    This game is not made by Rockstar, but by GSG. Everything looks cheap, is full of bugs, GTA SA sounds on GTA 3/VC menus, full of bugs, 0 attention to details, the subtitles and the UI looks very ugly, it's like a homework made by a child without any motivation.

    I was f***ed in my childhood. Thank you rockstar games, f***ing thank you. Mod for graphics for 60 bucks, well done Rockstar. No, I understand that this is just a remaster, but the game mechanics are so outdated that in 2021 the graphics update alone is not worth $ 60, in any way. If I want to remember my youth, I'd rather play the original than this.

I had suspicions when this remake was announced just a couple of months before the release, but for some reason I had hope. Now it's gone. Models look awful and strangely plastic-like, bugs were preserved and multiplied. And on top of that they had an audacity to remove the original versions.     This remaster seems very rushed an unfinished. Nirv worth the price tag. I would recommend waiting until all of the bugs are fixed before purchasing.

    Same old gameplay mechanics, it's just not worth our money, there is no new mechanics. Good scenery textures, great lights, but bad character modeling. It is not a new gen game.

    This game is quite literally a scam. Regardless of how bad the remaster actually is. I can’t think of any game ever releasing, letting you play for 2 days before completely removing it while running off with your money and completely wasting your time. Genuinely need to be sued

Apesar de o mapa ser pequeno, cada região tinha sua característica, San Andreas era ensolarada, San Fierro era composta por um clima mais nublado, Las Ventura era ensolarada e bem iluminada a noite, entre outros diversos detalhes.

    Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico    Atmosfera, era um dos principais pontos do jogo em relação ao gráfico. Apesar de o mapa ser pequeno, cada região tinha sua característica, San Andreas era ensolarada, San Fierro era composta por um clima mais nublado, Las Ventura era ensolarada e bem iluminada a noite, entre outros diversos detalhes.

    Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico acabou ficando com características desagradáveis e desequilibradas como sombras totalmente escuras, iluminação totalmente clara, sem um equilíbrio no contraste, e isso, em todas as regiões do mapa. Além disso, todo o visual ganhou um tom muito saturado.

    O draw distance está ampliado, porem, sem sensação de profundidade, tudo muito nítido passando um ar surrealista. Isso, pois na realidade o horizonte tem partículas, neblina, que impedem a visualização nítida da paisagem a distância.

    É possível perceber que certos horários no jogo chegam a quase ter um equilíbrio no contraste luz e sombra, porem isso varia muito, mostrando uma falta de atenção nos detalhes, tendo então um visual inconsistente.

    Vale ressaltar que mudanças aconteceram na primeira versão de pc, onde na versão de playstation 2 existia um clima mais alaranjado e na de pc não. Porem, mesmo diferente, a alteração manteve uma boa atmosfera, diferente desta nova versão remasterizada.

    Posso dizer que se fosse outro jogo, como, por exemplo, um indie, o gráfico em si não seria tão ruim, porem, é um jogo icônico, e de uma empresa multimilionária.    … Expand

