    Just a poor game and a poor effort by the studio.
    Poor performance, poor graphics, full of bugs, badly optimised. Not as open as expected.
    Not very cyberpunk.

    O jogo é muito bom, as quest. são muito bem elaboradas, porém o jogo ta mau otimizado e cheio de bugs. Além de não ter grande interação com os NPCS como foi dito q teria, quase não consigo acessar áreas internas, pois diz que a porta está "Trancada", e mesmo com o equipamento para arrombar porta não é possível abrir, isso esta limitando bastante a exploração, visto em conta que a maioriaO jogo é muito bom, as quest. são muito bem elaboradas, porém o jogo ta mau otimizado e cheio de bugs.     Gun gameplay is bad compare to other shooters (it feels like a downgraded borderlands)

    Before I review the game I want to state that I meet/surpass all the minimum system requirements provided by CD Projekt Red's support page. My OS: 64-bit Windows 7, CPU: Intel i7-4790, RAM: 16GB, GPU: Rtx 2060 super (8GB Vram) and lastly a SSD with plenty of left over space (200GB).

    The substance, (the story, the characters, the animations, the music, the combat etc) is amazing. CD    Before I review the game I want to state that I meet/surpass all the minimum system requirements provided by CD Projekt Red's support page. My OS: 64-bit Windows 7, CPU: Intel i7-4790, RAM: 16GB, GPU: Rtx 2060 super (8GB Vram) and lastly a SSD with plenty of left over space (200GB).

    The substance, (the story, the characters, the animations, the music, the combat etc) is amazing. CD Projekt Red put a lot of time and work on this game and delayed it multiple times over to make sure it's, "coming out when it's ready". However, in it's current state the game lacks a lot of fine tunning and technical stability. The game will crash randomly even at the lowest settings and with constant fps drops in cpu and gpu heavy areas such as when you're driving around in night city. Honestly, it's unplayable right now because you can't really play a game where you lose progress all the time at random.

    I uninstalled the graphic drivers about four times with DDU in safe mode and installed the up to date nvidia drivers provided by their website. My graphics card is brand new. I'm not the only one with technical problems either.

    I don't recommend this game right now. It's not a complete game from a renowned company such as CD Projekt Red who knew that the game was going to sell well and still decided to release it unfinished when it clearly needed 4-6 more months of stability optimization and fine tunning the systems to make this game a masterpiece.

    What I don't like especially is seeing this kind of business practice from CDPR. I don't want games unfinished today and I have to wait weeks and months to be able to play the game I paid full price for. The game should have been released in 2021 around March and May to adhere to the statement, "coming when it's ready". They already made back their development costs from pre orders alone so I don't believe for a second that they couldn't wait 4-6 more months and release a proper experience for players of all platforms to enjoy.    … Expand

    I really wanted this game to be something we polish people can be proud of. But it's not even finished. It's REALLY NOT FINISHED. The city feels empty, NPCs are dumb as **** If you stop your vehicle on the road, AI will just stop instead of driving around. Dunno how could they release a game in a state like this.

    This game is a big mixed bag. There's a great story that lives up to the Blood and Whine writing, with a fantastic set of characters and some of the best acting in the gaming of recent years. There's a beautiful city and a very well crafted visuals... and on the other hand there's a game with very shallow game mechanics revolving about just so-so combat, and non-existent simulation (whichThis game is a big mixed bag. There's a great story that lives up to the Blood and Whine writing, with a fantastic set of characters and some of the best acting in the gaming of recent years. There's a beautiful city and a very well crafted visuals... and on the other hand there's a game with very shallow game mechanics revolving about just so-so combat, and non-existent simulation (which just makes you ask "why bother with an open world then"). Bugs on top, some of them game breaking (like key characters not showing up at all) are not even considered in the end score for me, as they will get patched eventually.

    If this game was an interactive movie of sorts, it would be straight 11/10. But as a game in this state and as a whole...    … Expand

    I literally had to stop playing due to the fact that I died multiple times because of tons of bugs. You know, maybe there is a nice story under that rubble of empty open world and millions of bugs but at this point I can't be bothered to dig up this mess.     Seriously, is this the state of 2020 AAA?!

    Bugs everywhere, gameplay mediocre at best,
    Npc from 2000, NO DRIVING AI(NO CHASE!),
    and a narration that tosses you in all directions without any sense.

