    A glitchy mobile port has been modded under the name 'Definitive Edition'. A huge lie by rockstar. Glitchy graphics, poor performance, **** embarrassing rain effect, barely tested, barely refined, overlaps of a huge variation of bugs, you can easily tell how little care and effort went into it. OG titles deserve way better remasters if not a full remake of each, but these small mobile-ishA glitchy mobile port has been modded under the name 'Definitive Edition'. A huge lie by rockstar.     You could made so many things better with this remaster like: improving AI, Physics and Handling of vehicles, improved mission design. But instead you chose to add like GPS to the games. Horrible textures too. Keep using AI and you will find out why people hate Take Two. Also screw Rockstar and Take Two.

Накатили пользовательских модов на графон(похоже самые убогие, так как есть моды с более крутой графикой), на не плохом железе вечно какие-то фризы, может не понятно от чего вылетать.     Worst remaster ever! 4500 rubles for such a hack? I'd rather go over the old versions for the hundredth time than ruin all my pleasant nastolgic feelings for this series of games.

    First, I don't care that it's the same game as from 15 years ago, I think they needed a remaster, and I believe this version did the job very well initially. Some of the models were of questionable quality but overall the game was rather impressive. What irritates me is the launch and how it was treated.

    3. The PC version was and still IS unplayable because of Rockstar's own neglect.
    4. The launcher was down for THIRTY SOLID HOURS with only TWO updates.
    5. The PS5 version was available WAY too early, to the point where it had to be pulled.
    6. Xbox players had to wait even longer because of a mishap on Microsoft's part.
    7. The performance was abysmal when there was nothing going on, even on formidable hardware.
    7a. I'm able to run FORZA HORIZON 5 on high and still get 60fps but I can't run this on even a hybrid medium high?
    8. San Andreas still has garbage audio quality when Rockstar should've fixed it like they did with Vice City and GTA 3.
    9. I found myself unable to even play Vice City because the launcher went down.
    10. I'm still unable to get a refund and as of the time of writing Rockstar has yet to read my support ticket.

    And there's still WAY more reasons as to why I gave this a low score. Has nothing to do with the fact that it's old games being re-released again, it solely has to do with Rockstar not giving a rats ass about it.    … Expand

    This remaster is an absolute disrespect towards the gta nostalgics. Games is fulla bugs and glitches, the graphics isn't necessary bad but it is awkward and the art direction for this remaster just feels weird. And therefore, it is by no means an faithful recreation of the original games' experience. Do not buy this, do not play this, it is not worth your money and it is not worth your time.

    Jogo mal prodruzido, em varios segmentos, Quase sem muitas mudanças. E um preço abusivo, cujo é interamente cheio de glitch, prejudicando e impossibitando a gameplay. porém em meio a tantos problemas o mais grave é a modelagem dos personagens, alguns até tirando sua essência dos gta's clássicos.
    Foram jogos que revolucionou o mercado de games, e hoje se encontra estragado.

There are mission bugs, particularly in VC’s Gun Runner. The frame rate is inconsistent at best, dropping the most drastically when it begins to rain. The rain is also unbearable. In GTA 3, it isThere are bugged textures left and right. In GTA 3, it is just shy of impossible to see when it’s raining. They’re white streaks that cover the entire screen, being more akin to TV static than actual rain. In VC and SA, the issue doesn’t seem to be quite as intolerable, but nonetheless they are still just white streaks flying across the screen instead of something that actually resembles rain drops. You could go through the r/GTA or r/GTATrilogy for 5 minutes and spot 30 bugs players have found, which vary from immersion breaking to game breaking. There are removed songs and animations in each game, the most egregious of the animations being everything muscular CJ does now. And as far as missing songs goes, the company that made this game has amassed an unbelievable amount of wealth, and it’s nothing but laziness and greediness to not work out licensing for the ACTUAL DEFINITIVE SOUNDTRACK. The games’ audio received almost no polish. It seems the only thing actually done to change these games from what they were before is the graphical appearance. When these games were current, they were the best looking PS2 era games around. With the “Definitive” editions just released, they are still nothing more than the best looking PS2 era games. The only changes to make gameplay any smoother are the free camera, and free camera drive by controls. By today’s standards, GTA 3 is next to unplayable. Nothing about it feels good. It was a chore to complete, and it’s a game from my childhood that I have incredibly fond memories of. I even go back and play the original version once every 2 or 3 years, along with VC and SA. These games deserved improvements to make them appeal to the generation that didn’t get the chance to play them when all the hype surrounded them. Instead, we’ve gotten 3 bug ridden messes from a studio that already ruined the 10 year anniversary edition of, arguably, everybody’s favorite game, San Andreas (I prefer VC for the story, and SA for gameplay). If changes aren’t made VERY soon to fix performance issues, and eliminate the dozens of bugs players are coming across, I think the legacy of these games will be tarnished, and the reputation of all companies involved will be questioned of laziness and greed. tl;dr: It’s a rushed mess. It is incredibly apparent they needed at least another 2 months to have the games properly built. And now, instead, we’re going to have to wait and hope that they add patches that we should’ve never had to wait for in the first place.… Expand

