    O primeiro jogo ja era fantástico e esse melhorou em tudo. Um metroidvania obrigatório pra quem gosta do genero e merecia muito mais atenção,tanto da midia quanto dos jogadores. Sequencia perfeita.

    Beautiful game. In many ways the game is very similair to the first one. But it manages to improve in all aspects. Better characters, better level design, better gameplay and even more emotional beats I'd say. Very enjoyable and short game!

    Beautiful, emotional, compelling, unique... and challenging! One of the best and most difficult games I’ve ever played. When I realised a new boss fight would start, I got excited, because the previews was already super hard. They were all expectable gigantic beasts with a variation of ways of beating them, which made the game never boring.     I like this game. It is beautiful and most of the time it is a lot of fun. But then there are these stupid trial and error passages, and they are awful. They destroy most of the game for me.

    What I found most problematic however, was the amount of time that I have spent bouncing all four corners of the map, trying to figure out where to go next. I too often found myself navigating a set of challenging platforming section, only to realize that I had spent the last 10 minutes burying myself deep in the wrong direction.

    It doesn't help that the audio-visual presentation, for all its beauty and polish, lacks variety, originality, dare I say, identity. This is a critique that very well extends to the story and characters.

    One of the best platformer game of the decade, cant believe they put boomers to review games, scoring low just because "its hard" this game its so underrated, that at least it deserved to won at least best soundtrack or art direction at the game awards.

    I didn't expect that many improvements from the previous game. The visuals are beautiful and every place has its own charm. The soundtrack is fantastic and its not just a remix from the previous game. It has a memorable story and characters and the side missions are fun because you get to explore and face different challenges.     Ori and the Will of The Wisps is a worthy successor to the first game that overshadows it in every way possible. The unique visual style of Ori 1 was made to look breathtaking in almost every situation, with some great new effects and bright and saturated colors. Every zone in the game feels unique and is fun to explore once you get to them. New enemies are so much fun to kick around,Ori and the Will of The Wisps is a worthy successor to the first game that overshadows it in every way possible. The unique visual style of Ori 1 was made to look breathtaking in almost every situation, with some great new effects and bright and saturated colors. Every zone in the game feels unique and is fun to explore once you get to them. New enemies are so much fun to kick around, thanks in a big, big part to the fact that combat is actually there now! Getting a sword was jarring, but even in the first level, not having any crazy abilities from near the end of the game, it is so incredibly fun and awesome to zip around your enemies, landing as many hits as possible without letting foes touch you, and upgrading all the new abilites Ori 2 introduces is infinitely more fun than it was in Blind Forest.
    And, best of all, The Will of the Wisps finally fulfills the promise of a real, emotional narrative that keeps to the idea of fairy-tale-like simplicity. Right from the beggining, the focus on adventure with friends is apperent. You fly and have fun with Ku (although I wish there was more of that), you rebuild the village sort of thing in the heart of the island, talking to moki and other characters, completing quests for them. It feels amazingly more engaging to travel for some good person's sake or to rescue your owl sibling from the clutches of a tragic villian with a simple but emotional backstory, instead of completeing requests of a tree diety and trying to save your mom who you don't know and thus can't connect to, from the clutches of a menacing creautre, who's entire problem with you and Nibel (the tree diety) is basically a huge misunderstanding. The story is actually great in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, precisely because of it's simplicity. It doesn't try to make you think and then to emotionaly engage you, it goes for the heart immideately and never lets go of it until the very end and a boss battle that you'll remember forever.     One of my favorite games of the year. Fantastic art style, sweet story and amazing music to match. I played through both this and Ori and the Blind forest and they are wonders. Nice slow build up of mechanics and exploration that gives a reasonable pace. The chases might not suit all but it adds a nice way to get people to act quickly. You can pick this up for quite cheap already and I'dOne of my favorite games of the year. Fantastic art style, sweet story and amazing music to match. I played through both this and Ori and the Blind forest and they are wonders. Nice slow build up of mechanics and exploration that gives a reasonable pace. The chases might not suit all but it adds a nice way to get people to act quickly. You can pick this up for quite cheap already and I'd say snap it up even at full price.

    Definitely one of the best games of this year.

    I loved it even though I don't like this genre, the plot is amazing and very emotional, the music and sounds are perfect and the gameplay is very funny despite it can be very difficult.