    And the list goes far longer, but I don't want to lose my time on what I consider the biggest bulls**t of 2020.

    It's really pathetic.

    This game is one of a kind and masterfully crafted if you know what to expect. It is not an online game and not your typical GTA style running and gunning. It is unfortunately not as technically polished as people thought it would be, which is a shame because everything else is just so good: the music, sound, lore, weapons, animations, cars, characters, and more.

    Story-telling and roll-playing are the two main elements here. There are plenty of dialogue choices based on your life-path. You can choose the type of character that you want to be and act like one, which opens up distinctively different options of play-style, like stealth, sniper, hacker, engineer, or tank. Although the AI is rather basic, you can still get killed quite frequently if you do not manage your stats, gear, and approach. The stealth system is nothing fancy, but it works and does provide a fair amount of challenge.

    In terms of graphics, this game has set a new high benchmark. There is no equivalent game to-date with such a high level of attention to details and insane density. With ray-tracing enabled, the world is unbelievably immersive and beautiful. Yes, there are graphical glitches here and there occasionally, but, overall, one cannot deny how good the world looks.

    People giving it a zero score are likely blowing off their frustration with the technical issues of the game. This massive art-piece, which is a result of many years of work, is not even out for a week. Some have waited 7 years for this game to become a reality, so I believe you can wait a bit longer for CDPR to iron out the bugs too. Even with the imperfections, this game still packs a punch.

    At its current state, I will give it a 9/10. But knowing CDPR, they will fix most of the bugs eventually, making it a 10/10 masterpiece that it truly deserves.    … Expand

    The game is more than I ever hoped for - deep storyline, engaging quests and branching choices. Shooting is very reminiscent of Borderlands 3, very lootery, more than I expected. Anyway - although far from perfect tech wise, for sure it will be ironed out in the near future.

One moment you feel like you are roaming around like a bad ass capping street thugs and murders in this beautiful city and the next moment you see a woman halfway through the ground alongside a fatguy with PS1So much promise and this game can be 8 or 9 out of 10 at times, but the bugs, glitches and terrible performance just take you out of the game like 12 gauge straight in the face. Not to mention I was even running the game at stable FPS which a lot of people havent managed especially on the console versions.

    People like to complain about Bethesdas engine and while Fallout 4 was not a good game, at the end of the day, it worked as inteded even though the intention wasnt all that high quality.

    Maybe they can patch this game later on, which honestly would put this game at 8 or 9, but as it stands its not worth 70e. And honestly, I don't think this game will ever function as intended. Sad really.    … Expand

    Depois de anos produção e inúmeros adiamentos, mesmo assim o jogo foi lançado todo cagado para o PS4 e Xbox One. Bugs atrás de bugs, jogo crashou varias vezes, fps horrível chegando a ficar a 10. Lançaram já uns 3 patchs de correção e melhorou um pouco as coisas, mas ainda horrível. Lamentável lançarem um jogo assim

    An utter embarrassment and a shameful bat and switch scam by CDPR. Laughably simplistic gameplay two generations behind where a triple A title should be. Should face charges for false advertising. Will boycott anything this developer releases in the future. Shame on them.

    To give this game under 6/10 is just stupid, with the amazing story, graphics, leveling system.

    The reason I give this game a 9/10 is because a 10/10 game should be perfect in every shape or form.

    Leveling system: 10/10

    If you try to focus on all the good things the game have to offer and not all it's faults (that will be fixed) you will enjoy the heck out of this game. Am playing this on Stadia and havn't had a single issue with performance or crashes during my 15 hours of gameplay. Have experienced 3-4 glitch situations, mostly npcs walking through objects, nothing major.    … Expand

    After 27 hours of gaming. The beginning was a nightmare because the technical problems with the performance and bugs. But after the hot fix, the things got better. Not perfect, I had some stuttering, two craches. The history is amazing. The game is so deep. So many levels in the characters. Must play.

