    It would take effort to make these GTA Classic somehow worse, but Rockstar did it. This is not a "definitive" game, this is merely a port of a port from the iOS/Android release with some "updated" graphics from a small mobile game company that Rockstar outsourced it too. Rockstar then accepted this unfinished product and happily sold it to their fan base for $60, just to take it away afterIt would take effort to make these GTA Classic somehow worse, but Rockstar did it. Rockstar then accepted this unfinished product and happily sold it to their fan base for $60, just to take it away after a day because they left copyrighted material, the notorious "Hot Coffee" mod and even random developer notes in the game files. Several days later, Rockstar has yet to reinstate the game or even tell us how long we have to wait. This is on top of extremely scummy behavior such as removing the originals from sale, forcing you to buy this version if he hadn't had them before. As well as threatening legal action against the modding community that kept the original games working and provided far better graphical enhancements than Rockstar has.… Expand

    So many dumb excuses; its bad, period. All this BS about preserving the original look and feel is nonsense. The game objectively plays and looks bad, don't give me garbage and then say it was a design choice; all that tells me is you have terrible taste.

    With GTA 5 online, it became apparent to me how little Rockstar cares about their franchise and that all they care about is squeezing as much money from the playerbase as possible. This is the most low effort game I've seen and the developers should be ashamed. If you have any high hopes for the next GTA game with kwispy next gen gwaphics - check your enthusiasm.     Rockstar has completely degraded into a money hungry, criminal entity that doesn’t even care to release anything for the people who pay for their product. What’s worse, the refund process is basically nonexistent, they took this product off of their ‘support’ section of the social club website, which they claim is the only way to get a refund. This is a poor port, a shoddy, stuttery, low resolution mess full of bugs, glitches, audio problems and more besides. If can grab this one on any other platform, I'd advise you doGrand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition delivers three of gaming's true greats in a shockingly rough package that manages to suck pretty much all of the fun out of Rockstar's stellar crime epics. If can grab this one on any other platform, I'd advise you do so or, at the very least, hold off until it's been patched and hopefully improved in the future. As things stand, this is a very, very long way from 'definitive' - this isn't the way we want to remember these games. A dedicated 100-man team should have been set aside here, which for a number of years should have been allowed to build one game at a time, from scratch - as Capcoms did with Resident Evil 2 Remake or Hangar 13 with Mafia: Definitive Edition. Because there is nothing "Definitive" here, except the fact that I definitely will not carry on playing this.… Expand

    I've been playing the GTA series since I was a kid, it stayed with me all my childhood, I still play GTAV, and Red Dead Redemption, I think it's a legend, but the game is crap, it shouldn't be in 2021 Shame on Rock-star! Don't turn into Blizzard!

    This game remake is a joke and rockstar needs to admit it is the worst product they released and give refunds and start over from the beginning and give it to a studio that actually knows what they are doing.

    How embarrassing, a multi billion dollar company create this utter $h!¥ show while at the same time going after the modders that have actually created some brilliant content for free, $60 for this is half baked mobile port is appalling.

    This is a buggy mess of a game that spits in the original trilogy legacy, worst of all, rockstar removed access to the older gta's completely, even if you bought them legally, this means everyone needs to resort to piracy or buying used hard copies of the game.

    Es horrible, se fatal bueno los mods eran a un nivel superior a lo hicieron con este "remake", no vale la pena pagar por algo tan decadente y hecho sin ganas. No lo compren NO VALE LA PENA.
    Varios bugs.

Игры которые вошли в историю, те в которые мы играли все детство. И мне не жаль моих денег которые вы у меня забрали, мне жаль что вы стали от них настолько зависимыУж от кого, но от рокстара я такого не ожидал.     They somehow managed to take the mobile version of the game (not even the console or pc version) and make it even worse. Then they thought it would be a good idea to release it on non-mobile hardware and make it non-functional on PC temporarily, while simultaneously removing the original and much better versions of the games from sale. Avoid this at all costs.

    not expected from such a good company, literally broke up our nostalgia, 0/10 instead of jucing out gta 5 i would have got a better remaster than the one and removing many best mods

    Completely awful, unfinished and buggy mess. Cannot recommend it at all, i hope they'll work over it and fix it.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
