    Xbox One user here, I played for about 8h, just finished what you could call the prologue. Not only the game is absolutely not optimized for the current gen of consoles, ( Graphics rendering is atrocious, the game is blured, I can see some weird pixelated remains when a character moves...) it lacks a lot of content that was promised at lauch.     Sadly there were only very view studios left where you could trust the game would be good, but holy **** did CDPR kill this game. Keep in mind I was playing on a PS5:

    Fuuuuulllll of bugs graphic problem looks like a game from the past but with low fps. Npcs totally break the immersion which is a must for an RPG game. Unplayable on ps4. Driving is a joke its like u are on ice all time I think none of the devs have a car... Ask for REFUND if you can and dont buy it now and wait another half or one year.

    Unfinished and buggy. AI is crap (absolute crap, worse than most games these 10 last years, unbelievable), gameplay is at best average, the city is empty and you hit walls everywhere. It feels like you're on rails all the time. It shouldn't be advertised as an "open world rpg".
    60 euros is way too much for a broken alpha. Do not buy this game at least until a year or two.

    Tons of ridiculous bugs, **** optimization even for PC version, unacceptable frame rate even in small empty rooms on my 1070Ti, shooting is absolutely uncontrollable, because input has an incredible lag.

Extremely boring combat, stupid NPC, poor optimization, bad translation, this game is unfinished, It's too hard to enjoy. i can felt their pain for those who have been wait this game for so long.     Vraiment super déçus du jeu sur console et plus particulièrement ps4 (slim) Neuve d'un an ! Le jeu graphiquement est vraiment pas très beau ! Les rues vides ainsi que les routes ! Je rencontre 1 voiture tout les 900 m ! Et deux pecno sur le trotoire ! Sa casse l'immersion ! Les bugs en masses ! Les crash en masses !     I’ll give it a 2 for the art design they had most parts look great. Running on a 3080 FE Ryzen 5800x, so performance was not an issue. As a disclaimer I was not hyped on this game going into it, just kept hearing about it and wanted a new game to play.
    - sadly I kept playing hoping it would get fun, unfortunately ran past my refund limit

    To be honest I don't know if the game is fun or not, because I can't see the city or the npcs on xbox one. Everything is blurry, and the frames drop as soon as you move. I don't see how this could ever be fixed on old consoles, considering they had 8 years to do it.

    It really feels like they're joking with this whole release.

Эта игра явно не стоит своих денег , и почему кто то платит за игру на релизе 50 долларов , а кто то на ПК ещё до релиза пиратку может скачать ? Больше ни каких покупок продукта CDСплошной провал , столько ждать релиза что бы так сильно разочароваться ?     Самый ожидаемый проект этого года всё же получился провальным, игра на релизе очень сырая с огромным количеством багов, пластиковой механикой, не самй хорошей боевой системой, а также с ужасной оптимизацией. As an exercise to the reader, try to guess which of the following words is really from the game and which I made up: Netrunner. Cyber water. Neurolink. Corpo. Neurodaemon. See? The worst part of all is the gameplay. This game seems hellbent on wrestling control away from the player at every chance it gets. For example: you'd be crouching behind cover, ready to move in a firefight and you press the button to stand up but lo and behold, someone has started to talk to you and the button to stand up now only slowly skips dialogue with a bad glitch effect. This game is **** impossible to play and I really don't think you should. Trust me, the story isn't worth it.    … Expand

    Don't get me wrong my pc is strong enough to handle this game but this game just sucks. There's no meaning in the answers you give to the npc's. You can't do anything in night city except just some lame side missions. The lag is so annoying that i thought it was a joke

    Really sad to see those NPC without interaction and without any realistic behaviour.

Также такая оценка выходит исходя из обещаний разрабов, которые говорили, что к релизу игроки, скорее всего, не заметят багов, ибо игра максимально вышлифована. Город абсолютно мёртвый, механики стелса, стрельбы, вождения иПроект, уничтоженный амбициями CDPR. 2 балла - это, конечно, не совсем адекватная оценка, но учитывая баги на старте и абсолютно скучный геймплей такое поставить можно.     After several years of lies in every trailer and interview saying "choices matter and shape the world around you" we got a visual novel where dialogues have 1 (!) answer option. Sometimes they have 2 or even 3, but they either all    I dont even want to repeat everything that everyone has already said about bugs and tech issues, I only want to say how disappointing the gameplay itself is.
    After several years of lies in every trailer and interview saying "choices matter and shape the world around you" we got a visual novel where dialogues have 1 (!) answer option. Sometimes they have 2 or even 3, but they either all lead to the exact same outcome, changing nothing but a single sentence, or are there just for lore purposes (as in "tell me more information, that will not effect anything at all anyway").
    The world itself is boring an not interesting to explore. Everything around is basically a cardboard background with barely any available interactions. Almost all side activities on the map are "get to the area, neutralize the bad guys, loot an item, leave" rinse and repeat a hundred times. "Crime and punishment" system looks like it was supposed to be similar to GTA, but at the same time devs didnt want to copypaste a GTA system, so it just doesnt work. For example: I've shot a guy (marked as a bounty, but the game wouldnt care about it) with a muzzled gun in an empty room with no witnesses, game still gave me a star, cops spawned out of thin air right next to the place i was in, were not able to get inside and see me and disappeared into thin air once again in a few seconds when the star wore off.

    To summarize: the game would have been good, if it released in 2014, but in december 2020 it looks like a joke. Every promise made by developers turned out to be a lie. Apparently all their budget was spent on Keanu Reeves and performers who made the music for the game, I just fail to see any other excuse for a game being such a terrible mess after 8 years of development. Even if they make a thousand patches and fix the technical part, nothing will help the dialogues and worldbuilding. So far cyberpunk 2077 loses any comparison I can think of - Deus Ex was a better cyberpunk genre RPG; GTA and RDR have a much better world; even the story in cyberpunk is pretty average compared to other story-driven games (meaning the main storyline of course, since side quests in cp2077 are basically fetch requests with barely any actual story).
    The only way for CDPR now is to announce Witcher 4 and milk what is left of that cow, they just cant make a brand new game good if it doesnt have a massive background written in 7 books.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
