Es de hecho gracioso ver el estado de los tres juegos de la saga en la actualidad después de que hayan quitado la opción de comprar/jugar las versiones originales en el Launcher de rockstar, hasta que te das cuenta de la pasta que esta gente lleva ganando con GTA V desde hace años y como eso no les ha impedido gastar lo justo para hacer una remasterización de mi*rda yPodría ser gracioso.     It is hard to judge this game fairly. If we would want to compare it to other remasters, we would see that unlike Warcraft III: Reforged it didn't cripple the game for existing owners. It is hard for new players to buy it, but if you have the old versions, you can still play those. And unlike the remaster of Diablo II it didn't intentionally ruin characters, enemies, the world. So, it isIt is hard to judge this game fairly. If we would want to compare it to other remasters, we would see that unlike Warcraft III: Reforged it didn't cripple the game for existing owners. It is hard for new players to buy it, but if you have the old versions, you can still play those. And unlike the remaster of Diablo II it didn't intentionally ruin characters, enemies, the world. So, it is better than Blizzard junk, but it is certainly worse than many other remasters (such as Mafia Definitive Editions). It is also very expensive for the very little value it promises even if it would be fixed.

    Mistakes can be made, so even if I can hate the amateurish models, which are weaker than what you can buy from stores, what you can design with morphs, etc. in Poser or DAZ Studio, they are ugly and bad...It can happen. Bugs when they use a new engine can happen in the early days. Plenty of things can be fixed. And the foundations that came from the original games are solid. And many of the GTA games were better than plenty of "legendary junk" from other legendary developer. If the game works, you can have some fun and more compatible with new hardware. But it doesn't make The Definitive Edition acceptable.

    The problem is: The studio responsible for Definitive Edition was already infamous for weak mobile ports. Rockstar and Take Two didn't care, and they have also forgot that this new Definitive Edition costs far more than the mobile remasters, etc. so quality issues had to be expected, and Rockstar already knew that users are angry when they cut their radio tracks.

    They had every opportunity to try to get new licenses for old tracks, also to create new tracks (by adding new stations to the game) to get the music more varied as hearing the same songs over and over can be boring. Pulling a game from market after release day, when players paid for it, started playing because some of the songs aren't licensed and they are only disabled is wrong. And it shows that Rockstar didn't want to make Definitive Edition really definitive. They wanted to cut song, they wanted the radios to be more repetitive and less interesting.

    And even if they fix the visuals, they wouldn't be better than previous mods EVEN if they do their really best. So what we have got for $60? A compatibility patch for games most of us already had. Sometimes we bought it from different platforms. Some of us have on disc versions (with a spare copy), steam versions, mobile versions, etc.    … Expand

    A broken and ugly downgrade in every regard.

    A look at any screenshot should suffice to realize the mess Rockstar published here. But look a bit deeper and you'll realize just how broken this de-master really is. From new game-breaking bugs to typos to broken 3D models, missing effects, etc. The list goes on and on. Stay away.

    You know I wouldn't have a issue with this game IF IT WAS FREE! I would simply wait for it to be patched BUT IT ISN'T! how? just HOW? Did they even test this game? I would rather buy the original versions separately rather than play this **** Oh wait that's right THEY REMOVED THOSE TOO!

    I was having a blast playing this game on PC for the first day, I was even defending the game saying that it was a great faithful remaster.     Even with the bugs I still was having a great time until Rockstar broke my trust and took the game I owned and paid $80 (CAD) away from me. There is no justification for taking someone's product that they paid for and making it inaccessible to them. These games are 16+ years old and don't require an internet connection so updating the games so that people cannot play the games they own and have installed on their machines has pushed me too far.

    Rockstar has always been a scummy company but has been able to garner the trust of its consumers by constantly producing quality products, but this release and the lack of any new quality products is severely damaging its brand. In total, this release may be a turning point for Rockstar as I and many others will think twice before purchasing a Rockstar product    … Expand

    Only for advertising Unreal Engine. Like, look at what a cool engine, even the game can be transferred from the left engine and it works almost the same way.