    I played it for the first 15 hours now and I must say this game is an masterpiece, one of the best games i've ever played. The story and characters in this game are incredible good and complex written. The open world is oaybe the best open world i've seen so far. The gameplay is I would say very good too. It's nothing special, just a solid and good gameplay system. I am playing with a gtx 1060 3gb vram and the game looks awesome. To be honest I don't understand we there are so many people that have problem with this game. I can understand it that the console players are pissed but what did they expect from 7 years old hardware? It just can't look as good as with a rtx 3080. The expectations of the comunity were partly pretty unconvertable aswell. I mean on the one hand side the game should look very good with the best hardware in the market but on the other side it should also run on 7 years old consoles?! Am I the only one who thinks that these expectations of the community were completely pointless? But all in one I think this game is a masterpiece and it also has the potential to be the game of the decade once the technological problems are fixed (Which will happen soon I suppose).     I've been very fortunate to not have had many issues on the base PS4. Aside from a few crashes after certain segments, I'm enjoying myself. Looking forward to seeing what this becomes on the PS5.

Есть две проблемы.     I'm really enjoying the game but the biggest issue for me that triggeres me the most is this bad performance. The bugs are annoying too but this performance on Pc and those micro stutters (especially when you are driving) are just so annoying. Pls fix this as fast as you can and im gonna change my score to 9

    Enjoying every single second of this experience. Never saw a game I liked so much. Even genius Witcher 3 was delightful at a bit lower scale for me (even though I will be fanboy forever.):). Great game. Now I'm going back to my V:)

    Remarkable game, if it were for more than regular crashes that stop the immersion right away, after 200+ crashes over 40 hours playing it on a platform matching recommended hardware specs! Aside from that, some parts of the city feel out of place, and not used within quests as much.     Loving the game so far, the content it provided so far was quite entertaining for me, read all shards I received, quite a few gave me a good lough :D, the combat is fun, I'm playing on hardest difficulty, so I tend to use most of what the game provides in terms of combat, it's fun to mix stealth, vision or hearing hacking so you could quietly assassinate groups of people or just bruteLoving the game so far, the content it provided so far was quite entertaining for me, read all shards I received, quite a few gave me a good lough :D, the combat is fun, I'm playing on hardest difficulty, so I tend to use most of what the game provides in terms of combat, it's fun to mix stealth, vision or hearing hacking so you could quietly assassinate groups of people or just brute force by just going ham with a legendary baseball bat and chugging down maxdocs (hoping to not get one shotted :D), so far I done all the gigs in Watson and Westbrook gonna continue doing them in other towns as well, in the end this game has the same quality to me as the Witcher series, the only problems I have with the game are the bugs ( though most of them are visual ones and gave me and my friends a good lough ;D) and the voice acting, which most of the time I find quite lack luster and can often ruin the immersion.… Expand

    Where to start with this game. After a mismanaged development, the game finally comes out riddled with bugs. With massive chunks of the story having been cut off. (After picking your background, the story skips one year into the future, ignoring any character development that should've happened there.)

    Other than that, the game's mechanics feel 5 or 6 years old. Navigating the inventory's 3 different screen to dissassemble hundreds of similarly bad items is not fun. spending 4 minutes crafting your cosumable one by one is not fun.

    The guns have an amazing visual and sound design, under deserved by spongy ennemies that make gunfight feel sluggish and innefective.

    As for the story, and the world design, the game does not carry its name properly. Cyber it might be, but Punk it ain't. The main character got no ideals beside Survival, and Silverhand carries a 50 years old legacy into a world that stayed weirdly stilted since Cyberpunk 2020. If it wasn't for the charm of Keanu reeves, his character would have been deeply unpleasant. Thanks to Keanu's amazing likability, Silverhand is simply a grouchy misanthropic character dragging old revenge fantasies with very little ideological mainstay.

    The world has very little self reflection in it, in a lot of ways this "dystopia" seems to ignore the ways our real world is **** up. I've seen very little elements of critique of our society (which was the whole point of cyberpunk in the 80.) or our economy. (I remember the corp book 1 opening on a very real description of the way real world capitalism dipped its toes in darker things than the actual Cyberpunk world.)

    Cyber"punk" 77. Not the worst game ever but far from being a perfect game. And the empty shell of a story makes going through its actual gameplay, a chore.    … Expand

    It has been awhile since I played an RPG Game that has gotten you immersed in the environment as well as the story. Character attachments will make you feel sympathetic towards those characters. The choices you make whether good or bad will dictate how the story will proceed. Although this game does come with its flaws such as minor bugs that can be fixed within patches. I have not encountered to many bugs in my experience and For those who have played Skyrim and fallout understand F5 is an important feature and that those games were far from perfect as well but we still loved them with all their flaws. Overall I’d suggest buying the game if you do have a decent gaming rig that can at least hit 50 FPS because 50 is more than playable.… Expand

    I don't remember feeling such a deep disappointment no only in game itself, but in a studio as a whole.
    And I thought that BFV and Fallout 76 are bad games and studios that made them hit rock bottom.
    Now it feels like those game were great and those studios are not so bad in comparison.
    CD Project lost my trust forever. Still can't believe I was stupid enough to pre-order this garbage...

