    The narrative is good, the history catch u and introduce you to the world, then you find that the world is absolutely broken, secondary missions bugged and it disappoints you to the point that the main story doesn't matter and u hate finding a bug every 10 seconds.

    What can I say? One of the best games I've ever played. The story just kept me on playing for long hours. The game has few let downs - graphic bugs, mechanics could be better and the optimisation is not there - but I have good enough PC to play it on almost ultra with ray tracing and no fps drops. Other than that I'm enjoying it very much. Story is told in such a way that it feels like youWhat can I say? One of the best games I've ever played. The story just kept me on playing for long hours.     Cyberpunk 2077 es un juego increíble, a falta de pulido en consolas, jugando en pc y ps4 fat se nota la diferencia pero para nada la versión de consolas se merece una soga al cuello, muy disfrutable a pesar de los fallos en resolución y framerate, ultra enganchado a night city

    One of the most immersive open worlds i've ever played underlined with good quality writing, soundtrack, and enjoyable combat. Driving feels a bit undercooked, but I would hope that can be addressed in future updates. Enemy AI is probably the most disappointing element, but it feels like that can be improved a lot with inevitable patching.

    CDPR have definitely got something special here and it's a shame they had to push it out with so little polish - because despite that it is a fun ride on a decent pc.    … Expand

    So many bugs... MANY... Not some or a few... A LOOOT of bugs in a 9 years developed game.

    I don't need to say more, just watch videos in Youtube and see the reality of this game.

    Main story is worth it all, 10 out of 10 in that regard. There are many bugs and some side quests minssion are repetetive but it's still worth your every penny just for the sake of the campaign and its visuals and music.

    It’s a great game, despite some minor bugs/glitches (at its current version 1.04 there is really not that many of them anyway). The main story is well written and experience is truly wonderful.

    I'm one of the people who waited for this game since the announcement back in 2012. I've lived through years of silence, then the "beep", gameplay trailers, announcements, presentations, resulting hype and global excitement. I was devastated reading the first reviews of bug ridden and disappointing release with wooden Keanu, game crashes, performance issues and how CDPR is now compared toI'm one of the people who waited for this game since the announcement back in 2012. I've lived through years of silence, then the "beep", gameplay trailers, announcements, presentations, resulting hype and global excitement. I was devastated reading the first reviews of bug ridden and disappointing release with wooden Keanu, game crashes, performance issues and how CDPR is now compared to the likes of EA / Ubisoft releasing unfinished product without caring about their fanbase.

    But after playing it myself I honestly and objectively can say that this is the first game this year that got me hooked so much. I'm a seasoned gamer and I don't have much time to play anymore but I'm almost 30 hours in and enjoying every moment.

    The story is interesting, the atmosphere very immersive and the visuals stunning. There is so much to see and do and just sightseeing on foot feels incredible. I personally enjoy the driving model (so much better than Legions for example), the gunplay and the RPG elements. Game is hard (I play on hard difficulty) but it makes the whole experience even more rewarding. Took me 3 hours to finish The Heist mission on non-lethal :)

    Yes, there are bugs but nothing game breaking for me so far. A few clipping issues, glitches etc. Having said that I play on i7 8700k and RTX 3070 pulling stable 60fps with RT on 3440 x 1440p gsync monitor. Unfortunately this game was made for powerful PCs and next gen consoles...

    I feel very sorry for PS4 / Xone / midrange PC gamers who waited for so long but now struggle so much with the game and see CDPR as a cursed villain. I can only imagine how disappointed I'd be if it was me. Devs should not have released this game on PS4 / Xone in this state. I hope it gets fixed so gamers of all platforms can enjoy it.

    But this review is of my experience on PC and my experience has been 10 / 10 so far. Can't wait to go back to Night City and keep exploring!    … Expand

    Masterpiece in storytelling and world building. RPG elements are amazing. I cant believe that some people are attacking CDPR for this game. Amazing.
    Maybe go play Minecraft or Fortnite

    most negative reviews are just a bunch of angry poor dudes with budget pcs making a fuss cuz according to them the game is "poorly optimized" just beacuse they cant achieve playable fps with their **** pcs or their **** ps4's, it runs great if you have a series 20 and up graphics card, it looks beautiful.

