First they remove GTA 3, Vice city and San Andreas from stores...I guess they hate money, second they put DMCA claims on modders who just make mods for free, keep game alive and do free advertising, third they f**ed up remake....just port it to newer systems thats all.     For 4-5 thousand they wanted to feed us with THIS! Why is the red price MAXIMUM 1 thousand! 300 rubles each for damaged originals, and another 100 rubles on top for pills to treat a broken roof. Although given the above noted attitude towards the mod community, you are not even worthy of this money.
    About spoiled graphics, all the same outdated physics, which has now become twitchy in places, and poor sound, there are already many who have written here. Will not forget about the cut content yet. Coupled with a bunch of new bugs out of the blue, and other "delights" of modern, supposedly "more expensive" game development. Not to mention pushing the agenda, and the most insignificant attempts to please, not offend those who will never be your target audience anyway. And to your real audience, you just made a savory spit.
    You know, there is a saying, roughly it sounds like this: "If you spit on society, society will drown. If society spits on you, you will drown."
    So tell me, was it worth it? Was it really necessary to bring this up?
    We can only hope, and it’s probably still naive, that this will serve as some kind of lesson. Although, given the increasingly widespread greed, which is played along with the profits, most likely no lesson will be learned. They will just pretend that this product has never existed. And they will no longer do FULL-FULL reprints. They will also shove it off on the fans, they say, it's all because of them, such toxic and aggressive haters. Of course, this is always a very comfortable position. Especially when green papers have already settled in my pocket.
    It’s a pity that when the last fall of the stocks, they did not collapse to the very bottom. Perhaps having already received a good kick from investors, you would at least then think about something.
    It is very disappointing and sad that every year I observe an increasing degradation of the once legendary companies. And the fall of your favorite gaming industry to the bottom.     Terrível, é um tapa na cara do jogador esses jogos vergonhosos, modelos de personagens piores que o original, além de ter trazido junto todos os bugs dos originais, na verdade fomos contemplados com ainda mais bugs e instabilidade, nada da jogabilidade, física e gameplay foi alterado, tudo está igual ou pior, e tudo isso por um preço exorbitante e fora da realidade.

    An utterly broken, glitchy, poorly made, sad excuse of a remaster. Filled with typos on the vast majority of textures, broken normal maps, character models that look like the Sims 2, this game is virtually a downgrade in every way from the original games. And the fact that they have removed the ability to buy the original games adds insult to injury.

    Nostalgia will only get you so far with re masters, and it's hard to look past the catalogue of bugs and issues all three remastered games have. Astonishingly, these ~20 year old games set themselves a benchmark of 30fps on previous and current gen consoles, which they inexplicably consistently cannot reach. To have these versions replace the originals (which are no longer available to buy) is not a move to try and curate genre defining games of the last 20 years, but a clear and present message that unfortunately the gaming industry now does not respect its own legacy, but does very much respect it's ability to make money.
    If you can see past the bugs and price tag it might be worth a punt, but i think most consumers like myself are left feeling out of pocket and can only hope for updates.    … Expand

Итак назову основное, что мне не понравилось: видно что игра сделана для мобильника, при прицеливании на НПС он выделяется белым цветом (типо автонаводка), НПС ваншотятся если стрелять когда ты за рулём, при нажатии на "А" или "D" персонаж начинаетГрафика довольно приятная, только дождь ночью всё портит а так норм, не знаю чего все плюются на лица, если игра имеет кучу других недостатков. Итак назову основное, что мне не понравилось: видно что игра сделана для мобильника, при прицеливании на НПС он выделяется белым цветом (типо автонаводка), НПС ваншотятся если стрелять когда ты за рулём, при нажатии на "А" или "D" персонаж начинает бежать по кругу, а не двигаться в указанную сторону, изменили систему прокачки в спортзале(вместо судорожного нажатия кнопок на клаве теперь просто нужно жать одну кнопку попадая в область на полосе - очень уныло, можно дрыщем взять макс вес и при этом область ползунка не измениться). Так же уменьшили хп всем НПС, и ускорили прокачку навыков (смог обучиться у тренера на второй день тренировки, на сколько я помню в оригинале где-то дня 3-4 нужно было качаться. Так же изменилось управление на летном транспорте.… Expand

    Зачем тратить время и силы, чтобы переделать игру под другой движок, поломав при этом все лица и вообще всю пропорцию персонажей (пальцы-сосиски, сломанный позвоночник и тд), добавить кучу багов, и полностью изменить оригинальный дух игры, сделав все мультяшным?
    Ведь можно было просто взять/выкупить, за небольшую благодарность, у мододелов пару патчей и закинуть их стим и тд.

