    This trilogy is a disgrace to all Rockstar fans that grew up playing these games.Full of bugs,glitches,horrible looking characters and no attention to detail. The studio that was working on these remasters Grove Street Games (former War Drum Studio) also worked on the mobile and Xbox 360 ports of San Andreas which was one of the worst butchering of a game ever and they butchered them evenThis trilogy is a disgrace to all Rockstar fans that grew up playing these games.Full of bugs,glitches,horrible looking characters and no attention to detail.     This DEmaster is the laziest piece of crap I have ever seen. Filled with so many stupid mistakes that could have been easily fixed if just one person gave a damn about the final product, or even the source material. Seriously it feels like a babys first unity project. If you want to know just how bad it is, just look up the """RAIN""" effect on some videos, absolutely unforgivable.

    This is purely a review of the gta sa remaster.

    I was already afraid of gta sa being a remaster of the ps3/xbox version and sadly i was right. So many elements are dumbed down like the gym. You cant fly out of the map and you see a white line when you reach the end of the map. There are so many bugs and might be even more then the original one like invisible bridges. but hey at least    This is purely a review of the gta sa remaster.

    Ok, so this is just based on the mobile version, which itself is a port of the old PC version, which was ported from the Xbox which is just another port of the PS2. But you most likely won´t be able to tell - at least for now - because they pulled it from the store as they managed to include uncompiled code and dev notes. Oh, and unlicensed music - at least the files are still there.     I didn´t expect 2021 graphics but slapping on some reflections and smoothing out some edges won´t cut it either. And the rain. The rain. It is atrocious. It moves with you, it seemingly doesn´t work correctly over water, I fear to get seizures from it when I look to long at it. Floating objects, invisible bridges, broken missions (VC - gunrunner) it is all there.
    The SA character models are great - if you like Lovecraftian horrors that is. The flying controls (helicopters and partially the jetpack) are a beautiful lesson on ergonomic design - at least if you are part of the populace which has three hands. If you missed out on warcraft reforged, Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk this game is a must have - so you at least can be part of THIS spectacular faecal fiesta. In a true heroic fashion R*/GSG delivered a limbo dance and managed to slip UNDER the bar of my non-existing expectations obviously using a shovel - or an excavator. Damn... this "remaster" is just bad.
    Maybe I would rate it a 1 (or a 2 for the meme-potential) but at the moment I can´t play the games I paid for any more. So yes, tis is a 0 - literally unplayable. I knew I probably would get a turd when I bought this abomination but R* failed to deliver even that. I am not even mad. This is just hilarious. "Ah **** we go again" has become a staple for the whole triple A cesspool and I love it!    … Expand

    they banned the mods, removed original games from stores, cut out many music tracks, made ugly cartoonish characters, all three games are filled with bugs, it's based on poor mobile ports, basically the old game with new lightning and lazy AI upscaled textures, and yes they're charging 60$ for it, a shame

    This games were clearly rushed and quality definitely was not in their best interest. Youre better off with the classic and find some graphic mods most of them are better than what you see in the remaster.     Shameless cashgrab, not only they somewhat ruined the graphics by creating these cartoony character models in contrast to realistic enviroments, they didn't understand that the base game needed fog for making the map appear large. Removed fog just makes the map looks small and underwhelming, you're not supposed to see mount chilliad from every place on the map...

    Some missions are just broken because of that like plane clearly sitting in place in 1 mission ruining the entire scene immersion.
    They also managed to screw controls even more, there is visible lag when jumping over obstacles and camera sensitivity in Y axis is way too low, making it only possible to looks to your sides but not up and down.    … Expand

Управление сделано максимально ужасно, наверное, даже хуже, чем вНу, что сказать? Работа над графикой проведена, а также... На этом, к сожалению, всё. Из плюсов: увеличена дальность прорисовки, качество текстур, а также более проработанная растительность. Мини-карта стала более понятной: можно поставить метку и проложить путь. Из минусов: отвратительное качество озвучки и управление. Управление сделано максимально ужасно, наверное, даже хуже, чем в оригинале. Новые тени слишком сильно режут глаза. Озвучка режет уши. Управление сделано заторможено, криво. Стрельба не переработана. Осталась такой же: без отдачи и пластмассовой. Складывается ощущение, что игра сделана на своём оригинальном движке. В плане графики ещё один косяк: хорошо, что появилось объёмное небо, увеличилась дальность прорисовки, трава, текстуры. Однако, это смотрится неравномерно, при взгляде на пластилиновые модели и угловатые дороги. В общем и целом, за графику, и то, не удалось похвалить ремастер. 3 из 10… Expand

    If T2 and Rockstar Games didn't need the money, they would have made a good remaster, but the reality is upsetting.

    Remastered is not same thing against remake. Graphics are awesome but optimization is not good at all. This is a remastered version of gta games i think it did a good job.

    At the end of it i can say if you think this is not a new game just old gta games with new graphics then you will enjoy the game but if you want a new experience like a new gta game then you'll get disappointed.    … Expand

    Added 2 points for music. A terrible game, when you want to feel the atmosphere of the game, you are greeted by bugs, many bugs due to which you lose missions. Due to one bug, I cannot complete the mission "Arms Dealer". I didn't feel any emotions when I passed. I am silent about the price and faces of the characters.

    Exactly what I expected, I don't understand the negative reviews, it was clearly said that it's not a remake and just a remaster.     A lot of bugs + crashed a bunch of times gameplay has not been changed and graphics got worse . the only positive change was the weapon wheel which is basically a mod. overall, it doesn't worth 60$ and is just a cash grab

    Biggest disappointment of the year so far. I could live with the bad models and the rest of the graphics problems of the remasters, but besides bad graphics, the games has just a bunch of technical problems. Optimization is awfull and they're just full of bugs. And knowing who was involved in these remasters, I don't even have any hope for patches.

    Really awful cash grabber. Most aspects are just ruined, colors are awful, no weather effects like sun blinks, awful color temperature. All “film like” picture is now ruined, it looks like 1$ steam game made in 2 hours

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
