    Ugly cartoon-like character models, bugs, removed music, should I even go on? Rockstar removed the OG games so that they can shove this garbage in our mouth. This is perhaps the biggest disappointment in 2021.

    I will preface this, by stating I did not pay for this game and boy am I glad I didn't! it's basically the mobile port (10th anniversary) with new character models and a lick of paint + rain that hurts your eyes. Glitchy graphics, poor performance, **** embarrassing rain effect, barely tested, barely refined, overlaps of a huge variation of bugs, you can easily tell how little care and effort went into it. OG titles deserve way better remasters if not a full remake of each, but these small mobile-ishA glitchy mobile port has been modded under the name 'Definitive Edition'. A huge lie by rockstar.     I thought it is impossible to make remaster worse than warcraft 3 refunded, but rockstar did it. This game is even worse. Low fps, all old bugs + tons of new, horrible compressed sounds, and cherry on a cake - new models and textures generated by ml. Looks really bad    … Expand

    They knew damn well that this remaster was hot garbage, removing the old games from Steam and then only having the original and the "remasters" on their own store so they can avoid the refund policy Steam has.

    Como pode um jogo do inicio dos anos 2000, rodar a 30 FPS em um console de ultima geração. No minimo desde a versao do PS4 base deveria rodar com tudo no maximo. ja vimos outros remaster que fizeram muito mais que esse.

A aparência dos personagens é medonha, parecem feitos à lápis!     Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico    Atmosfera, era um dos principais pontos do jogo em relação ao gráfico.     Isso tudo foi totalmente destruído no remaster, isso, pois desta vez todo o gráfico acabou ficando com características desagradáveis e desequilibradas como sombras totalmente escuras, iluminação totalmente clara, sem um equilíbrio no contraste, e isso, em todas as regiões do mapa. Além disso, todo o visual ganhou um tom muito saturado.

    O draw distance está ampliado, porem, sem sensação de profundidade, tudo muito nítido passando um ar surrealista. Isso, pois na realidade o horizonte tem partículas, neblina, que impedem a visualização nítida da paisagem a distância.

    É possível perceber que certos horários no jogo chegam a quase ter um equilíbrio no contraste luz e sombra, porem isso varia muito, mostrando uma falta de atenção nos detalhes, tendo então um visual inconsistente.

    Vale ressaltar que mudanças aconteceram na primeira versão de pc, onde na versão de playstation 2 existia um clima mais alaranjado e na de pc não. Porem, mesmo diferente, a alteração manteve uma boa atmosfera, diferente desta nova versão remasterizada.

    Posso dizer que se fosse outro jogo, como, por exemplo, um indie, o gráfico em si não seria tão ruim, porem, é um jogo icônico, e de uma empresa multimilionária.    … Expand

I had suspicions when this remake was announced just a couple of months before the release, but for some reason I had hope. Now it's gone. Models look awful and strangely plastic-like, bugs were preserved and multiplied. And on top of that they had an audacity to remove the original versions.     This is rockstar at their greediest. Removed features, somehow clunkier gameplay than the originals and terrible character models that would give Shrek on the ps2 a run for it’s money. Rockstar thought they could get away with the bare minimum and play it of as if they were trying to keep the nostalgic feel and hoped people would blindly preorder this mess.     The one positive I can take from this game is that it makes me want to play the originals…

    Dan Houser left over a year ago. I have had fears of Rockstar games going downhill since. Seems like those fears are coming true... Now Rockstar is now just a soulless money-grabbing company. Even taking down mods which helped improve the gameplay and graphics. I feel like they should have worked with some of the modders which made a 17-year-old game look better.     Just absolute trash, judging by all the tweets on Twitter and the things discovered by players and put it on Reddit, it's not worth the price, and the fact that it's unplayable right now on PC and the removal of mods just makes it worse... U guys really fxcked up R*, I'm just glad I didn't waste my money on this abomination and purchase the original ones before its gone...     There are bugged textures left and right. There is a night and day difference in the detail in the face of the protagonists compared to any other character, and it feels incredibly out of place. There are mission bugs, particularly in VC’s Gun Runner. The frame rate is inconsistent at best, dropping the most drastically when it begins to rain. The rain is also unbearable. In GTA 3, it is just shy of impossible to see when it’s raining. They’re white streaks that cover the entire screen, being more akin to TV static than actual rain. In VC and SA, the issue doesn’t seem to be quite as intolerable, but nonetheless they are still just white streaks flying across the screen instead of something that actually resembles rain drops. You could go through the r/GTA or r/GTATrilogy for 5 minutes and spot 30 bugs players have found, which vary from immersion breaking to game breaking. There are removed songs and animations in each game, the most egregious of the animations being everything muscular CJ does now. And as far as missing songs goes, the company that made this game has amassed an unbelievable amount of wealth, and it’s nothing but laziness and greediness to not work out licensing for the ACTUAL DEFINITIVE SOUNDTRACK. The games’ audio received almost no polish. It seems the only thing actually done to change these games from what they were before is the graphical appearance. When these games were current, they were the best looking PS2 era games around. With the “Definitive” editions just released, they are still nothing more than the best looking PS2 era games. The only changes to make gameplay any smoother are the free camera, and free camera drive by controls. By today’s standards, GTA 3 is next to unplayable. Nothing about it feels good. It was a chore to complete, and it’s a game from my childhood that I have incredibly fond memories of. I even go back and play the original version once every 2 or 3 years, along with VC and SA. These games deserved improvements to make them appeal to the generation that didn’t get the chance to play them when all the hype surrounded them. Instead, we’ve gotten 3 bug ridden messes from a studio that already ruined the 10 year anniversary edition of, arguably, everybody’s favorite game, San Andreas (I prefer VC for the story, and SA for gameplay). If changes aren’t made VERY soon to fix performance issues, and eliminate the dozens of bugs players are coming across, I think the legacy of these games will be tarnished, and the reputation of all companies involved will be questioned of laziness and greed. tl;dr: It’s a rushed mess. It is incredibly apparent they needed at least another 2 months to have the games properly built. And now, instead, we’re going to have to wait and hope that they add patches that we should’ve never had to wait for in the first place.… Expand

    Jogo mal prodruzido, em varios segmentos, Quase sem muitas mudanças. E um preço abusivo, cujo é interamente cheio de glitch, prejudicando e impossibitando a gameplay. porém em meio a tantos problemas o mais grave é a modelagem dos personagens, alguns até tirando sua essência dos gta's clássicos.
    Foram jogos que revolucionou o mercado de games, e hoje se encontra estragado.

    This remaster is an absolute disrespect towards the gta nostalgics. Games is fulla bugs and glitches, the graphics isn't necessary bad but it is awkward and the art direction for this remaster just feels weird. And therefore, it is by no means an faithful recreation of the original games' experience. Do not buy this, do not play this, it is not worth your money and it is not worth your time.

Накатили пользовательских модов на графон(похоже самые убогие, так как есть моды с более крутой графикой), на не плохом железе вечно какие-то фризы, может не понятно от чего вылетать.     They spat on the fans of the game. The level of work is worse than amateur mods. And after all, they still ask for a huge price for such disgusting work and for disgusting treatment of the players.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
