    What a disappointing offensive lazy heap of junk. It looks like a phone game straight out of 2013 with absolutely no improvements whatsoever. Oh don’t forget the endless bugs in the game and the Rockstar Launcher

    Looks like a sterile phone game.

    Either keep the atmosphere that made the original great OR actually improve on the gameplay to bring it to modern day gaming for a new experiece. They did neither, and everything but the draw distance looks worse like storms or lighting.

    Great job, Rockstar Games! Wonderful remaster through and through! I wish more companies were like You, so diligent with the IPs that made them who they are. Can't wait to see what you do with the inevitable GTA IV remaster, really excited to play it on my Apple watch. :)

    Take Two is such a bastards. They banned the mods for Original Trilogy, because those free mods, made by a community, are better than an ENTIRE "rEmAsReReD" trilogy. And they banned mods for GTAV, just because **** you, gamers".
    Also they behave like bastards to Kerbal Space Program modders, mods and gamers in the same way (I know it is not GTA Trilogy related, but it matters, because    Take Two is such a bastards. One day or two after release i got day off from work to play and give it "next" shot. They just deleted it from Rockstar Launcher and i couldn't play at all anymore, it was very frustrating moment but i send petition forGames itself looks to be just modded in very bad ways, crap animations, sound engineering stayed same and its not even properly mastered. crashes, bugs and its pretty bad. One day or two after release i got day off from work to play and give it "next" shot. Даже не на хайпе хочу занизить оценку, я сознательно больше нуля не могу поставить этому, потому что они просто убили не только то, за что я любил оригинальную ГТА, они убили то, за что я любил старые игры в принципе!!! Я даже не хочу писать про то, как выглядят персонажи, и что вся игра стала мультяшной, и что теперь я ее просто не могуЯ давно не был так разочарован... Это просто кошмар. Даже не на хайпе хочу занизить оценку, я сознательно больше нуля не могу поставить этому, потому что они просто убили не только то, за что я любил оригинальную ГТА, они убили то, за что я любил старые игры в принципе!!! Я даже не хочу писать про то, как выглядят персонажи, и что вся игра стала мультяшной, и что теперь я ее просто не могу воспринимать серьезно, я бы много мог про это написать, но хочу затронуть другую, не менее важную тему - удаление оригинальных текстур витрин и замена их на проклятую "3d" текстуру за стеклом. Это выглядит ужасно, но хуже всего это просто стирает все детали, которыми наполнили мир оригинальные разработчики. Я очень люблю фото текстуры, и мне очень жаль, что с ними так обходятся, даже в Mafia Definitive Edition несмотря на отличную детализацию, все витрины заменены на пустые стекла, хотя в оригинале было куча деталей, хоть и запечатленных в текстуры, но ты смотрел на эти текстуры и видел в них кучу деталей, интерьер, стеллажи с конкретными товарами, вывески, наклейки, все передавали через фототекстуры даже в те давние времена. Но сейчас вместо них витрины просто заменяются стеклом, за которым максимум поставят пару предметов или убогую замыленную 3d текстуру, в которой нет никаких деталей, но из-за блестящей поверхности стекла выглядит лучше, чем фототекстура. Я считаю это огромным минусом текущих технологий, из-за чего все дома кажутся одинаковыми. В оригинальной же трилогии GTA создали почти каждое здание индивидуальным за счет ранообразных фототекстур и вывесок, каждое здание представляло собой уникальный интерьер, но в этом недоремейке все стерли начисто, просто заменив фототекстуры на убогое стекло, уничтожив все детали и индивидуальность зданий. Лучше бы они просто подправили освещение, эффекты и дальность прорисовки, чем портили все остальное. Это худшие впечатления, что я получил, играя в игры, так испортить хорошие игры надо постараться.… Expand

    A lot of bugs + crashed a bunch of times gameplay has not been changed and graphics got worse . the only positive change was the weapon wheel which is basically a mod. overall, it doesn't worth 60$ and is just a cash grab

They literally kept all the bugs and didn't even bother to iron them out. Never buy this regardless of any sale because it will be fixed. 0/10, Basically No effort was put in on, removed the old but beloved versions, didn't renew music license because there cheap and censored it. At this point I believe GTA 6 will never see the light and if it does, it'll be terrible as this.… Expand

    Im sorry to say that but this is not even a remaster. Its just a make up. Even audios are low quality from the old games. They did nothing except some touch on visiual effects. Its cash grab dont buy it. Its a shame for Rockstar games.