    Excellent game, Night City is truly breathtaking, driving, shooting, stealth is fun and satisfying. Bugs are there, but surely will be eliminated and are forgivable at such a scope of a game.

    Everything about this game is epic and excellent! There are bugs, but they are rarely game breaking and are easy to recover from (usually just have to reload to fix). It's just released so it'll get patched to remove the bugs in due time. I cannot recommend this game more regardless.

    Utterly atrocious. Knowing that the developers of this made Witcher 3, this is an embarrassment. The graphics are crap, there are so many bugs it's ridiculous, and we waited nine years for this steaming pile of trash. I don't care if I can customize my dick, if I can't even play the game. I'd rather play Fallout 76 than this trash pile, and that's saying something.

    CP2077 is a really unique game. Never saw something similar before. The graphics are stunning on ultra. I never experienced so much reality in a game before. Some things could have been done better for sure... but the main point is that this is just the beginning. Now the red engine 4 has so many samples that they could easily add DLC    I can’t understand why people are so disappointed(?)

The story is catchy and also nothing I experienced before. You should focus on all the small details that they’ve built in. Just stunning! The lights are very impressive, all NPC look different, the main character graphics are detailed... and much more. Yes. It is a little buggy but there was no bug that made my eyes roll so far. Hope they will fix all of them in the next few months.
    I am trying to understand the developers and their vision. Much more I want to understand the difficulty building a future realistic game. I think some employees of the company made huge mistakes that couldn’t be fixed until the release. Nobody is perfect. They spent over a quarter billion dollars in this project. This made me think about that they’re trying very hard for years. I have to appreciate this! There are bunch of games out there that don’t deliver the messages CD Projects try to deliver: It is possible to make a game that stands out with the tech we have nowadays. What makes me very happy is the fact that a game like this will force other developers to produce similar good games - if they not nobody will buy them. This is the first step to future. I mean look at the **** game that was shown as next gen for ps5 in tomb raider optics... It looks so 2014 to me and a nice graphic can’t just solve this.

    The main storyline has close to 0 choices (there's few hidden ones but quite scarce). Silverhand is just a crying baby going "I hate corporations I want freedom now!" 24/7. There's no "life" in cyberpunk world. It's a massive cityscape, riddled with copy and paste 3 types of activity - Kill group of gangers (3-5 guys) Kill den of gangers (5-10 guys + mini boss), "side" quest (takes 1-4 minutes depending if you're attempting stealth or not.

    I did play entire game on hardest difficulty ever since the begging - there's just no joy to be had here. Only suffering of things that we all expected, but never got. The gold age of CDPR is over.    … Expand

    Hilarious on these reviews. The same people whining about base model gameplay were the same ones threatening the developers on twitter for delaying it. Just shows how emotionally stunted a lot of people are and the overuse of SSRIs. Children for real. That said, 40 hours in on the ps5 already and I LOVE IT. Always satisfied playing it. Side quests better than main story. Lotta depth. Amazing.

    I would put Cyberpunk up there with other CDP games like the witcher. There is an immense scale to the world which is fun to explore. Characters are engaging and storytelling is compelling. Driving is great fun. Gun play is satisfying. There's hundreds of hours to be enjoyed if this game is your niche.

    Geeez, this game is very addictive. The world is the most beautiful open, wild, and crazy thing that I have ever seen in my gaming life. Yeah maybe bugs can sometimes screw up good gameplay, but the storyline just with amazing perfection justifies those bugs completely. I’m really happy to get this game on pc and also on PS4 in slim version even if it is completely neglected version, IGeeez, this game is very addictive. The world is the most beautiful open, wild, and crazy thing that I have ever seen in my gaming life. Yeah maybe bugs can sometimes screw up good gameplay, but the storyline just with amazing perfection justifies those bugs completely.     GIving "only" 9/10. Little bit buggy but thats not the problem, at least its more funny :D. Issue is with the performance, ran game on High 1440p on my RTX 2070 Super. Sometimes framerate dropped under 40 fps, which is annoying. All in all, this game is as good as The Witcher 3. Gonna play it again!