Games from circa 2005 had better traffic and crowd AI. Advertised features such as brain dance are unimplemented and it's fairly obvious they were meant to apply in more than just story mission. Police literally teleport right behind you. It's not an in universe thing either: they just pop in. Weapon mods are very scant and weapons and gear in general are only incremental changes based on leveling. Kind of makes crafting a waste of time.

    Out of all bugs, optimization and all of bad, there still good game you could enjoy, its really cool game. Eventually, its all depends on you: you want cool game with its own history of protagonist, or you want good graphics, good optimization, etc. I recommend you all to play this game, its still "breathtaking" with all of their bugs

    Sad to see that Cyberpunk was just another overhyped and underdelivered title.
    You just couldn't resist that sweet holiday release window, eh, CDPR? After ¬2 hours I've decided to give up this game entirely and not struggle any further.

    Completely broken on console, full of glitches, completely unfinished, has an absolutely atrocious AI (doesn't even have driving AI) and has absolutely no immersion. There's nothing to do other than do side missions and missions. Nothing. Can't get a drink or play minigames, literally nothing. The city is just a good looking loading screen.

    They (CDPR) will make optimization, dlc, multiplayer, fix bugs and it will be 10 out of 10. If we close our eyes to optimization and bugs, then I put 9 out of 10, for the plot, graphics, atmosphere and music.

    Amazing experience, has me fully immersed and I can't put my controller down! Many days of minimal sleep has been had. Highly recommend - Once patches have been released to fix issues.

А теперь приправим это все бесчисленным количеством багов, которые не дают тебе погрузиться в атмосферу игры, потому что, то колесо зажует и во время серьезного диалога оно скрипит у вас в ухе, то в погоне убивая водителя авто он вылетает через текстуру крыши, и как иисус христос лежит сверху, про оптимизацию даже не буду ничего писать, адекватные люди сами поймут что это просто ужас ебаный, а эксперты скажут что у них на их gtx 960 на высоких все отлично работает и вы просто доебываетесь, похвалить игру можно только, в постановке кат-сцен заскриптованных, там все выглядит хорошо. Ну в заключении, что сказать, бюджет больше чем у RDR2, качество уровень - любой инди-студии которые выпустили игру в ранний доступ, 8 лет разработки, игра года, спасибо… Expand

    I haven't played a worse game than Cyberpunk 2077. I encountered probably 20+ bugs and glitches over 20 hours of gameplay, some forcing me to restart missions completely or reverting back to an old save. The enemies are bulletspongey as hell, you have to spray around 1-2 mags into an enemy for them to die (Normal Difficulty), the ending was honestly so disappointing and so was the performance.

    i'm loving it so far! I'm 25+ hours in and doing alot of the side activities and side quests. not that far into the main quest yet but i got the chip and met Rouge so im past the prolog at least.
    Im on geforce now and only had one big bugg so far, i fell through the map when i smashed into the wall at full speed but spawned back up again after dropping 30m and drove away like nothing    i'm loving it so far! I'm 25+ hours in and doing alot of the side activities and side quests. not that far into the main quest yet but i got the chip and met Rouge so im past the prolog at least.
    Im on geforce now and only had one big bugg so far, i fell through the map when i smashed into the wall at full speed but spawned back up again after dropping 30m and drove away like nothing happned. 2-3 ciggs have been floating in the air during conversations. Nothing more.
    The one thing i would like too see is a few RPG elements added. Like getting tattoos and changing hair and stuff like that. Fell like it wouldn't be impossible to even add a certain Ripperdoc that will put you into the character creation again for a full do over.(One exists in the game already anyways).

    Had multiple issues starting the game.
    Terrible NPC, driving and cop AI. The world isn't anywhere near as interactive as I thought it would be.

    To say it hasn't lived up to the hype would be an understatement.