Gelinde gesagt ein sehr hinkender Vergleich, da es nicht vergleichbar ist.     Ich habe heute einen Kritik eines Renommierten deutschen Computerspiele Magazins gelesen, welches die Definitiv Edition mit Filmen verglichen hat. Gelinde gesagt ein sehr hinkender Vergleich, da es nicht vergleichbar ist. Aber dieser Vergleich auf den ich in den Folgenden Zeilen eingehen werde, hat mich dazu bewegt diese schlechte 4/10 zu geben. Man kann sagen was man will, aber verglichen mit guten Filmen, die Zeitlos sind und "gut altern" sind alle GTA Spiele, die vor Teil 4 erschienen sind, wirklich schlecht gealtert. Ich denke, Rockstar dachte sich dabei, wie kann man den alten Charm der sehr beliebten Teile in neuem Gewand einem Jüngeren Publikum präsentieren? Mit einer aufgehübschten Grafik und einer etwas besseren Steuerung. Aber ist das gelungen? Die Antwort lautet nein. Klar, die Optik wurde stark aufgebohrt, aber trotz der Scharfen Texturen und der nicht Kantigen Kurven wirkt das Spiel nach wie vor Altbacken und es ist immer noch ein schlecht gealtertes Spiel in neuem Gewand. Klar, die Steuerung der Fahrzeuge ist um längen bessre als die des Originals und das neue Waffenrad ist auch nicht schlecht, aber all das ist nicht genug. Um ehrlich zu sein, sieht man hier einen sehr Lieblos hingeworfenen versuch, die alte stärke neu aufleben zu lassen. Ich möchte auch soweit gehen und sagen, dieses Lieblos dahin geworfene Spiel zeigt, dass man zu viele Ressourcen auf GTA Online verschwendet und den Kern der Serie hoffnungslos vernachlässigt.
    Eine bitte an Rockstar, schaut euch an was Hangar 13 mit der Mafia: Definitive Edition auf die Beine gestellt hat, so muss ein Remake aussehen (und ja ich sage bewusst Remake, da die GTA Definitive Edition durch den Engin Wechsel ebenfalls ein Remake ist). Bei Mafia wurde genau das gemacht, was sich die Fans wünschen ein unglaublich guten Klassiker der Videospiele Geschichte in Modernen Gewand neu aufleben zu lassen (und seien wir mal ehrlich, Mafia 1 ist genauso schlecht gealtert wie die besagten GTA Spiele)

    Mein Apell an Rockstar:

    Findet zu der alten Stärke zurück und ruht euch nicht auf euren Onlineablegern aus. Ihr habt welche der besten Singleplayer Spiele der Videospielegeschichte Programmiert und Designt, hört bitte nicht damit auf.
    Und wenn ihr schon ein Remake macht, dann macht das Remake bitte richtig und nicht so lieblos.    … Expand

    Never pay for a game thats $60 without actually being shown gameplay. Rockstar had no issues showing off a one minute trailer that just cutscenes, but for some reason they didnt want to show off the "modern" "new gameplay" That is a big problem in gaming. And you would think Rockstar learned from CDPR and the whole Cyberpunk fiasco.

    All Rockstar did, was take down the original games from digital store fronts before anyone else could buy them. They also shut down modders as well for some reason, even though companies like Bethesda supports the modding scene, because it keeps the games alive after people get done beating said games.

    Rockstar outsourced this to the same mobile game company who did the original iSO remasters. except that company took the mods and texture packs Rockstar had taken down, and put those into this game. They couldn't even be bothered to actually remaster these games. Rockstar literally makes millions of dollars a day from their pay 2 win games like GTA Online and Red Dead 2 Online. Dont believe me how much they make? According to a study by NetBet, GTA 5 generated about $911 million (roughly Rs 6,761 crores) in 2020. When broken down, this number comes in at about $2.5 million (roughly Rs 18.5 crores) per day! That is $1,733 (roughly Rs 1,28,600) per minute!

    They censored the games because of sensitive people, They didn't want to pay for licensing to bring back music tracks even though they have the money to do so. These are PS2 games and they drop under 20 fps......The clipping and textures popping in and out are everywhere. None of the controls are modern ether. These are literally the same games from the iPhone store that came out many years ago with just player made mods, textures and horrible lighting.

Its not worth 60$ so therefore i will refund it and buy it at a discounted price.

    i bought these games only for the nostalgic, just seeing the texture updates and lightning updates on GTA VC made me smile. So this clearly breaks my heart.
    Release time for me was 2 PM, and i couldn't download it until about 5 PM. So after all that wait i played a few hours with joy then it was immediately taken down, thanks a lot Rockstar. Last time i preorder any of your products that's for sure.    … Expand

    The PC release was much better, for the 3 hours I got to experience it before the launcher was taken down for "maintenance".

    The maintenance is now over, and the game is no longer able to purchase, or play, even though I pre-ordered the game. It was totally removed from my library because they rushed their launch and somehow included files that weren't supposed to be there, because there was literally no quality control at all. I guess that's what you get when a studio known for the horrible mobile ports is responsible for this mess, and a publisher that only cares about shark card revenue these days. I wonder why the producers of GTA left R* Games.

    The audio quality is horrible. Did R* somehow lose the master recordings? They certainly didn't record the audio on a potato. As a matter of fact, the audio we were given is the original compressed audio, compressed again for some reason. The 10th anniversary edition has better quality audio. I guess it's up to the fans to fix that though.