    This is worst of their work yet. Mind you, mobile ports of III, Vice City and San Andreas were not good -- especially SA, which is considered worst of the three, and is pretty much feature-broken years after release.

    But this is another level of bad. Visually, games lost their aesthetics, their unique art style is down the garbage chute. They've used AI-based re-scaling pretty much everywhere, and it's absolutely horrible. Character models are ruined, especially ones of Claude, Tommy, Denise and Asuka. Distance fog is gone in all three games, and blue tint is gone from III.

    Tens of hundreds of bugs, both old and new are present. Frame rate is all over the place. Glitches are everywhere. Physics of the cars and objects is junk.

    Some of the missions are completely broken, and some are bugged up to the brim, to the point where you can still technically finish them, but you'll curse all of the developers and their immediate family whilst doing so.

    With all of that being said, I should separately note that Rockstar pulled all of the original games from all digital stores, and threatened to sue a bunch of modders, including authors of re3 & reVC -- modern engine re-implementations for GTA III and Vice City, respectively.

    These actions in themselves are in bad taste. Considering that this is being done to clear the way for this piece of garbage re-make, this release looks more and more like a greedy cash grab.

    Please avoid this at all costs. Original games with Silent patch installed are much more consistent and enjoyable. Consider buying a copy of any of these three games on a second-hand market.    … Expand

    They would have been better off giving us an emulated PS2 version with GTAV controls. Rain is the biggest eye sore possible, character models look like Mii characters, and it's very clearly an updated release of the mobile port that came out a few years ago.

Modele postaci to jakiś nie śmieszny żart. Dodatkowo usunięcie gry dzień po premierze i kazanie czekac do poniedziałku to totalny brak profesjonalizmu. Shame on U Rockstar!

    nothing is good in the definitive edition. The game world looks like a plastic mockup. Why also Take 2 hired grove street games? I have no idea. The most upsetting thing is that there was nothing rockstar games could do about it.. In childhood, this trilogy game was beautiful, and now? no words :(

    The zero is mostly good to give at the state of the game and the damn **** of a launcher that they decided to go to instead of steam between bad grapics for GTA3 which i bought the damn thing for to the **** rain effect that act like damn shards of glass to the physics don't let me start if you didn't buy it yet way for a big sale.

    I don't get it. They somehow keep all the old bugs in the original game versions and yet somehow make the graphical improvements seem so out of place with the art style.

    This genuinely feels like a mobile game and it's clear it is designed as one.

I think I could put a higher rating for this remaster, however, the fact that Rockstar began the hunt for modders who made much more successful modifications of classic GTA games than this... Just won't let me do it ... And the disappearance of the classic versions of GTA 3 from sale in Steam ... Only exacerbate the whole situation ...

    Save your money. the trilogy has bugs from the mobile version not present in the OG releases, combined with the fact that take two delisted the OG games from steam, I have to give this a zero score.

    And i have NP with that as i really enjoyed the GTA series from back in the day
    till now. Then they do a remake for the last 3{cool} and this is crap they give us?

Other than that, I didn't see any new bugs or problems that wouldn't let me enjoy the game. The new aiming is OK but could be better (might be fixable via settings, didn't check yet). The games look much more appealing to me and are much more comfortable to play on PlayStation 5.

    It's definitely not worse than the PS2 versions because I've just completed them before the launch of the Definitive Edition and there were more things to dislike: controls (accelerating and braking with X and Square instead of the triggers), outdated graphics, loading time.

    The real problem is that I feel guilty for enjoying the game. I don't get why does the community hate it so much. The developers still have work to do but it's playable and enjoyable. In the end, it works for me and that's what really matters.

    Rockstar are doing well in the quickest race to the bottom with this. Just stick with your original purchases and mod graphics, this isn't at all an acceptable "remaster".

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