    So far the story, characters and overall world is 10/10 but the combat, driving and the bugs that are in the game right now make it a 9/10. Once Cd project reds fixes those issues which I trust they will, this game will most certainly be a 10/10.

    Game runs smoothly on my PC, the plot is not so obvious at first look and optimalisation is just a matter of time, have some faith.
    All in all, for me, this was love at first sight and I know for sure, that I will spend much more time exploring    10/10, I think Cyberunk is without a doubt the best game this year. Yeah, some people might disagree, because of bugs or sth (I don't really care).

    Yes it has graphical bug and the odd glitch here and there, however in just over 50 hours of play the story gripped me unlike any game in recent years. The writing and art direction of this game is incredible. The only thing that let it down for me was the driving but that is just my opinion.

    This game is amazing ! I do not understand all the negative posts on the optimisation (on PC). I play it with a i5 / GTX 1060 / 16GB RAM laptop and its works perfectly (average details, 1080p, 30fps). The story is amazing and there is so much to do in Night City ! Sure there are some bugs, but, after 20h, nothing prejudicial. So, please, just play the game before criticize it !

    Gunplay is a joke. No good explanations about stealth/hacking (tutorials are so generic, can’t use this knowledge in missions). Dialogues are boring. Decisions don’t matter, cause you don’t feel them and you will never know/see/feel which choice would have been a better one. Awful interface design. Overloaded.    Shame on you CDPR!

    Gra jest świetna, im dłużej siedzę w tym uniwersum tym bardziej mi się podoba, mimo licznych glitch'y i błędów, produkcja jest jak najbardziej grywalna i przyjemna. Optymalizacja ssie- to prawda, ale która gra nie posysała na premierę? Ogólne polecam

    Con las 20 horas de juego que llevó, quiero decir mi opción por puntos claves.
    1.los bugs y glitches, rendimiento en xone que es donde juego, en realidad despues del nuevo parche fps no me bajan casi nunca, y los bugs no voy a mentir me parecen muy graciosos y la verdad no me importunan mucho.
    2. La jugabilidad me parece hermosa, lo tiroteos se me hacen adictivos lo juego en difícil y    Con las 20 horas de juego que llevó, quiero decir mi opción por puntos claves.

    3.historia y gráficos, Misiones no eh hecho mucho apenas me paso el prólogo y me pierdo e. Nigth City matando o comprando luteando mejorando a v, los personajes keanu revées se me hacen buen actuados y me quedo viendo sus movimientos fáciles estan a otro mundo.
    4.nigth City, la ciudad es hermosa incultos en 720 p y 30 fps que es lamentable pero bueno me pierdo es así no se hay viaje rápido pero prefiero comerme 5 km a usarlo, diseños impresionantes y los enemigos los malestroms son muy buenos en diseño, en mi opinion.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I got this game on GoG and I'm running it on an RTX 3090, 64GB ram suffice to say I have not being hard hit by mayor bugs. IT sucks this has been an awful experience for those in current gen consoles.

    I'm giving it a 90 because for what it was worth, the game is an amazing experience indeed, very well written side qeust and it seems you don't run out of things to do in Night City. It's all very entertaining

    There is a thing or two CDPR could learn from other open world developers like RockStar, who have had plenty of chances to iterate their own environments. Specially when it comes to NCP enemy AI. As Geralt of Rivia, very few people were expected to piss off the guards while you run away from them so it never felt weird to have them spawning behind you while you run away to a distance safe enough for them to chill. NCPD should behave differently. a cool Idea would be to have fixed PD's to function as spawn points across the map when you get a bounty, have drones tracking you down NCPD knowing your location trough street CCTV's systems. Giving you the ability to run away to a safehouse, run out of the district or hacking specific terminals so you can make them go blind on you long enough for them to lose you, just an Idea.

