    Disbelief that they asked for almost PLN 300 for it.
    For many, it is 2-3 working days. I do not recommend supporting such producers, I recommend that you buy the game from another manufacturer or use your money for a purpose other more valuable than this game.

    An insulting and shameless cashgrab. Bruh... i don't even hate it. I looked forward to play this remasteres, even when all the decisions behind just were the most stupid ones. Like porting the entire trilogy to unreal engine. A game engine that if certainly can handle open world systems, a better decision would have been just porting the games to RAGE (rockstar advanced game engine) wichAn insulting and shameless cashgrab. A game engine that if certainly can handle open world systems, a better decision would have been just porting the games to RAGE (rockstar advanced game engine) wich has already been created with the gta series and it's open world systems in mind. But of course.. they wouldn't made a proper remake of the trilogy on a game engine with all these open world systems and capabilities ready to bascically drag and drop. Make new 3D models of the characters that are important in the story and reuse gta v pedestrians, for example.. along all the geometry from gta v for the recreation of the worlds.
    They didn't made that because it was cheaper to contract War Drum Studios (grove street games since august of 2020) a third party studio that makes mobile games and has a past porting the gta series to mobile devices... with not great results either. This people don't have experience with RAGE nor will because it's a third party studio, and not formerly a rockstar afiliate, and that's why the gta trilogy remastered has been ported to the unreal engine 4 and not remade it in the already perfect fit for an engine, RAGE, in a proper series remake.
    I mean in 2020 we had Mafia definitive trilogy wich was a full blown remake that looks way beyond expectations, at least for the first game in the series that came out in 2002, but they also made actual remasters of mafia II and III that just adds visual fidelity features, but needs no more that that. come on.     O jogo esta bonito porém vice city e 3 com o som do San Andreas, nada foi alterado nos menu. GTA San Andreas contendo bugs em cima de bugs. Mapas tudo da cor do San Andreas ícones e sons. removeram a maioria das câmeras do game. sinceramente o de Playstation 2 continua sendo melhor

    I would absolutely have no problem with this cheap attempt to cash in on fans if they didn't remove the original releases from all other platforms.     Do we have a negative score to give? To say it was badly ported would mean they actually tried to do something there but what I saw was just a three amazing games that should have not been touched at all by some small, inexperienced studio that produced three **** remastered games and an infinite number of memes. GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas deserve a remake not a remaster.

    This game is absolute trash, nothing new, it deserved better than just a re-texture. Bugs and glitches everywhere, bad optimisation and more. I would've never guessed that this is an official rockstar product.

    Grand Theft Auto is one my of favourite all time franchises, where they consistently raised the bar with each and every release. However, that has all come undone with the release of Grand Theft Auto: Definitive Edition. Firstly, the game looks like a mobile game.     Firstly, the game looks like a mobile game. They have somehow taken any form of "realism" out of the GTA universe and cartoonised it entirely. It no longer feels like I am CJ, a Grove Street gangster running the streets of San Andreas, but instead, a plasticine imitation of what I should have been.

    The game runs appallingly bad. Even on my RTX 3080 and i9 CPU, I will get 4-5 fps any time I unpause from the menu. The only redeeming factor of this game is that the lighting does look pretty.

    The weapon wheel is a nice addition, but aiming is so clunky using controller. It is impossible to switch between enemies at all. Frequently I will die because I cannot aim at the next target. I have had to resort putting the controller down and using keyboard and mouse for any missions that I need to aim for.

    Certain aspects just look downright dreadful. What is with the rain effect?? It is IMPOSSIBLE to play the game whilst it is raining. Also, why have they removed the fog entirely?? I was always under the illusion that San Andreas was a MASSIVE map, but as soon as they removed the fog it looks the same size as the airport in GTA 5.

    Speaking of which, where has some of the nice effects gone? The heat waves in the desert have just disappeared, the tyre smoke when doing a burnout is jet black, there is no water mist when hovering a helicopter over any water. This stuff has just been omitted entirely?

    Some characters have just taken a step back entirely in terms of design. Almost every NPC is a whacky Sim-like character with butter smooth skin, drawn on eyebrows, and lifeless faces. No longer does OG Loc look like a wannabe gangster, or Ryder look like Eazy-E.

