    I have $2,000 dollars PC with a 3rd generation Ryzen CPU and a Radeon 5700 XT GPU and still I'm suffering from fps drops. This game has to many bugs to be playable.

    I expected much more from Blizzard.

    Not only did Blizzard straight up lie about what Reforged was going to bring, but they also forced this broken mess onto the original WC3 by force-updating it, which makes it impossible to play the original, unbroken WC3. So, if you bought the original game and do not want this "Reforged" garbage, Blizzard has effectively disabled that original game that you purchased.     It is difficult to re-release a game you created decades ago and somehow make it substantially worse, but Blizzard managed it. Out of touch with the userbase, unapologetically kowtowing to autocrats, it's the Blizzard no one saw coming.

Reforged suffers from a lack of what made the original version great and that was a sense of community. Even starcarft 2 at the time felt more of a community than this with its clans and clan feature. Starcraft 2 had at one point automated tournaments and stats.     How do you "remaster" a game by removing content? Reforged ? More like Downgraded. Apart from the new models (which admittedly are nice) they've removed so much from what it once was.
    The promises (as still shown on there webpage at this time) of extra content, redone cutscenes and the like are all not in the game.

    I grew up with this game, and blizzard turned around and lied to us. They locked down their custom maps behind greedy policies claiming all content as their own, they didn't deliver with the cut-scenes in the campaign having shown us a full cinematic in a trailer and then upon release they just swapped the old assets for the new ones and left the cut-scene more or less untouched, theyI grew up with this game, and blizzard turned around and lied to us.     This is a huge letdown. As a fan of the Original Warcraft III 2002, I couldn't believe that Blizzard failed this hard on a beloved classic. Save your hard earned $30 and do not give Blizzard another dime.

    This is a hard review for me to write. I have been a fan of WCIII since it came out originally. Frozen Throne booked me into more Blizzard games and eventually World of Warcraft. The game has a lot of lore that matters to me. I played through the games several times over the years and integrated my account the my battle.net account so I didn’t have to keep my CDs and Keys to install it, IThis is a hard review for me to write. I have been a fan of WCIII since it came out originally. Frozen Throne booked me into more Blizzard games and eventually World of Warcraft. The game has a lot of lore that matters to me. I played through the games several times over the years and integrated my account the my battle.net account so I didn’t have to keep my CDs and Keys to install it, I could just install it from the install files on the website. When this Reforged version was announced, I preordered immediately for a chance to relieve the stories with better cutscenes and graphics and more UI choices. My excitement was quickly ended when I loaded up the new version. It is much larger and much clunkier than the original. The graphics are better but nothing else is. None of the promised upgrades to UI or new cutscenes are there. I was really disappointed.

    To make matters really worse, these new files override my old version of the game so I cannot go back and play it the way I remember and I can no longer load it onto a flash drive for portability because it has become about 30gb in size. Definitely not worth the price. I feel the company has given up on making this amazing title great again. Not recommended, but if you can find CDs of the original game, it’s really worth a play through.    … Expand

Brilliantly evil of them to sell me WC3 for $60 the first time, then again, with new skins but less features for $40 years later. I’m not sure what I paid for other than cosmetics that really aren’t that noticeable unless you play zoomed-in. For $40, you could get a different, complete AAA game that is slightlyLifelong fan of Blizzard here. Love everything they’ve done....until this game.     Extremely disappointed. Blizzard was always one of my favorites, now how they've fallen from grace. I'd rather go play Fallout: 76. This game is a prime example of why you should NEVER preorder anything anymore

The new game has better graphics but lousey interface and bad connectivity also content held by Activision so no reason to make Activsion more money by doing the job of the programmers they fired. Played for one day. Not even worth the mount they us. Yes...game not worth 2 dollars so save your money.

    So when they announced Reforged, I was really looking forward to it and pre-purchased it. It's the only game i have pre-purchased. But it's been such a let down. So broken and buggy.     It seems as though Activision really is committed to destroying the reputation of Blizzard, a company with a focus on content. And that attitude of content and experience come first, didn't go unnoticed. Before Activision's involvement, Blizzard could almost do no wrong in the eyes of the fans.     Warcraft 3 Reforge is a pretty game, with wonderful remastered models and everything that was promised. It's the original experience that provides quality, and the voice acting is phenomenal. Plenty of extra details in these new original cutscene's that you wouldn't of noticed before and the movies provide plentiful immersion.

Seems most people focus their fragile minds on negativity, rather than being thankful they got a remaster: like a child, throwing a tantrum for not getting what he wanted for Christmas.     Pretty horrible game. Blizzard's formula currently is putting as little effort as possible while maximize profits. This game looks like a f2p start-up game it's that horrible. Sadly majority of shareholders don't play their games b/c they would withdraw their funds and run.

    Absolute rubbish. I couldn't care less about the cut scenes. What I care about is the intermittent lag, choppy gameplay. I have a computer with an Intel 7700K and a 1080, the login screen is so choppy it's insane. Lowering settings does very little. I have also played it on an AMD Ryzen 2700 with a 5700 XT and it STILL plays like garbage. I am so so so disappointed. All the changes to theAbsolute rubbish.     Was hoping it wouldn't be just a reskin before I bought it. Ended up wishing that it would be possible to make it just a reskin. The reskins are actually worse as well. If you play the Kr version, the translation and font choice is atrocious, making the sentences and names overlap with each other.     What has happened to this company? How could Blizzard release such an egregiously restrictive customs EULA? I understand they probably could've made their original EULA a bit tighter so they could've capitalized a bit on the innovation that that platform provided but this is beyond overkill. I mean this is just nasty and bad for both the community and the company.

    Hard mode adds enemy spawns that can send more waves automatically from each base then you can select units at once. Add high-level enemies heroes that use their skills perfectly and you physically cannot beat some missions without cheating or spending hours regening health. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. On top of all of this, they can not get over the fact they didn't get Dota so now they want all rights for custom games and because of it we are not going to see great custom games in this game....ActivisionBlizzard made big mess and deserves this 0 review score.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