    I didn't even finish the game, because I'm tired of moving along in a big big map and searching for what to do next. And that's what game exactly want you to do. It simply tells you to go from a corner of map to another again, again and AGAIN!
    This stupid mechanism prevented me from experiencing game's great story. That's why I'm giving a 4.

    The combat system is not very good, the character itself gets lost in sight, due to the great amount of bright things in the environment, sometimes i find myself not knowing where the hell Ori is, cause everything is shining when im in combat, also, the hit box system is pretty bad when it comes to bosses, specially the spider at the dark forest.     Uno de los juegos más hermosos que he jugado, tanto en banda sonora, jugabilidad y diseño artístico, este juego es una brillantez por donde se lo mire. Tardé unas 17hs en pasarlo y 18hs semi completo.
    Es un juego que te va a llegar si te gustan este tipo de juegos, porque, además de su bonita ambientación, la historia es un poco triste.

    I really don't understand how some people hate this or give it a 3 or 2 out of 10, This game goes beyond the first one in everything, This is my Game of the year, It really does deserve 10/10, try it guys , It's on Game Pass or buy it, What an amazing wonderful experience.

    I enjoyed Ori this time around about as much as the first time. It's a solid platformer and it dishes out some fun abilities at a decent pace. I wish there was more story but we can't have it all.

    Great story, amazing audio and sooo beautiful graphic. This game take you away from problems and worries. So relaxing and chill.
    IMHO this is game of the year ;) Maybe Ori is not AAA Game, but is the best game i ever played. Im waitng for another Ori game Producents should think about a movie!

Единственно, что немножко оптимизация подкачала: вначале в прологе маленько подлагивало и в течение игры тоже были небольшие фризы. Ну, я думаю, с патчами пофиксили уже. Так что 10Более чем достойное продолжение великолепной первой части. Улучшили всё: графику, геймплей, добавили торговцев, намного больше стало диалогов, появились мини-квесты, также добавили новые оружия для разнообразия.     This game is absolutely fantastic. I can see the people in the negative reviews complain it's a bit difficult. Some parts is, but that's some of the fun. It's not a game where you just go from start to finish without any challange. I completed it on normal after around 13 hours, still a lot to do if I want to go back and finish everything! The best game so far in 2020, easily.

    I love this game! If you like great Metroidvanias, you should play the first game (Ori and the Blind Forest) and then play this game. Both awesome games.

    There's hardly anything remotely bad to say about this game, except for a few bugs and some confusing (and not really fun) controls in the later stages of the game.

    But that should not keep you from playing it, as it is truly a masterpiece!

    I had technical problems initially, but dusting off my PC and getting a proper GPU fixed everything completely.

    Now Ori and the Will of the Wisp is EASILY the most fluid and visually impressive game I have ever played on PC. It's an absolute masterpiece and I feel bad for not experiencing it properly right from the start.

    Definitely THE game to try ig you have a HDR capable monitor!!

    Enjoyed this game a lot. It copies many mechanics from Hollow Knight. The story is good but I was expecting to see more owl involvement in the process.

Audiovisual is very awesome and soundtracks are beautiful. Bossfight are really good and hard. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is one of the best games of 2020.

    I played the previous game so much fun, I kept waiting for this game. Dreamy graphics and BGM were perfect. But this game closer to Hollow knight. It's as if the Hollow Knight is covered with Ori graphics. And there were some parts of the story that I couldn't understand.

    An amazing sequel to the first game! It was so much fun that I played it again after I finished it! Imagine that I NEVER replay games. There were some issues here and there and the story wasn't as much original as the first one but the value of this game is pretty high!

Although lacking in originality, the game play and combat is fun and engaging. The various skills and abilities you have are all very impactful to the way you play and are all very fun to use. Platforming in particular is definitely one of the game's highlights. It is both challenging but really fun at the same time because of the amount of available skills that you have to traverse certain locations an how you balance those skills to get where you need to go. Boss battles as well are great. The different bosses have very good and interesting mechanics and the cinematic nature of the fights were a sight to behold as well. The overall art style of the game is beautiful. Each area you visit looks and feels very distinct from the other areas while still being coherent to the art direction of the game. What really bogged down my experience was the myriad of technical issues in the game which were bad enough to ruin some of the moments of my entire playthrough.     A metrovania game close to art.

    The delicate expression of light and the magnificent orchestra's BGM gave us a wonderful experience, a unique feature of this game that is hard to find in other games. As a person who has played a similar game Hollowknight of the same genre, the action of the game is relatively lacking, but it is a sufficient complement in many other ways.

