    Well let's see.... launcher down for almost 2 days upon release so I can't play it. Launcher goes back online and the game is no longer available. A game I PAID for. 3 days after release date and no update from Rockstar except that the files are being REMOVED from the game.

    If this is the quality for remaster editions of games, then I will not be buying any more of these types of games. These is a worser then the previous games. Though the environmental graphics are amazing. I don't like the sky too much but that's just my opinion. I just wish Rockstar up-ed their game and release something that was worth the money.     I don't know what Rockstar was thinking when making this game. The game is in a terrible state, no changes have been made except for the graphics. The game mechanics haven't even changed. We are playing the same game that came out 20 years ago. Also, the rain effect in the game is a disaster. In short, the legendary series is ruined. Rockstar has done a really disastrous job after all these years.

But there's no way I can forgive Take Two and Rockstar for the horrible way they've treated the community, for the fact that they've issued and are still issuing DMCAs to modders or for pulling the originals from online stores in order to steer people intoOn its own this release doesn't deserve a zero.     Three remasters and three unfinished and unpolished piles of product for 60$. The thing i like for the most is the map and fake interiors almost everywhere in the buildings, but that's a part of the graphics, you can't use them to mod the original SA. Other things as:
    Weird reflections on the characters, this unnecessary cloth shader, old sounds, awful rain, awful water, wrong weapon    Three remasters and three unfinished and unpolished piles of product for 60$. They even have some difference in a level of no detalization. Also characters tend to stay in some creepy poses. No ragdoll, alot of textures look like they've been just upscaled by AI, some are messed up. No collision in some places, there's a mix of Xbox/PS/mobile version cars(some cars have 3d engines,some don't) /icons/another stuff, suspensions and textures on some cars don't look good, decision on the wheels are weird, some songs are deleted, almost no new features (gps is fine, but it's not really needed because the maps are pretty small) Why? That's even not all flaws/bugs, whatever. Аnd optimisation SUCKS. That's not even a full UE4 port - RenderWare works as the main part of the game, and i think, if you would try fix all flaws and bugs to make it into a decent game, renderware will be dead from both mods and UE4. And it's already dying, fps drops drastically in some places. And all this cost 60$ after T2 banned all mods, rly? That's bold, T2    … Expand

    It's baffling how or why this package came out in the state that it's in.     The game's being review bombed for a ton of reasons - mostly ignorant nonsense - but it definitely has its issues. The modern aiming mechanics are bad, some of the weather effects are overemphasized, the soundtracks have obviously been altered due to licensing issues, and the game runs a bit jankily considering there's no reason for 20 year old games to run anything but flawlessly, even on a new engine.

    I wouldn't really recommend this. It's not the catastrophe the review bombing indicates, but it's definitely sub-par.    … Expand

    The only game in the trilogy that was playable. Only game in trilogy with checkpoints in the middle of missions, I liked that. The gameplay and story was good as always. The rest was horrible.     Thank you for banning the mods, Rockstar! It was totally worth this **** up version. The port itself is a 3-4/10 due to **** controls and 0 work on the original's bugs, but because you also did ban mods for the original games, this is a **** 0.

Почему все хотели бы реалистичную игру? Как по мне такая графика выглядит очень уютно. Конечно, это не ГТА 6. Это создано для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть тихим уютным вечером, поиграв в ту самую ГТА из детства , благодаря графике, воспринимать сейчас ее также, как мы все воспринимали ее много лет назад. Я правда не понимаю зачем занижать рейтинг трем играм, которые являются ремастером к оригинальным. Действительно, цена кусается, это единственный минус. Но откуда столько негатива? Когда мы были детьми, то копили на игры со школьных обедов. А сейчас мы кричим, брызгая слюной, что игра дорогая? Спасибо рокстар за визуализацию прошлого через призму настоящего и терпения вам в этой волне хейта от ожидающих непонятно чего недовольных игроков.… Expand

    It's great. I love the thought of it. If you spent money on this for PC, that's all you get. Just imagine all the bugs you could be struggling with, it's all you can do because the game is literally not available 3 days after launch for PC owners. What an absolute joke. If rockstar doesn't compensate me for this, I am getting a refund.     As someone who played GTA 3 on PS2 as a kid, it’s AWESOME to see the game with more up to date graphics. They also added some dialogue and a few new scenes to give it more of a modern feel.
    While the game certainly needs patches to fix a few non-gamebreaking glitches, overall I’m having a blast with these remasters. Если игру оценивать с точки зрения "ремастера", а не "ремейка", как ошибочно все считают, то он получился неплохим. Но с учётом прошлого опыта студии в плане разработки игр завышенные ожидания общественности и конский ценник сыграли свою роль в успехе данного переиздания. Несомненным его плюсом является качество по сравнению с другими модами для этой трилогии игр про великого автоугонщика. Как бы грустно это не звучало, но это, по моему мнению, единственный весомый плюс. Проблем у этого ремастера хоть отбавляй. Начиная от плохой оптимизации и уничтожения атмосферы до цензуры и наглядной спешки Groove Street Games побыстрее закончить этот проект. Я не зря выше сравнил

    Definitely not worth the full price that is being asked for it, full of bugs that weren't in the original versions of the games, ugly character models and very poorly optimized. In addition to Rockstar having removed the originals from the store, as if these were the "definitive" way to play these classics. I don't recommend this game to anyone.

    I honestly wish I could get a refund for this piece of **** I bought this expecting rockstar to deliver a great game and ended up with crashes, a slow frame rate, cars appearing out of nowhere, invisible walls

    Well-done the atmosphere remained the same as in the original, but due to the new game engine there were a lot of bugs. But if you compare with the original, it is much better. I don't think the trilogy deserves so many bad grades.

    This game is HORRIBLE, especially the price, there are people (modders) who would make mod for the game much better, totally lazy work. Vice City is one of the only ones that got good and combined. GTA SA looks like The Simpsons Hit and Run.

    There is only one positive side: unreal engine.
    New car settings - suck. You can't drive car 'coz of curved terrain. AI was f*cked up totally. Fire and smoke effects are total **** Lot of bugs. But on the bright side - shaders look not bad. I guess modmakers should fix it.
    And price is too big. This games should cost about 10$ for whole Trilogy.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
