    This is a disgrace it's a buggy mess and to think they removed good mods for this excuse if a game the character models are awful theres less content than in the original games no one would've cared if they left it for a few more months so it could be properly developed but this is a tragedy Read Dead 2 was really the end of an era for rockstar games

    When you think of Rockstar Games, you think of quality content. When you think of GTA, you think of the best game ever made. It's a best-selling game that broke a lot of records and R* deserved it.... But that was almost 10 years ago. The mindset has changed a lot and the result can be seen today in GTA: The Trilogy: Definitive Edition. The goal of this remaster was to bring the classicWhen you think of Rockstar Games, you think of quality content. When you think of GTA, you think of the best game ever made. It's a best-selling game that broke a lot of records and R* deserved it.... But that was almost 10 years ago. The mindset has changed a lot and the result can be seen today in GTA: The Trilogy: Definitive Edition. The goal of this remaster was to bring the classic titles to modern consoles and allow new players to enjoy the game as we did 20 years ago. But only in theory. What you get is actually not what you would expect from a GTA game, but the complete opposite. The graphics of the game seem new and beautiful for the first few minutes, but then you realize that the game hasn't been maintained at all. It's like "let's use Unreal because it has nice graphics, and just slap it on GTA III/VC/San Andreas" that's it. Sure, you can't just use a completely different engine, that requires some work.. Right? No, that's excatly how it looks like. All 3 games have the same bugs that you'd find in the original version of GTA. The remaster also introduced a lot of new bugs that just ruin the gameplay. The controls are really weird (especially in VC where it feels like you're playing the game on Stadia, Nvidia NOW, etc, but with a really bad internet connection). Some of the new textures are simply taken from GTA V, you can now see billboards with GTA: Online characters on them. A widescreen TV from the mid-2000s can now be found in GTA VC in Diaz mansion (the game is set in 1986).

    And much more. That's just the tip of the iceberg, there's a lot more to tell, but I think most of it can easily be found on social media.

    Would I recommend anyone to buy this game? No! If you really want to enjoy classic GTAs: find a PS2 and a copy of GTA Trilogy and enjoy the real masterpiece that R* created back in the good old days.    … Expand

    Id like to preface that I only played San-Andreas so far. I got about 7-8 hours in.

    This was a great opportunity to make these games "friendlier" and without stupid design decisions. Spent 20k dollars on weapons, grenades and car upgrades? Well once you die/get arrested, you can say bye to all of that. Parked a car before a cut-scene? Well say bye to that too. Left a car one street    Id like to preface that I only played San-Andreas so far. I got about 7-8 hours in.

    Left a car one street away? bye, bye!
    Seriously, there is so many issues with these games that people just overlooked because they were revolutionary for their times. In new or remastered games you at least expect some nice quality of life features.
    So the car upgrades are still useless because you're gonna lose your car before the mission.
    In some spots you can clearly see AI upscaled textures that look like impressionist paintings.

    Some of the improvements are not really improvements at all, when you buy new clothes in san andreas you get sort of a really bad preview of the item, like badly drawn shirts and shoes that don't show anything how the item actually looks. For example a green shoe is drawn like a white shoe.

    Not to mention the clipping of your clothes trough your character like chains and watches and hats.
    Just lots of bad things left over that was not fixed, certainly not a "definite" edition. More like lazy, lets use an AI from github that will upscale all the textures, draw a few of our own textures and thats it.

    Another "improvement" is glow around enemies, which is basically like some sort of hunter vision in other games, very ugly and immersion breaking.
    Some things got worse, the lifting minigame in the gym is pretty much broken and not a challenge at all.
    With the weakest CJ , you can lift the heaviest weights by just mashing e.

    Controls are bad and mouse support is pretty much non existent in the menus.
    This is a game where by default "T" key is cancel/go back operation in menus.
    What? I have a feeling the devs didn't play their game.

    I was playing on a rx480 and ryzen 3600 and the game ran at around 60fps at high. Not great for a game that looks like this. For example battlefield 4 I run at 144fps at high.

    Very disappointing, don't waste your money. I am giving 1/10 because now at least you can instantly restart a failed mission.    … Expand

This pathetic money grab of a port that a third grader playing with code would have done better. It's no longer "shame on Rockstar"—the house has simply fallen.

    The graphics, scenery and cars are very beautiful. And nothing else.

    That's no excuse for a large Rockstar company to sell 20 to 15 year old games with nice graphics for a price of a new AAA.

