DougAug 6, 2006Possibly not the worst game I have ever played. Possibly. This drags Ubisoft and Bethesdas name through the mud. I often regret it when I impulse buy before checking metacritic. This is one of this times. Do not touch. Not even with the sharp end of a rapier.

MikeW.Aug 13, 2007What was wrong with the first Pirates Of The Caribbean? Why do we have to suffer these poor linear games inspired by movies when all we ever wanted were improvements to the original.

CharlieW.Aug 14, 2006I seem to have misplaced my left stick as well. What the hell were they thinking? Do they just asume everybody has a gamepad? I want to play it, but I can't. What is with Jack's face? Why is the camera control so twitchy?

arubanoSep 16, 2006This piece of crap is as bad as it's predecessor. Luckily, this time I didn't buy the game to see how bad it was. Aside from the horrific console -> PC port issues, there are bugs which I doubt they will be corrected considering that they even didn't release a patch for it's predecessor.

MikeG.Jul 26, 2006the pc version of this game is so terrible, i feel like i have to do everything in my power to keep others from trying it. the keyboard controls are utterly unfathomable and the action "hints" that pop up are only for game controllers. i feel like a monkey with a typewriter trying to write "see spot run"--forget about the gettysburg address.

The Legend of Jack Sparrow is bogged down by a host of flaws, but in the end, it's still a passably entertaining sword-brawler.
-
A pretty standard hack-and-slash action game that doesn't deliver on much of the stumblingly bombastic charm of its title character.
-
For a game that was inspired by a movie that was inspired by a theme park ride that was originally inspired by a book, The Legend of Jack Sparrow is less than inspired.
