.

    The fact that Blizzard released this so effin broken just shows they've lost touch with reality. I purchased 3 licenses ahead of time. One for myself, 2 for friends. And as everyone knows custom games are broken so I can't even rate what the gameplay is like. One thing I know, Ive had it with Activision/Blizzard. Activision has destroyed blizzard

    I figured that since Starcraft remaster turned out good that this would would be about the same. I was wrong. I have not been this disappointed by a game since duke nukem forever.

Just as movies can't get away with "we'll fix it after its out of theaters" games shouldn't be allowed to excuse that either. 4. The biggest issue for me is the changes to the Terms of Service (ToS). The major fun of Warcraft 3 was the custom map scene. The new ToS state all custom content a person makes becomes property of Blizzard / Activision (no credit to creator is obligated). In addition any "third party" designs, as I interpret "themes" such as "Pokemon Battle" "Anime Fight" etc. are banned. These do not necessarily contain third party graphics only themes, such as names and plot. There is no reason to make these changes other than the greed of a company in fear of missing out on the ability to steal the hard work and ingenuity of others. Even if you do not plan to make custom maps yourself, this change is policy will result in a major decrease in the number and variety of maps, which will also lead to a decrease in the number of players. An unfortunate effect of this policy change is that is also carries over to the original game, so those who wish to play WC3 cannot even escape to an older copy. Simply put, even with the superior graphics, the resulting downgrades leave this as an inferior product to what it is supposed to replace and Blizzard specifically downgraded the older version. This may cause the appearance of equality in features and performance, leaving only the graphics being the difference, but any player who has played WC3 originally will know how this game is not only inferior but also ruined an existing favorite game as a result. If you have purchased this or pre-ordered, I suggest not opening it. I was able to easily get a refund, likely do the never opening the game on my profile. Others who tested the game on their profile have not had as much success.… Expand

    Holy crap. How can you release a game with some many bugs. After a google search I found out that many of the bugs have already been reportet under test before lauch. That just show that Blizzard dosen't care about players. It's all about money.

    The most disgusting cash grab I’ve ever seen. Game is completely broken. Missing an insane amount of promised content that they’re STILL advertising. Just overall broken mess. Blizzard has managed to unfinish a game that was released almost 20 years ago, even Bethesda can’t do that. Well done Blizzard. Or rather. Well done Activision Blizzard. Thank you for ruining your brand further.

    Thank goodness I got a refund. This game isn't even a polished turd. Its another trashcan money scheme from blizzard. I honestly feel bad for everyone who was apart of this remake. Better luck next time....

    This "update" is not worth 30 dollar price tag. If they kept all the functionality of the original and didn't destroy the modding community around this game (both the original and the reforged), the graphics update would be worth 10 dollars at most. Then there is the false advertising.

    The problem everyone has with this game is they forced people out of the old version - into this new version, which is worse in most ways, and also not what was promised.

    "blizzard" is a dieng company bought out by greedy activision who either hires cheap employees (i know they pay lower than competition) or just treats their employees like crap so the game results are poor at best.

    They have successfully ruined a game i grew up loving. There was literally nothing wrong with Warcraft 3 and it was something that was being streamed all these years later. How they did this is beyond me. We have been lied to. DO NOT BUY WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED. I will never support Blizzard/Activision. The passion, love, art, story, and gameplay behind what Blizzard used to represent is dead.

    I can't describe with words just how disappointed I am with this "Re-Imagining" as they put it.

    If this is what their imagination has become, I don't think they should ever make another game again; It'd be a waste of every piece of the world's resources they'd end up using on it.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