    Although it is a nice touch to re-release this games with various enhancements, it isn't worth 60$ by any means. It really feels like they threw some cheap shaders, models and texture mods, and that's all about it. It also has severe performance issues, bugs and glitches. Do not buy.

    This remaster seems very rushed an unfinished. Nirv worth the price tag. I would recommend waiting until all of the bugs are fixed before purchasing.

    Невероятно халтурный ремастер. Какие же рокстар конченые стали. Мододелов душат, при этом сами не в состоянии сделать нормальный продукт. Да они даже свой всратый магазин починить не в состоянии.

    1660ti全特效40帧，降低点特效60-70帧正常场景。GTA5线下我都能100帧左右。光影再吃配置，地平线5高画质也能80-90，光栅技术堪比光追。

    Sad they took the original version for this trash. Is just trash, filled with bugs, error and glitches plus a drawing distance that makes the game feels small. How they can ruin a game from the old 2000? Is just crazy. Disaster. Fix the games bro, Groove street studios sucks. Modders would’ve done a 20 times better job. Simply disaster and sad.

    Es exactamente el mismo juego pero con shaders, yo pensé que al ser una ‘’edición definitiva'' lo iban a hacer tan ci quiera un poco mejor pero no, no le agregaron ni mecánicas nuevas ni absolutamente nada y encima tienes más bugs que la versión original, la verdad no recomiendo pagar 60 pavos por 3 juegos de hace 20 años, lamentable en lo que se ha convertido rockstar.

    El peor por del mundo , sabiendo que el port en Android no es bueno lo usan como base y sobre todo en ves de quitar los bugs antiguos se quedaron y no conforme con el motor gráfico unreal engine ( es uno de los mejores ) provoca mas bugs muy nefastos y con diseñós de muy pero muy feos

    Fest of The pop-up. Only good in this game is soundtrack... Controll is terrible, from drive to shoot (on controller). Animations are terrible. Characters models are ugly :/ 1 points for sentiment. I dont recommend this game for anyone

    I purchased this game on the Xbox Series X. I was able to get a digital purchase refund from Microsoft within 5 minutes of making the refund request. There is no excuse for the trilogy being released in this state besides meeting some quarterly sales goal for investors. Take2 and Rockstar should have learned some lessons from the disastrous releases of Anthem, Cyberpunk and Warcraft in theI purchased this game on the Xbox Series X.     The game is not finished. There is a lot of bugs. Sometimes while driving you'll find invisible wall in the middle of the road, sometimes in cutscenes you'll get hit by a car, there are places you'll fall under the map, bad collision with fences, hard framerate drops. And this is what million dollar company gives us?

    The amount of bugs this game displays on PC is funny at first but you struggle to finish the game. Falling through the floor, driving through walls because of no collision, not driving through a floating texture because it has collision, just destroys the immersion. The devs should rework eveerything before releasing this game again. A delayed game can become good but a rushed game stays bad. So delay Rockstar. From missing collision, random bugs in cutscenes, floating textures which are extremely easy to find since freecam exists, cars exploding randomly, cars exploding too quickly when set on fire, being flung across the map randomly, cop and civilian vehicle spawning on par with Cyberpunk 2077's (cars will appear out of thin air right in front of you and cause you to crash, happened to me on multiple occasions.), vehicles floating in midair and glitches/bugs from the original still present in the remasters. (The island skip in 3 & Vice City still work from their PS2 counterparts) and structures missing when the collision for them is present. Some of the models look VERY bad, actually, most of them look god awful. Bad AI upscaling... I haven't scratched the surface on how bad these games were, thankfully even after a good 10+ hours of game time, I was issued a refund and if you own these games, I HIGHLY encourage you to get your money back unless you plan on waiting for the originals to return to the R* launcher. If you haven't purchased this game yet. DON'T. Save your £55. Get something with more passion and love put into it. Why did Rockstar use a mobile company with a terrible rep to make these games instead of the folks at North & Dundee? I have no idea.

    GTA Trilogy was always the favorite of GTA fans, but with GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition, it seems like Rockstar Games just haven't paid enough attention to bugs and glitches, also many characters have not been taken good care of. Although Rockstar's other games may be good, this remaster will leave a black spot on Rockstar's reputation forever.