    IT seems every quest was designed brilliantly, but the off quest states sometimes can be immersion breaking. There is one main job where you have to attend this huge parade, then run away from Arasaka and NCPD. At first the place was crowed, filled with people. As soon as you exit the building the streets are deserted This could have been easily adverted by having V running to a safehouse to hide until it was safe to be out while the normal map resources load.

    For what it was worth this was a huge project to be done from scratch and it shows. Other than that my experience has been amazing and I hope CDPR is able to come around and make it so more people could have the same amazing experience as I had.

    Suffice to say, it is very likely their own commitments to shareholders, preorders etcetera is what forced them to keep PS4 and XBOX one versions as POR. Technically the wisest decision should have been cancelling them and making the game next gen only. Due to the unfortunate release window amidst the transition of console generations that would have meant a million or so potential copies unsold. I'm certain technical leads in the company gave that logical solution a thought, so they could focus their efforts in the next gen consoles but that would have enraged shareholders so they were very much in a chokehold.     Well, i just concluded my 58hr playthrough and im no where near done yet! I played on the hard difficulty and on a very beefy system with a 3080 and it was a hell of an experience, the game has some bugs but for me they didn't hinder my experience. The game for me would be a 10 but since the ps4 and xbox one's base versions where and still are really bad but it was still a fantasticWell, i just concluded my 58hr playthrough and im no where near done yet!     В игре чертовски хватает проблем, от ломания скриптов дополнительных квестов, до проваливания машин под текстуры дорог (за всё время игры, у меня это было лишь ОДИН раз)
    Оптимизация - на своём i3 9100f и 1660 + 16 ddr4 2400 и ssd с алика, я лучшего не ожидал, играть комфортно, это не соревновательный шутер где нужно минимум 70 фпс.
    Я без понятия сколько это ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ делалось, но та атмосфера Найт - Сити, которую я увидел - стоило того, чтобы ждать этот кусок багов, который я полюбил после ДВАДЦАТИ минут игры.
    После концовки, которая как понял была "хорошая", я выкурил две сигареты залпом, тот драйв в основной ветке сюжета просто овладел моим разумом, это определённо игра уровня AAA проекта.
    Я с радостью приобрету сюжетные дополнения, которые явно пододвинулись в сроках из-за патчей.
    И куплю чёртов мультиплеер, если он будет отдельной игрой.
    Всем спасибо, кто поставит лайк или дизлайк.
    P.S Это лично мой отзыв, моё мнение, и опираться при покупке игры на него не стоит абсолютно.

I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone with the lowest quality graphics and a series of bugs.     I play this on my PS5 so performance wise is fine, but bug and gameplay wise it's awful. I've reported about 50 bugs in 3 days of play.

    The core story is good but the open world stuff is just dull af, it's the same 3 side quest arcs copy and paste all over the huge map.

And I have around 30-40 Fps, and its totally fine for me, it is similar to Horizon Zero Dawn in terms of optimisation,(in my experience on my system) when I turn it to 1080p and high settings I get 40-50 fps, so it isnt worth it for me to play in fullhd instead of 2k for a ~10fps fps differnce, so I would say the parformance on PC is ok, sure 60 fps would be better, and sure it could be better, but its ok, and it will get better will patches in the future. In terms of bugs Ive played around 25h and there were some small bugs like flying items, but nothing dramatic. The game has some problems, and I do not protect CDPR for them, I just wanna say: dont focus on the negative, it is a great game, with a big and high detailed world (I love night city!… Expand

    Absolutely great game! Experienced some minor glitches but the story is amazing, the gameworld with all its details is crafted beautifully. I can't stop playing it. Love it. Game of the year for me. 9/10 because of the minor glitches but nothing that really bothers me. When this gets fixed it's a 10/10 definitely.

