    So I purchased the game, only for the servers to be down all day on release and then for the game to be pulled.

    The all the games are bad; FPS on all of them are all over the place. Right now, they are unplayable.

    Absolutely disgusting remaster. Cyberpunk looks like polished art compared to this trilogy. Full of bugs, terrible looking characters, bad graphic and performance. You can't buy legally classic editions of thoose game becouse of this cash grab. Shame on you Rockstar. San Andreas Definitive Edition is not worth to play even on gamepass. 0/10

    On its own this release doesn't deserve a zero. I'd say it's a little short of mediocre, but I've seen far worse in my time as a gamer. But there's no way I can forgive Take Two and Rockstar for the horrible way they've treated the community, for the fact that they've issued and are still issuing DMCAs to modders or for pulling the originals from online stores in order to steer people intoOn its own this release doesn't deserve a zero.     These are the worst versions of GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas. Textures are a mess, many looking inferior to the original PS2 games. Character models are laughable, all looking disfigured and lacking in detail. Rainfall looks terrible and ruins visibility when driving at night. The worst offense is Take Two Interactive removing the original digital versions of these gamesThese are the worst versions of GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas.     This remaster is DISGRACE to the GTA classics. Poor optimizations, full of bugs and glitches, hideous character models etc etc.

    The same useless studio that destroyed GTA SA XBox360 are responsible for this crap. They butchered SA, completely ruined its atmosphere, weather effects and some how even removed graphics like grass and low lying fog, it is just embaresing. With the Trilogy it's like they plastered a layer of plastisine over everything and added a ton off bugs..     a few weeks ago you could've got all 3 games for far less that they $60 rockstar wanted, downloaded a few mods and you would have a much better experience.

    This "definite edition" is an abomination. A classless, unoptimized, bug-filled rush-job that is nowhere near any standards expected from a game released in 2021. The original games with mods were thousand times better.     A total mess. The originals on their first platforms are better, the originals when modded on PC are fare superior then this. Seeing as Take 2 removed the originals, you can now just pirate them and the mods for free, without feeling any form of guilt, they are really easy to install. A modded San Andreas is still brilliant.

    Rockstar have outdone themselves here. It is like they ported over the mobile versions and then made them worse somehow. Appalling Rockstar. I know they are a company and money is the bottom line, but the fact they have milked GTA 5 the way they have and then release garbage like this without giving anything back to their fans/customers is beyond a joke now. If RDR2 wasn't so good, I'dRockstar have outdone themselves here. It is like they ported over the mobile versions and then made them worse somehow. Appalling Rockstar. Телефоны, парящие в воздухе, сцены где все темно и ничего не видно, проблемы с оптимизацией, выпученные глаза и персонажи, которые сами на себя из оригиналов не похожи. Более того, местами кажется, что игра идёт быстрее, чем оригинал. Тайминг из-за этого теряются. Как и ощущение от качественного продукта, тут его нет.     Just lazy work on some great classics. Don't buy that it's not worth it. Literally bugs that have been fixed by modders years ago.

Now it's playable again and I have to point out few annoying things. 1) When I want to load the game, I don't know which saved game to load, because there is even no time showing you    I spent $60 on this game and it disappeared from rockstar library after client update! I have never seen anything like that before.

    EDITED on 17/11/2021: Ok, so the game was unavailable for 48 hours. Now it's playable again and I have to point out few annoying things.

    1) When I want to load the game, I don't know which saved game to load, because there is even no time showing you when the game was saved!

    2) I have very powerful $4000+ gaming setup and I am having below 40 FPS when driving fast in 4K resolution (RX 6900 XT 16 GB + 16 GB DDR4 4000 MHz + i9-9900KS 5GHz all cores)!

    3) Audio, AI, physics are all unchanged from the original GTA series

    4) The only good thing about this definitive edition are modernized controls, so GTA Vice city is normally playable on modern computers. When I tried to play the original game, the controls were so bad that I decided to stop playing completely. That's why I give this game 1 point for improving this thing. Graphics are not that much better than original series and for example rain looks terrible.    … Expand

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