Отвратительно кислотная цветовая гамма, уродливые пластилиновые 3d модели, вызвавшие бы даже у андройда чувство зловещей долины, обилие ненужных отражений и о Боже! Они добавили пальцы, но забыли, что они должны двигаться. Вся трилогия воспринимается, как эротический бред психически больной дамы, уже как 20 лет утратившей хоть какой-то намёк на свежесть, однако знатно задававшей жару в молодости. А что говорить об оптимизации. Игра фризит и тормозит даже на rtx 30-ой серии с включённым на баланс DLSS. Видимо тонны косметики мешают нашей даме правильно двигаться и ориентироваться в пространстве. Однако, если вы, как и я за естественную красоту, спешу вас огорчить - оригинальная трилогия больше не доступна для покупки. Правильно, зачем тупому быдлу, кем собственно и считает свою аудиторию Дарт Зельник, давать выбор. И на кого, по их мнению, вообще, рассчитана данная трилогия? На сферического в вакууме неискушенного школьника, зависающего в Fortnite 10-14 лет? Но зачем школьнику из Fortnite GTA? На людей, играющих в GTA Online? Но они уже приучены качественной, хоть и обветшалой по современным меркам графикой сетевого автоугонщика. Кому они собираются впаривать эту зловонную отрыжку капитализма? Создается впечатление, что издатель понимая, что и за какие смешные деньги он создал, в большей степени рассчитывал привлечь внимание к игре как к шоу уродов на которое скучающая публика придет поглядеть на досуге, чтобы испытать экзистенциальный ужас осознания жесточайшего надругательства над великой классикой. А вы бы хотели посмотреть на то, как крестного отца удаляют из каталогов онлайн-кинотеатров подменяя легкого содержания ситкомом? Можно много чего ещё написать, вспомнить другие проекты Rockstar со специфической стилистикой, вроде Chinatown wars, а больше ничего в голову не приходит. И это сравнение не выдержит никакой критики. Ничего не изменится покуда люди будут покупать подобные продукты и поощрять донатные замашки крупных издателей, либо просто попадая в ловушку донатной зависимости. They are one of the richest developer and they cannot even relicense the soundtracks. The graphics, animations, and character models are the worst part of this remaster even though the environments are decent. I just dont understand how they thought this would be good for the PC, why not just do a remake over a remaster.     I thought it is impossible to make remaster worse than warcraft 3 refunded, but rockstar did it. This game is even worse. Low fps, all old bugs + tons of new, horrible compressed sounds, and cherry on a cake - new models and textures generated by ml. Looks really bad

    Let's talk first about their graphical improvement. The games indeed look "cool", with loads of lights, and Vice City in my opinion looking to be the best    According to Rockstar, GTA: The Trilogy features “across-the-board upgrades” including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while “still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals”.

    Let's talk first about their graphical improvement. The games indeed look "cool", with loads of lights, and Vice City in my opinion looking to be the best remaster. But, at the same time, there are lots of typos on store fronts, one characater in San Andreas has the number of his shirt changed while you can still see the old one below it. The NPCS in Vice City look stunning, the new Tommy Vercetti model actually does fit the overall graphical style. In San Andreas however, the HUD icons look absolutely putrid, and most characters are unfinished, something that is not acceptable at this day and age, specially for a hefty price tag of $59.99. GTA III remaster feels like no improvement at all, the shaders look very dark, almost impossible to tell what indeed changed.

    And then comes the really important part of any game, the gameplay and performance. And both are absolutely horrible. The animations are clunky, the aiming is painful, driving is garbage. The UI for clothing and weapons store are the same as decades ago. Even worse is the performance, the abuse of lights with no pre-rendered textures, ruins the entire driving experience, as you have constant stuttering along your way, and combat in those areas with many lights along with the painful aiming and mechanics make it very unpleasant to play.

    Putting the graphics aside, there is nothing that would make you really play the remastered edition. Why suffer from all of the performance issues and clunky controls, just to play with nicer graphics? There would be more enjoyment by playing the originals instead. Rockstar knowing this would happen, pulled the originals from all stores, while also taking down many graphical mprovement mods. It is their right?Yes, but it just shows how afraid they are if people could have a better experience with their old games, then people wouldn't buy their new remastered editions.

    At this point I can't recommend anyone to buy this, specially for $59.99. This would be barely acceptable at $19.99, but still is unplayable.    … Expand

    Another example of greedy billion dollar game companies releasing low effort content to milk dry our favorite franchises. Rockstar's name used to carry weight, and was synonymous with being cutting edge & the best there is in gaming.. Not so much any more.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