This is a PC review so I wont get into console issues cause quite honestly, I don't care about it.

    This game has a LOT to offer, RPG mechanics like skill trees/crafting are super solid, you can play builds that are completely different from each other and still remain effective which helps a lot with replayability. There are choices in the game left and right, while most of them aren't impactful, a sizeable portion of them do affect the story in main/side missions as well as your relationships with other characters, having a back story (corpo/street kid/nomad) does offer certain dialogue choices too depending on your background which adds flavor to the game.

    Story's top notch, probably my most favorite element of the game, voice acting compliments the story greatly, it's so well-written, makes you care for your character as well as other characters, some missions don't even have any combat whatsoever still they hit hard and are very memorable just because of how beautifully written they are (especially one of Judy's mission where u go diving, not gonna say more) The story's conclusion isn't your typical ride into the sunset ending u find in videogames, it honestly hit hard and left me filled with existential dread after finishing it woulda liked the main story to be somewhat longer though.

    Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand was a stroke of genius, and he isn't just there for a few missions he's there all the way, you see him all the time in main missions as well as almost all of the side missions. His character compliments yours greatly, he has his own perspective on things and he does make great conversations.

    Speaking of the side missions, this game has some of the best side missions gaming has to offer, not kidding, some of those missions have better stories than other games have had in their mainline story missions. All of em are so well voice acted, have plots that are serious, dreadful, funny, depressing or a mix of all four.

    Gameplay is truly remarkable, guns feel really good and impactful, there is a wide variety of weapons to choose from and each type feels unique, combat is pretty rad albeit tough at first but once u get down your build right it just clicks.

    The only thing CDPR did wrong was not giving themselves a PROPER amount of time when they announced the first delay, i am willing to bet that some people within the company would've liked to delay it for a while more to hash out the bugs but having being delayed three times already they would've lost their credibility. Still, developing a game for PC as well as four other consoles AND stadia, that is bound to hurt the development cycle especially since most games are developed for just three platforms only (PC/PS/XBOX). Also, COVID-19 has to be taken into account as the staff had to work from home for quite some time (they probably still do not sure) which is not very efficient.

    Still, once this game has had some time, once the bugs have been hashed out it'll be nothing short of perfect. 10/10 game that sets the bar high for any other RPG of this new decade. 100% would recommend. Just give it some time, cut the developers some slack and understand that for a massive undertaking such as this game there is bound to be problems at first.    … Expand

    The game is very good, I ran the game on an i5 gtx 1070, 1440p, on medium resolution, and it doesn't drop below 35 fps. It was a great experience. You have to take this game slowly, it is a unique experience, you don't have to treat it like a fps shuter mess. it's not borderlands crap

    Great story, pretty visuals, and that's it. Not an RPG, no meaning to choices, "open world" is empty and meaningless to explore, and the gunplay/melee is worse than vanilla FO4. Once the storylines have been played out, there's no reason to stick around this game. Not what I thought I was buying, will use GOG's 30 day no questions asked refund policy.

    I play Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC with GeForce gtx1080Ti and I am so impressed that it looks really good. I play on Ultra settings and have more than 50 fps. The main story is so interesting but side quests are the masterpiece in my opinion.

    I won a pre-order of this game in a contest, I put a lot of effort into achieving the goal, and in the end, well, I received a graphics tech demo and a meme base.
    I'm a positive guy, when I started a game and encountered my first batch of glitches I thought: maybe it's because it's too early and day 1 patch shall fix this, otherwise bugs are minor for me,    Well, what to start with...
    I won a pre-order of this game in a contest, I put a lot of effort into achieving the goal, and in the end, well, I received a graphics tech demo and a meme base.

    I'm a positive guy, when I started a game and encountered my first batch of glitches I thought: maybe it's because it's too early and day 1 patch shall fix this, otherwise bugs are minor for me, being a graphics programmer myself and putting a lot of time into studying it I encountered those quite often.
    But as I progressed through the game it was starting to remind me more of a glass, filled with gameplay, graphical and logical bugs and glitches; zombie hands, sun switching on and off, transparency effects glitching out, stealth break through walls (notice meter would not stop), etc.
    I tried to stay strong, because RPG aspect stayed quite good in first two parts at least, glitches would make nothing but a memes, but then, something made me completely change my mind and made me regret wasting my time with this.