Whilst i am enjoying replaying these classics, there is nothing definitve about this release. Filled with bugs from the ios and andriod ports, audio stuttering and stuff that is straight up missing.     Full of bugs, monopolized on the terrible Rockstar launcher, we need updates to fix the issues and the game must be available on STEAM. Plus, removed the great original games from all stores.

    The developers showed disrespect for both fans and the game itself. The graphic style destroys the whole atmosphere of the game and is made extremely poorly, a large number of bugs, low FPS, etc.

    Lazy, effortless attempt at remastering one of the most iconic games in the GTA series. It has the same bugs, same physics but with way less features and even more bugs introduced by the unreal engine. Do not buy this shameful trilogy at any cost.

    Cant even play on pc. Looks worse than the original releases. More bugs than the originals... The only thing better about these are the environment textures and they even ruined that by taking fog away. Rain renders the game basically unplayable. Worst remaster in history. Oh and R* scrubbed the net of the old versions and mods before releasing this garbage.

    I've tried to play it, but hell    The game looks honestly awful. Lighting all over the place, texture upscaling done wrong (typos, streaming issues etc.), characters look like sims or simpons models, lots of famous music cut, performance issues for a 2004 game. They just directly converted the assets, without trying to improve things like cutscenes, render/streaming distance (see VC) etc.

    I've tried to play it, but hell no. I'm not going to ruin my memories and my best gaming experience from the early 2000 with such a bad port. Honestly, that's just pure insulting the original devs work and a huge slap into the face of your playerbase.

    R* is not the same as it was a decade ago. Ever since 2013 it seems like the only want to milk the cash cow with T2, no quality and only 2 games released in a decade. The problem is that the whole industry changed and quality in games is rare, and R*s quality has fallen in favor of making money. 60EUR for such a bad port is ridiculous, better buy Mafia Definitive Edition for that and you get a proper "Definitive Edition". Or take the money and buy the original games for 20EUR in your local store (while they are still available).
    It's also interesting to see that they have decided to use Unreal Engine instead of their own in-house engine RAGE. We can only rumour but it's definitely a weird move, maybe because some external dev studios were involved..

    Never ever would have Dan Houser or Leslie Benzies (and others) those games being released to the public.
    The game would have been polished, the port done right and only if the quality held up to R* standards it would have been released.
    Many people who built up the franchise have left the company years ago and only the money goons are remaining. The whole release feels just rushed. People are just hyping the GTA franchise because they believe R* will be better in the future and they connect R* with good memories and awesome games of the past. But it's time to wake up. We thought the same about CDPR, and what happened to Cyberpunk 2077?
    Management is just poor and most AAA publishers don't recognize or build games for their playerbase anymore. Building games for 12y+ old kids and for general audience is worth more than keeping your games identity accurate. And as long as we don't show the publishers that we do not accept such games, they will never change it.

    Modders have done it better, and T2 and R* shut 'em down to make sure that there's no competition for their "Definitive Edition" (I like to call it "Downgrade Edition"). They literally killed mods that have been in dev for 10000s of hours and have done it better. The sheer amount of bugs in the "Definitive Edition" is just a joke for a billion dollar company like R*. Never ever can you tell me that QA or QC department have properly tested those builds, and if so, the producers/management have ignored their reports.

    You deserve less than 0 for this BS rockstar. It's worst than the original in so many ways. It's like the soul has been ripped right out of these games. From being the conscious voice of the people to the greedy money maker you have become. All that shark card money could have been put to better use.

    Terrible character faces straight out of a Lego game. Blocky and clunky. This is downright lazy game design. The main characters are smooth and well designed. Everyone else looks like a block of wood or a potato. Glitches everywhere. There are so many typos in the game. Words, signs and businesses have misspelling's.

    This isn't new. Nobody should be surprised by the terribly rushed release of a game from a AAA gaming company. It's all for profit. Everyone who thinks that the industry is about the gamer, has been sadly mistaken. This deserves the lowest rating of all time.