They butchered SA, completely ruined its atmosphere, weather effects and some how even removed graphics like grass and low lying fog, it is just embaresing. With the Trilogy it's like they plastered a layer of plastisine over everything and added a ton off bugs..     Dont buy this. Within my first hour of gameplay I came across countless character bugs and texture issues, some parts of the map have clipping disabled so you just fall through the ground into a void. The NPC's are somehow worse than the original game. They removed a bunch of songs from the radio as well. This remaster is a testimate to how greedy rockstar has become.     where to start with this? clearly the launch of this game/s was a reminder that the rockstar games launcher is a burden when it comes to accessing your games. i couldnt even access my other single player games from the launcher while it was down because rockstar decided to pull the trilogy. and then they have the audacity to call it maintenance. DONT SUPPORT THESE PPL, BOYCOTT ROCKSTAR.

They also took down the OG versions of the games. All for a broken terrible re-release cash grab.     There is a significant number of issues with this game visually. Barely any kind of quality of life or other improvements were added. A lot of what we see in the open world, across the titles, feels lazily done.

    This is a very poor remaster. In fact it feels odd to even call it a remaster, as it feels rather like a very poor mobile port targeting mobile hardware from the mid 2010's.    There is a significant number of issues with this game visually. Barely any kind of quality of life or other improvements were added. A lot of what we see in the open world, across the titles, feels lazily done.

    This is a very poor remaster. In fact it feels odd to even call it a remaster, as it feels rather like a very poor mobile port targeting mobile hardware from the mid 2010's. It's such a sad effort. It should never have been made if this was what they were gunning for, and there's no way this collection is worth more than about $15.

    I rate it at 3/10 because despite how atrocious the porting / remastering job was, they're still three great video games in their own right. Thank goodness I was able to secure a refund.    … Expand

    - A densidade de NPC/Veiculos foi reduzida (devido ao porte mobile), excluindo o GTA 3.
    -Os jogos antigos foram tirados das lojas. -A Rockstar colocou no próprio launcher, impedindo reviews de usuários. -Quedas de FPS e Stutter em TODAS as plataformas    Minha opinião é: -GTA TRILOGY é baseado nos ports mobile dos três jogos, sendo assim, inclui todos os mesmos bugs e coisas esquisitas.

    -Neblina totalmente removida, não existe senso de escala. O Mount Chillad pode ser visto da Grove Street, além do formato quadrado do mapa poder ser visto quando numa altura regular.
    -Alguns terrenos simplesmente não tem colisão
    - Co Op local do GTA SA removido
    - vista de cima do GTA 3 removida
    - ossos digitais não existem, resultando em momentos de terror corporal nos NPCS
    - Algumas texturas não estão no jogo (tem uma ponte invisível no GTA SA)
    -Chuva foi implementada de maneira folgada. Não cai do céu e o efeito é extremamente irritante, afetando sua visibilidade no ponto de tornar o jogo injogável.
    -Veiculos no vice city explodem muito mais rapidos quando capotados, resultando em jogadores morrendo mais frequentemente
    -O minigame de sinuca no GTA SA tem problemas gráficos e é injogável pra algumas pessoas.
    -Alguns cortes de cabelo do SA não estão nessa versão
    - O sistema de mira travada é pior do que antes

    After 10 years on metacritic this is my first 0. How dare you pull a offline game off our game libary! I asked a refund and if they wont give it i'll contact my creditcard company for sure!

    I didn't care much how the game play i was happy that they use a ne engine and rebuild it from 0. But now it's impossible to even start the game.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