    This was the last drop for my patience and I shut down the game. I looked into relations list...
    I know, this is a bit of spoilers, but, I wanted to transfer myself into game, I wanted to embrace of what's going to become of me, I look androgynously in real life, being male, so I chose female body and made everything look similar and male voice. And then I discovered there's no chance of getting romance with any girl... This makes me feel depressed, I don't want to recreate character with female voice or a male one, that would break the effect.

    From that point continuation of the game feels emotionless, I could go shoot in any other game and 'twould be better, thief simulator aspect failed too, and from unaware NPCs turned out to be retarded.

    Economy on test groups didn't pay off, never repeat that mistake, CDPR.    … Expand

    This game needed at least another year of development. The shareholders probably pushed them to release it now bc of christmas and the next-gen console launch. Just sad, this could have been a true masterpiece.

    Updated this review after playing more, now at the 20 hour mark. It turned out to be an even bigger disappointment than I expected. I'm giving it a 3/10 because of the story, there are some awesome quests in this game, but that's all. In fact, large portions of the main story is cut and the promised non-linear quest system is not present. Basically, it has less main quest choices than Fallout 4, way less.
    It wasn't ready for release in this state, it still needs approx. two years of development. Less than 10% of the promised features an in the game. You can find a list over at Reddit.

    Good things:
    - Cyberpunk aesthetics.
    - City design.
    - That's all.

    Bad things:
    - Story is mediocre and linear with a few shining quests here and there. Most of the time you have zero choices. The non-linear quest system that was promised is NOT in the game, it's just a basic linear game with a few choice at the end.
    - RPG side is underdeveloped. It's essentially a placeholder for something real. **** perks and even **** skill trees.
    - Gameplay (combat) is below mediocre. 4/10.
    - Just to emphasize again there is a serious story related content cut and this unfortunately affects the game greatly. (The first thing you see 30 minutes in is the approx. 5 hours cut at the beginning).
    - Stealth is messy and too easy.
    - Performance issues, even on PC. On console this is abysmal. They shouldn't have released this on current-gen, despite the tears of the console peasants feeding my life force directly even I feel for them.
    - Many, many insane bugs. Just search Youtube for it.
    - Many unfinished features: Citizen AI is non-existent; they walk in straight lines. If you get a wanted level police officers teleport behind you literally. You can see them teleport. NPC driven cars have no real AI, they just follow a predefined path and if they can't then they just stop. Cars also move through walls. LOL
    - The entire city is shallow as **** no activities available.

    Small list of stuff they decided to cut:
    - No character history. (There was a deeper character history system in the early demos.)
    - Prologue for character history. Not the 30 minutes long **** currently available leading to the same quest.
    - Character history making an actual difference and not just fake choices which mean nothing.
    - Activities in the city.
    - Deep romance options; only a few ONS.
    - Two prostitues, one male, one female and that's all.
    - Actual RPG mechanics.
    - Combat AI is mediocre.
    - No other AI is present.
    - Deeply non-linear quests.
    - Basic non-linear quests.
    - Actual choices that matter.

    Don't buy in it's current state and it's probably never going to be finished unless they spend two years at minimum to actually make the game they promised.    … Expand

The action is really good, if you like fps shooters like me, there is an action level and hitting feel to satisfy you. Hacking in the game is very nice and useful, stealth is not a choice where you crouch and drown a man from behind, you may not need to hack and you may need to use silenced weapons. Apart from that, driving a car and a motor in the game is not good in the simulation mind or in a very mediocre situation. Of course, I said the pros and cons of the game were mixed, but if there is a minus, the game will come out with errors and malfunctions before the due date and there will be optimization problems. In short, cyberpunk 2077 would be an unforgettable game for me without its errors and glitches, but I think it was engraved in our minds with this faulty output.     Es un buen juego. Lamentablemente no se deja disfrutar debido a su estado técnico. Sin embargo hay cosas que sí molestan, como la simplificación de animaciones que le restan enorme calidad. Las animaciones eran aquello que te hacía sentir que habían puesto inmensa atención al detalle y eso ya no está.