    The graphics are great, sometimes. They are very inconsistent. Some characters look great, others look extremely messed up. The rain effect is horrible. It looks like the equivalent of a snapchat filter.

    The environment in San Andreas in particular feels very different. Some of the effects were totally messed up, such as the NOS effect. The blur effect is literally what made the NOS feel like you were going faster. The lack of clouds makes flying feel very weird, and also being on tall buildings as you can see the other cities without a problem. When in the air, or on a skyscraper, you can see just how square the map is because there is no fog at all, it makes it feel very unnatural in contrast to the original release.

    This review was based on 3 hours of gameplay. I wish I could have gave a more thorough review, but they took the game away from me.    … Expand

O jogo apresenta, além dos bugs antigos que não foram concertados, bugs novos que só tem nesta versão! O upgrade gráfico é ok, nada mais que isso. A aparência dos personagens é medonha, parecem feitos à lápis! Enfim, estragaram os clássicos jogos com promessas deInfelizmente a Rockstars Games, ou por pressão da TK2 ou por mercenarismo próprio mesmo, fez este jogo visando somente o lucro!     Como pode um jogo do inicio dos anos 2000, rodar a 30 FPS em um console de ultima geração. No minimo desde a versao do PS4 base deveria rodar com tudo no maximo. ja vimos outros remaster que fizeram muito mais que esse.

    qualidade das texturas esta horrivel, GTA v roda muito melhor nos consoles da 8° geração doque esse dos anos 2000. isso mostra que a empresa que fez esse port não    Como pode um jogo do inicio dos anos 2000, rodar a 30 FPS em um console de ultima geração.     Although it is a nice touch to re-release this games with various enhancements, it isn't worth 60$ by any means. It really feels like they threw some cheap shaders, models and texture mods, and that's all about it. It also has severe performance issues, bugs and glitches. Do not buy.

    Eles lançaram o jogo com bugs já antigos e novos bug após esse remastered. Não vale a pena comprar, os 3 jogos estão totalmente bugados. Algumas coisas estão ok, mas há muito mais coisas negativas do que positivas!!

    It's incredible that Rockstar is asking $60 for this disaster. These games did not deserve the very low effort that was put into them. The worst thing of all is that they pulled the OG games from Steam and their mods, just to sell us this mess.

    It's disappointing that the best Take Two can do is cash in on nostalgia, when the stuff they've been unearthing from years ago is proof that they were once capable of lasting masterpieces.

    I got through III without much issue but Vice City is simply broken. Super disappointed with this game. The new graphics are cool but the novelty wears out fast, especially when you can't progress because a mission is broken.

    This "definitive edition" is such a dumpster fire you are better off playing the original ports, BUT WAIT! Rockstar delisted the original ports (on top of suing modders that were fixing them) to capitalize on this cash grab, so if you didn't already own them you are out of legal options to play the pc versions of these games in any respectable manner. THANKS ROCKSTAR!!!

    They knew damn well that this remaster was hot garbage, removing the old games from Steam and then only having the original and the "remasters" on their own store so they can avoid the refund policy Steam has.
    Not to mention avoid all the negative reviews on there.

    o jogo tá cheio de bugs e removeram a versão de pc, e é bastante caro. eu gastei 300 conto para um jogo que nem funciona direito, que tá cheio de bugs, e que removeram. minha nota é 0 (the game is bugs and they removed the pc version, and it's quite expensive.     It's buggy! Looks ugly, especially high contrast scenes where everything is extra dark.
    Rockstar games should hire all those moders that have done much more professional work if compare with this lazy remaster

    Most people care about the bugs, but I care more about what the game will be once they fix the bugs - the original game with a few new textures. That's it.     They took the mobile port (already the worst version of these games) and added off-putting, shiny, and inconsistent graphics on top. And then got them to perform worse than on mobile or 360/PS3.

    The MASSIVE amount of graphical bugs and among other types.

    (But what about the strengths?).

    The graphics, scenery and cars are very beautiful. And nothing else.

    (But this is a remaster, not a remake).

    That's no excuse for a large Rockstar company to sell 20 to 15 year old games with nice graphics for a price of a new AAA.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