    Apart from a weapon wheel and radio wheel, there have been no QOL improvements at all. You can't get in cover (whilst enemies can), shoot around corners, what's even the point in buying guns or modifying cars? Just so that when I die they can all disappear?

    I spent thousands on upgrading my car, I die it disappears. I walk away a bit too far, it disappears. I lose a mission, it disappears. I go in to somewhere, it disappears. Couldn't they have added a garage or inventory system??

    The same applies for guns too. It's tedious having to go back to ammunation and having to buy all my guns AGAIN every time. Why can't I just keep the guns and minimal ammo, and just have to buy ammo again?

    Character models are all out of whack. What is even with this?

    Not only that, but I paid £55 for this game, and it requires me to be connected to the internet to play....?? They removed the original GTA's off Steam so you cannot purchase them anymore. And then they have the audacity to take the Rockstar Launcher offline so I can't access the game. And then when they bring it online again they REMOVE THE GAME FROM MY LIBRARY so I cannot play it??!? It's honestly a joke, and borderline scam.

    I glady refunded the game and got my money back. I will never buy a Rockstar game on release again. I will rather wait for the reviews just to see how badly they messed up next time.

    How can anyone at Rockstar, Grove Street Games, or even Take2 be proud of this mess? It's an embarrassment and has royally tarnished Rockstar's reputation.    … Expand

    En resumen Rockstar Games lo hizo por las puras el remake de GTA . Vamos hace 8 años hizo GTA 5 creí que así en ese tiempo hasta el 2021 hiciera GTA 6 o algún juego o remake. Vamos los GTA de la PS2 tenían sus bugs pero no afectaban mucho la experiencia al jugar, pero en este juego arruina toda la experiencia. ¿Qué es esto? Cyberpunk 1992.

    Lo peor es que quitaron los mods.

    Халтура. Оцените как Resident Evil сделали ремастеринг, вот там все очень хорошо. Тут просто, решили заработать денег на продажи старой легендарной игры и даже не постарались перевести игру на новый движок, такой как GTA 5

Rockstar games took down numerous community made mods for the original games that where of much higher guality than the remakes in an attempt to make their remake better. В теории на условные 3 из 10 за счёт рабочего ядра в виде той самой гта которую все знают ремастеры вытягиваются.     The "Definitive Edition" failed to:

    1- Renew the music licensing & preserve the amazing selection of radio songs that the trilogy used to include back in the day which are a core part of the experience.

    2- Apparently there's NO FOG anymore! which means the whole map looks way too small even though it's supposed to feel big. (The same applies to clouds, & I think they did this to showcase to people the increased draw distance.. But that's still wrong. You can have both visual effects & a better draw distance!)

    3- The iconic color tint shading of the original games is now GONE! everything looks way saturated... (GTA SA used to have orange/yellow shading everywhere. GTA III used to have dark blueish grey. GTA Vice City had a pink/purple look to it)

    4- The orange god ray lighting of GTA SA when you look at the sun is now GONE! The original light trails of GTA III for whenever you looked at cars or bright lights are now gone!

    5- The characters look way too cartoony, plastic-y & out of touch with the edgy style of storytelling that the games used to have...

    6- The games didn't patch older bugs. (INFACT... they introduced numerous new ones!)

    7- Character animations have not been upscaled in smoothness & realism. They're still PS2 like which is just way too lazy if you ask me. (They should've added more smoothness to those animations but still preserve their art style)

    8- Voice lines & SFX have not been upscaled in audio quality for whatever reason! they sound like they have low bit rate. (EVEN THOUGH.. you can literally listen to them in HIGHER BIT RATE/QUALITY if you emulate the 20YO PS2 versions on PC! ... I have no idea how is this even possible.)

    9- Unsolved Easter eggs that people tried to look deep into & built websites & forums to try & solve have not been clarified in any shape or form. they're still as ambiguous as ever.

    10- the list probably goes on...

    Keep in mind that they went out of their way to SUE THEIR FANS by shutting down & DMCA-Claiming community-built free software that their fans have built & kept alive for years to cherish these games but instead sued those who were the BIGGEST FANS OF THIS SERIES for simply "reverse engineering" their "intellectual property" that they're not even selling anymore.

    That's how disgusting, relentless & unworthy Rockstar is.    … Expand

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