    Rockstar cares more about making money than they do saving money. because they took down the mods for the original games over fears that it could hurt their economy. and they also removed the originals from the steam store, as to stop people from purchasing the older versions instead of this "new" pile of flaming garbage

    Hi dear this games is very good. The RockStar Game did a beautiful job at remastering Grand Theft Auto Games. I had very good nostalgia from old games when I play this. Very better graphics than old versions of this game.

    Rain effects make the games unplayable sometimes. Models are very bad. New textures are horrible at places. Most post-effects are terrible and out of place.     Oh and also suing modders, and removing the original game from the store so that nobody can buy the good version anymore...

    It's unreal how greedy these video game companies have become... Asking $60 for this is a joke...

    Take-Two и Rockstar Games, величия русского языка не хватит, чтобы описать на сколько вы скатились.

    Вы продаёте переиздание 3х игр 20 летней давности за 60 баксов и не вносите никаких изменений в геймплее.

    Чего ждали от переиздания все игроки:
    Переработанные анимации NPC, переработку механик стрельбы и вождения, добавление механики плавания в GTA 3 и Vice City, рэгдолл*, улучшение физики повреждения транспорта и современный звуковой дизайн.
    Иными словами, игроки хотели, чтобы вы переделали игру под стандарты геймдизайна 2021 года.

    Что мы получили в итоге:
    Улучшенный цветокор, увеличенную дальность прорисовки, селектор оружия из GTA V, GPS на мини карте, мультяшный графический дизайн мира и удаление половины классных треков с радио. Всё.

    Вы скажете: «Ну так это и есть “remastered”» и будете абсолютно правы.

    Тогда у меня возникает вопрос.
    А на кой х%р нам нужен обычный remastered игр 20 летней давности, если вы оставили те же корявые анимации, баги, физику и прочее?

    Вы отдали разработку этих игр компании “Grove Street Games”, которая сделала отвратительный порт GTA на PS3 и XBOX 360, и ещё более худший порт на iOS и Android.
    И вы решили им доверить полноценное переиздание?
    У вас всё в порядке с головой?

    Цитата с официального сайта: «Атмосфера и классический дизайн оригиналов были сохранены».
    Видимо в атмосферу GTA, по мнению Rockstar Games и Grove Street Games, входит и колоссально огромное количество багов из оригинала.

    Если вы захотели выставить такую цену, значит вы были обязаны сделать ремейк без изменений в сюжете.

    На дворе 2021 год, а я умираю, когда падаю в воду в GTA: Vice City.
    Это, бл%ть, нормально?

    Все персонажи, транспорт, дома как будто обмазаны двойным слоем пластилина и тройным слоем воска. Глаза обливаются кровью.

    Стрельба такая же отвратная, как и в оригинале, физика транспорта на том же уровне, анимации остались такими же забагованными, звуки такого же низкого, по современным меркам, качества.
    Когда ты просто идёшь по улице, тебе встречаются 5 или 6 одинаковых NPC. Когда едешь на машине и врезаешься в другой объект, капот всё так же отлетает, как бумажный лист без физической массы и это ещё далеко не всё.

    Вы засудили создателей глобальных модификаций за то, что они якобы нарушили лицензионное соглашение, но дело ведь ни только в этом, так?
    Ещё несколько лет назад модификации обычных энтузиастов выглядели куда лучше, чем то, что вы выпустили сейчас. У вас от этого жопа сгорела.
    Само собой, Take-Two задались вопросом: «А как мы продадим нашу обновлённую трилогию, если более красивое переиздание можно собрать из различных уже готовых бесплатных ассетов от энтузиастов?».
    И они нашли ответ.

    Да, модификации игроков плохо оптимизированы под саму игру, часто вылетают и глючат, но за них не просили по 60$.

    Games are awesome, but this is worthless. This is not a remaster. The community did a much better job.
    This is another way for Rockstar taking your money. Better to buy the games on the second hand market or spend your money elsewhere.

    Nothing close to what a billion dollar company can do. These games deserved a much better treatment than cheap model, texture and lightning updates. Animations are archaic, main menus of all 3 games just use San Andreas sound effects, no update to classic intros. Just a quick and lazy nostalgia cash grab.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