    Ok now onto the negatives. The UI/menus/map are all a mess. The map in particular is awful. Gunplay feels terrible, I know from the witcher that gameplay/combat wasn't the dev's strong point from playing the Witcher 3 but the gunplay feels like it's at least 2 gens old. Then there's the bugs, NPCs walking through doors/cars. Item's floating in mid air. Cut scenes cutting out half way through. Game crashes. Mini-map directions sending you into dead ends. The list is endless.

    Like I said at the start, there's a good game in their somewhere but the developers really should have delayed it further at the minimum. It's frankly embarrassing they've chosen to release it in it's current state. I'd recommend waiting until they've patched some of the bugs, or even wait for a GOTY edition in a couple of years time where hopefully all the major hiccups have been sorted, plus it'll be much cheaper!    … Expand

    I'll give this game a point for graphics and a point for music also one point for fixing this mess at least to the point it plays better than CoD: Cold War. As for the rest it plays and looks like a cheap and annoying version of GTA. And did I mention that for most of the time, it's boring!

    Игру несомненно можно поругать за большое число багов и за плохую физику повреждений ( особенно машин) , но это уникальный случай когда баги и вылеты не омрачают кайф от самого игрового процесса и даже перепрохождение одного итого же места из-за бага не вызывает ненависти к проекту. Игра очень интересная и не обычная и явно станет поворотной точкой будущих игровых проектов.     I'll start with the most painful and unpleasant ... bugs. Who is this testing, cleaning lady? Wow, it was interesting to see what they were going to release to us in April ... How much noise and hype there was, this is **** Each dog has pre-ordered the game ... even those who play only in DOTA and CS. No, well, the marketing department can give a standing ovation, the guys are great. We were able to sell a pen.

    In principle, nothing new, this is already stability with CDPR projects. But again, one main question arises ... how is it tested? Well, did everything go smoothly? Am I damned or what? In 10 minutes I have bugs that make me want to laugh, cry and facepalm at the same time.

    I play on 2 different computers, I will describe the most common bugs
    - dead NPCs talking
    - cars, people go to textures, fall through
    - if you turn your head around, NPCs disappear, change ... cars the same way. As in its time in Vice City
    - objects, models appear out of thin air
    - objectives of tasks are not counted
    - disappears facial animation of characters
    - instead of walking animation, characters float
    - objects are hanging in the air ... cans, packs of food, etc.
    - often you can't get loot from the dead enemy, you can't pick up an object
    - the sound of shooting disappears

    Gameplay
    - Driving a car, clumsy, oak .. as in... I even know he knows what to compare with.
    - Shooting ... remember in Hitman Contracts (for example) there was an opportunity to shoot in the first person? It all looked like hell, the camera was simply sewn into the hero's head ... here the same impression is created. As if you are some kind of mechwarrior, the guns are separate and the body is separate.
    - Cardboard city, dummy inhabitants who walk back and forth. Well, somehow the world does not cling to, you don’t believe, you don’t penetrate. It is impossible to "live" in it. Yes, you can go to a bar, take a whore, and that's basically all. There is no simulation of life so that you can play out a kind of RP.
    - A separate item ... NPCs and everything related to them, animations, behaviour like in Morrowind? Well, this is fierce game.
    - Difficulty levels, all right. With the increase, the game turns into some kind of Division with numbers and "10 HOURS I SHOOT A MOBU IN THE HEAD AND HE DOESN'T DIE WATCH WITHOUT SMS"
    - Balance as much as possible, swing survival and hacking. the rest is not ****ed up at all. Long live the branch of the technique, which I was not going to pump, but had to. stealth branch ... it's just ridiculous bull****, nonsense.
    - dumb AI

    Maybe I was giving too much hope to myself? From the very first announcement in my head, I imagined a kind of mixture of the RPG component of The Witcher + GTA with its city, dynamics, freedom and richness. If you take something fresh for example ... Red Dead Redemption 2... comparing these games is funny ... in terms of ... everything. For some reason, I was sure that this game would become a kind of sensation and cult. But in fact, this is a meme game. I imagined that GTA, Deus Ex and Syndicate would have the Witcher and something super-mega would be born ... but it turned out Borderlands with Morrowind again.

