Nov 14, 2021They somehow managed to take the mobile version of the game (not even the console or pc version) and make it even worse. Then they thought it would be a good idea to release it on non-mobile hardware and make it non-functional on PC temporarily, while simultaneously removing the original and much better versions of the games from sale. Avoid this at all costs.

Nov 14, 2021Although I didn’t purchase the definitive edition, but I have classic GTASA and GTAVC in rockstar launcher, and the rockstar launcher version of the game is unplayable without downgrading to the 20 year old version, basically I have to patch it with a crack in order to play it, they are supposed to be the top, not joining EA and cdprojekt red.

Nov 14, 2021This is a buggy mess of a game that spits in the original trilogy legacy, worst of all, rockstar removed access to the older gta's completely, even if you bought them legally, this means everyone needs to resort to piracy or buying used hard copies of the game.

Dec 7, 2021Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

Dec 7, 2021I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

Nov 29, 2021Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