    In this part 2 however...Pfff....they ramped up the diffulty. And Call me an old man, but I just find that to be annoying. I tell you something if you play this gorgeous game you never gonna forget this amazing adventure and characters my Game of the Year my Goat always this beautiful franchise 10/10.

    It's a beautiful and emotional game with many ineteresting mechanics that get introduced with each new area. And it feels great having mastered all of them and truly feel like you own the magical forest as you swiftly glide across the screen avoiding obstacles and dashing enemies.     Specifically I've stopped playing at the escape from the sand worm in Windtorn Ruins and I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to the game. And although Ori is notorious for its escape sequences I think there's a point where it stops being hard and becomes annoying. I have successfully finished the first instalment in the series "Ori and the Blind Forest" which already had some tough sequences like the escape from the Ginso Tree. And I was happy with other sequences in "The Will of the Wisps", so I know I can master them relatively quickly and enjoy the reward of finally beating them.

    The issue I'd like to raise here with the development team is one of balance and enjoyment. In my opinion certain sequences are just out of balance with the rest of the difficulty of the game. If you start the game at normal difficulaty and you finish 70% without a problem and suddenly you're stuck is that really just an indication of an unexperienced player? Had the game indicated that this difficulty is not for my non-professional-gamer leasure experience earlier on, maybe I would have started with "easy" - although I doubt if that would've let me avoid these sequences.

    I've also seen countless other people drop the game at this point (look for threads on Reddit or comments on YouTube). As someone pointed out these sequences are not as much about your skill and decision making as they are about your muscle memory after 100th attempt. I'm also curious what the effect of using different controllers (Xbox vs PC) has and how much testing was done on each of them.

    Would only recommend to people who really know what they're getting themselves into and who are sure they will enjoy repeating the same on minute sequence over and over for hours so they can pat their muscle memory on the shoulder.    … Expand

    The perfect second part for the first Ori. Level design, art and, at first place, the AMAZING soundtrack make this game a 10/10 for me. This is literally the best soundtrack I've heard on a videogame. By itself, it tells all the story.
    Also, story is simple but very well executed, with some surprises. Just buy the game and play it to enjoy an amazing, beautiful and very emotional experience.

    Amazing sequel to one of my favorite games. The first game is better, but this one is still amazing. The combat and platforming are better in this game. However the first game still wins for me due to it's superior world and story.

    As much as I love gameplay aspects of this game, that story, character development, really awful villan and some stupid script choices make all emotion empact just shallow and not engaging. Still I think it's great game, but not masterpiece like first one.

    The launch version had a lot of technical bugs and glitches. But it Looks like most are fixed by now! I also was not quite satisfied with the story... Especially the pacing.     This game would have been sooooo much better if there was a quicksave option.. the saving mechanism just sucks ..

    Also game is mostly about how quickly / times jumps you can make . After a while I will get carpal tunnel.

    But. So many things are cool. The graphics, music , the abilities. But alas... It is unplayable. Also key bindings if changed will cause bugs

Then I heard there was a patch coming and I said ok I'll try it again and still had some audio bugs and some frame drops and also I left the game and thought there was an autosave system in place but no apparently you can only save on some specific points so fine I lost my progress.     I bought it on the first day of release, and that is my best decision in my life. The words to describe about this game is "masterpiece" for me. The beautiful graphics, great sound, and i love Ori ( the little white creature, very cute).

    If you like Ori and the blind forest you will like Ori and the will of the wisps too. Everything are perfect in this game. I can't say anything bad. This is an art. I enjoyed every minutes i have spent for it. I really recommend.

The game is massive, really builds well on Ori and the Blind Forrest. The boss fights are fun and unique, the platforming & movement is truly unmatched!     This game does everything perfect. From the art style, story, music, atmosphere and also gameplay. Ori and the blind forest was one of my favorite platformers, and they made it even better with the Will of the Wisps.

    As in its first game, this game does everything right. Incredible in his technical, visual and artistic section. Excellent soundtrack. Challenging and addictive. Recommended.

    It’s a shining example of how to do a sequel. They kept the core of what made the original enjoyable while switching up just about everything they could. There are some elements I feel it did better, some where I feel the original did better with, but on the whole they feel like they’re on equal footing. If you want a game that’s more of an experience than simply something to kill time, if you want something that showcases how artistic games can be, if you want an action platformer with plenty of approaches to combat, I can’t recommend enough that you pick up Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Also Ori and the Blind Forest if you haven’t played it already.