    I hate to say this, but this remaster is worse than Call of Duty Vanguard and Cyberpunk 2077, WORST REMASTER EVER, Rockstar and Take Two is basically becoming the next EA, Activision and CD Projekt Red, they are trying to pull off the cyberpunk, how could you go from RDR2 which is a masterpiece to this piece of **** I would have rather preferred GTA 4 Remastered and RDR 1 Remake over thisI hate to say this, but this remaster is worse than Call of Duty Vanguard and Cyberpunk 2077, WORST REMASTER EVER, Rockstar and Take Two is basically becoming the next EA, Activision and CD Projekt Red, they are trying to pull off the cyberpunk, how could you go from RDR2 which is a masterpiece to this piece of **** I would have rather preferred GTA 4 Remastered and RDR 1 Remake over this stupid GTA Triogy so called Definitive Edition and it isn't made by Rockstar, it's made by a company who were responsible for the broken Mobile port of GTA San Andreas on PS3, Xbox 360 and Mobile, the character models are awful, gunplay is awfulbugs, glitches, terrible rain, frame rate stutter issues, censorship, removed music from radio stations etc. Why couldn't they make Rockstar Dundee or North work on these Remasters, Don't Blame Grove Street Games aka Wardrum studios, Blame Rockstar and Take Two for making GSG work on the Remasters again, this Remaster is a joke and a cashgrab and slapped the 60 dollar price tag for this piece of ****, Mods are better, even modded versions look better than these Remasters, Don't buy these piece of **** even pirating is not worth it better off play the original trilogy and pirate it since Rockstar removed the og trilogy to sell this cashgrab, I would have rate 3 or 4 stars over the graphical improvements, texture upgrades, gta 5 style controller layouts, keeping the og cheats, increased draw distance etc. but I am giving 0 stars after what Rockstar and Take Two did to the modding community by Removing fan made mods, reverse engineered projects, famous 3D universe map Mods like GTA Underground and GTA 5 Map Mods etc. And slapping 60 dollars when you could Remaster yourself the og trilogy games for free using mods, so I advise you guys to not buy this trash and buy Battlefield 2042 or Elden Ring instead, Battlefield portal properly Remastered BF1942, Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 and you can play these games together instead of separately, I am surely Boycotting this game and we should all boycott ROCKSTAR Games and Take Two for treating the community like garbage and how they are milking GTA 5 for 3 generations of consoles over GTA Online and Selling overpriced Shark Cards and how they Abandoned RDR2, single player DLCs for all games and Red Dead Online over GTA Online and not fixing the opressor Mk2 and godmode glitch but patching fun glitches for GTA Online and removing single player mods but NOT removing GTA Online and Red Dead Online mods which can ruin your experience and track your IP address and you can't play GTA Online and Red Dead Online on PC unless if you use VPN, Rockstar hasn't even added dedicated servers and Anti cheat for 8 goddamn years but Activision is finally adding an anti cheat after 2 years for Call of Duty especially Warzone, so I advise you guys to join forces and boycott Rockstar and Take Two until they listen to the community and fixes all the problems, we need Rockstar to do better, it all went downfall when Leslie Benzes, Lazlow Jones and Dan Houser left, I was a huge fan of Rockstar games and my first game was modded vice city and I started gaming with GTA and seeing this makes me extremely sad, and it's extremely sad to see fanboys defend this **** like their first game was gta 5 and gta online, At this point I think GTA 6 should be delayed by 2030 after seeing this buggy trilogy, if it wasn't for GTA Online, Bully 2 would have already come out, you ruined our childhood, you ruined the og feel of this game with this **** and Take Two said AAA games should be polished and fixed before release but then releases a broken game, that explains why they haven't shown us raw gameplay footage before release… Expand

    Rockstar just proved that there's absolutely no hope left for that company. All talented people have clearly left Rockstar long time ago. Whoever made this remaster have absolutely no talent. Nothing. They didn't improve any of the main problems of original games, while this was PERFECT opportunity for this. San Andreas was best they could do in 2004. It was revolutionary. Is this remasterRockstar just proved that there's absolutely no hope left for that company. All talented people have clearly left Rockstar long time ago. Whoever made this remaster have absolutely no talent. Nothing. They didn't improve any of the main problems of original games, while this was PERFECT opportunity for this. San Andreas was best they could do in 2004. It was revolutionary. Is this remaster best they can do now? Even if they wanted to keep original feel, they failed, because there's none of it. They removed all the fog and they think that's okay? Map looks like minecraft now. What the hell? Even GTA 5 doesn't have that much draw-distance. No game should have so much draw distance and even then, every game has some fog covered areas, etc. You are not supposed to see EVERYTHING on map. That completely ruins the immersion. By the way San Andreas map is not actually that small, it is pretty big, they just managed to ruin the immersion by removing any atmosphere. In gta 3 and vice city you still can't climb over anything, still can't swim. This makes no sense. You could have just copied San Andreas swimming and climbing animation and add it to 3 and Vice City, but i guess they are not talented enough to do that with 2 years of development time. All they can do is making ugly inconsistent textures and copy pasting same Palm trees all over the maps.… Expand

    The graphic is a joke and the controls are not much better than in the original games. The game is also full of gliches and buggs.

То что в новом движке есть всякие отражения и тени это не заслуга Rockstar Games а разработчиков движка.     Cyberpunk did not become a lesson for me, I again had high hopes for the game, which eventually made me cry and laugh in a bad way. I will never expect anything that much again. Thank you rockstar, you have very tasty faeces.

    Everyone character model looks like they have one to many chromosomes, the controls are still terrible, and it runs at like 30 fps.

    Rockstar dropped the ball on this remaster. The cars and other moving models look like plastic toys and the cities look like polished excrement. The contrast between the environment and the models is horrible and the list of bugs is long and obnoxious. Quality of life changes are the only redeeming part of this remaster that does no favours for fans or newcomers. Skip it until they either fix it or let the moders do their job.

    I cannot currently recommend Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition on the PC, and a lot has to happen until I do. The truth is that I've had a decent amount of fun with this remaster; part of it is based on nostalgia, and part of it is based on some ridiculous, unavoidable bugs that weren't as frequent as I'd feared. Given all of these issues and the abysmal performance of the three games on the PC, I'd stay away from the trilogy until several major updates have been released. Even then, this remaster may not be for everyone.

    Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was set up to be one of the best things for GTA fans and it failed to hit that mark. It will now be remembered as a failure to launch title but I am sure Rockstar will step in and continue to fix some items within their game world.