    The game runs fine on a Geforce 1080 + Intel i7-6700, 3.4Ghz with the latest drivers and 1.04 patch. There are some glitches but nothing that is showstopping. To be fair, I have mostly been doing side missions and have not really been progressing on the main game.

    I might be missing something but I am really surprised by the amount of negative PC reviews.

    P.s. Как только на моем ПК с будет нормальный FPS и графика с присутствием теней и текстур, тогда сразу же изменю рецензию и поставлю игре заслуженную оценку. En Resumen: Me encanta el Vjuego, espero que sean como le hicieron en The Witcher 3 en darle mantenimiento desde que fue su lanzamiento y DLCs para que se vuelva GOTY porque tengo la confianza que lo pulirán y así será Cyberpunk 2077. Lo que más me agrado es que lo sacaran lo más pronto posible , estaba ansioso de jugarlo y me siento casi satisfecho, me falta terminarlo con esos tales diferentes finales que tanto dicen, la siguiente partida tratare de terminarlo sin matar a nadie jejeje, a ver si se puede. I enjoy the genre and spin up to gameplay. Nice graphics, maxed settings, full tilt excitement on each corner. Transitions follow through without a problem. A total of 3 times with stutter. As far as bugs some gun effects, falling through the map without reset and Jackie's bike flying around the map or suspended in one location has been the only problems I have experienced. Driving is superb in relation to joystick movement and feedback from the vehicles. The overall experience has been tremendous since start. I have no complaints as all games run into issues no matter the build version. Most would say this is intolerable, as a indie developer review this is a very professional and great product. Issues always arise. Home systems architecture, bandwidth, hard drive space, and configurations all contend on different levels when running. There is no "ONE IDEAL SYSTEM SETTING OR HARDWARE MATCH" that exist to appease everyone. Running great on PS4 setting can be lousy in PC, xBox or vice versa. A product you buy from Europe has different backend hardware compared to the U.S., or versions in every country for that matter. I run base settings for all my systems, tweak to find the prime spot for gameplay. ON PC, running the game with AMD hardware is not out of the box ready by any instance. What worked for fallout, didn't work for Cyberpunk, the list can go on and on. There is so many variables to building games that are not box ready. Again, very little faults on my systems. Primarily PS4 when playing, so I expect a few bugs and glitches with any new product. Overall a 8 for gameplay, style, graphics, and problems. Storyline is driven which gives it a bit of one mindedness but still a great story line for all three character lines. I look forward to some epic struggles along the way and many more missions at higher degree.

The story is pretty good so far, not as good as something like the Last of Us (Part 1), but I wasn't expecting something as great as that game's story. There are some bugs, but considering how the internet cyberbullied CDPR to release the game now, it's understandable. We are probably going to have a No Man's Sky situation where the game will slowly be patched into something amazing.

    The console launch was very controversial. In my opinion, it's the players fault for thinking an advanced game like this would run well on a 7-year old PS4.... but that doesn't mean I'm letting CDPR off of the hook for them hyping up the game on old consoles. They should have told us that the game wouldn't run well on the system. It's not CDPR's fault it doesn't run well, since there are many visual effects that must happen, but they should have said something. [Link omitted per site rules]

    If Cyberpunk 2077 isn't working on PC even after all of those fixes, I'd recommend buying the game on Stadia, it runs pretty well at a mix of medium and high settings, so I guess the tier list would be:

    High end PC > Stadia > Xbox Series X > Xbox Series S > Xbox One X > PS5 and PS4 Pro > PS4 > Xbox One and Xbox One S.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