    It seems that I bought the game from EA. But, even if it becomes super-ideal, I realized one thing for myself ... no more, no pre-orders    … Expand

    The most awe inspiring graphics game I have ever played period. Great story, after 60+ hrs of playing and doing most of the side missions i got a great ending with plenty of choices. The visual bugs are annoying and get me out of the immersion the game creates. I didn't get any major bugs except an enemy not dying which was the final one to clear the level. had to restart the game. IThe most awe inspiring graphics game I have ever played period.     Great game so far! I just beat the game as a Street Kid with 50hrs of gameplay.. (Didn't do a whole lot of side quests the first time).
    My only issue with the game is that it's called CyberPUNK. PUNK. And the number of times they try to force us to help the police in the game, is a bit ridiculous. Helping the cops is NOT PUNK. At All. Punks HATE COPS.

    I'm running a GTX1060 6GB with 32Gigs RAM, an i7 7700k CPU, with the game installed on an SSD.
    It runs GREAT on Low settings for me during any activity. I can run it on High as well with only minor choppiness during driving, no choppiness when not driving, so I switch between settings, low for driving, high when not.

    Bugs and glitches should be expected when a game is launched, especially one of this magnitude.. that being said I have encountered tons of minor bugs, but nothing game breaking, and no game crashes.    … Expand

Sadly there is no real defining high point so far but plenty of negatives, I won't go in to detail about all of the negatives but I will highlight the most prominent ones. In the 7 hours or so of gameplay so far I've experienced at least 5 bugs, 2 visual, 3 AI related. Playing on normal I'veVery disappointing is how I would describe Cyberpunk 2077 if I could only use a few words to do it. Sadly there is no real defining high point so far but plenty of negatives, I won't go in to detail about all of the negatives but I will highlight the most prominent ones. Playing on normal I've also found AI to be exceedingly stupid, 80% of the time the AI will just try to bum rush me leading to their swift, imminent death. When the AI isn't doing this they are completely ignoring me to shoot at other AI even when I am standing right next to them shooting them. PC controls are also garbage as there are a lot of keys you flat out cannot bind. A lot of gameplay mechanics tend to also be an awkward mix of RPG and FPS elements mashed together, for example the "armour" you wear also helps with your "street cred", however inexplicably you can pick up items that look like a 70 year olds cardigan and somehow that will give you more street cred than the cool leather biker jacket you have on. This mechanic simply is not needed, nor is it welcome due to the broken nature of it especially with so many other ways you can improve street cred. Graphically the game is a real letdown as well it is painfully obvious this game has been made to run on 7+ year old console hardware. If you upgraded your GPU special for this game you wasted your money it'll run nicely on an overclocked RX580/590 with optimised memory timings. In my case that means £370 needlessly down the drain in total as I went and spent £320 on a 5700XT expecting this game to at least try and push some sort of boundary... it does not.

    TLDR; Wait for the proper next gen version of the game as this version should have been aborted before birth.    … Expand

To say this is near a decade in the making, I’d love to know what CDPR’s staff have been working on, cause it clearly wasn’t Cyberpunk 2077. That’s not to say it’s bad. It’s not. But the. It’s not exactly good either. It’s very pretty. The plot is passable, but beyond that it’s little more than a re-skin of Watchdogs with a few more mechanics thrown in for good measure. Overall though beyond the story and the looks, it’s not great. Combat is clunky. Driving is just... bad. The hacking mechanics leave a lot to be desired, with it being little more than ‘press X to hack’ with an optional mini game thrown in for good measure. Heck, they even ripped off the memory editing mechanics from Remember Me, a game more deserving of respect than the subject of this review. As for the cyberpunk aspect, I feel like they took a hint from Ernest Clines writing here - throwing in references to other cyberpunk works and borrowing heavily/stealing from them does not make your game cyberpunk. It barely scratches the surface of the theme and is, if anything “cyberpunk adjacent” at best. They had the potential to really dig into a lot of the ideas and tropes that underpin this genre. Instead they payed them lip service at best. It may get better over time. But honestly. That’s not something we should be counting on, nor should we forgive the mess of a release because it can be fixed post launch. CDPR engaged in some very **** behaviour, not just surrounding constant delays, enforced crunch and more, but also disallowing reviews until launch day, hyping the game in such a way as to make millions in preorders and the rest. This is not behaviour to be encouraged, we as gamers should be ripping them apart over this. What’s worse is the other games that have been delayed to avoid being ‘railroaded by the juggernaut of CP2077’ we may have actually had something decent to play this holiday season that’s worthy of our money. As it stands we have to hope that CDPR continue to patch and improve the game, quickly. I’m not sure just itching it will improve all of the issues but they’ll at least be able to get the bugs ironed out. I hope.… Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
