    Never had a videogame overwhelmed and exceeded the promises of even its most die-hard fans and critics. Because of this the title received one of the highest reviewed welcomes in the history of the videogame industry and has even until today managed to hold onto the "Greatest Game' title and good faith over 25 years later.

    Today Ocarina of Time seems both dated and simple in scale... and that is a good thing. The title essentially laid the entire blueprint for the game industry going forward and is the very DNA that every 3D game and open-world title today can trace itself back too. The fact that we have such beautiful games today and have managed to nearly perfect 3D gameplay and systems, means that Ocarina of Time succeeded in inspiring far more than simply perfect scores and glowing reviews in 1998.

    This title stands as an example of what trying something new and taking risks can achieve... and how to do so while not neglecting your audience, or what has always worked. For that this game continues to be beloved and continue to receive scores not based on how it compares to the best games of THIS decade; but to everything before it, and to anything that has ever tried to influence the medium as much as it ultimately did.

    Even now its old bones still continue to hold the attention of young newcomers curious as to what its hollowed code holds for them. Even as primitive as it may be now: it still has solid gameplay, some of the best dungeons in the franchise, haunting music, and an adventure truly worthy of the Hero of Time.    … Expand

    Muy buen juego, gráficos buenos para su época, aunque tiene unos problemas con la cámara y el enfoque a enemigos, aunque en el majoras mask se soluciona

    I'm mixed on this since some people say they hate it or loved it with the more being love it. I've never played it because Nintendo doesn't re-release it, people today hate it because they say it hasn't aged well.

Sinplemente o melhor jogo de todos os tempos, gráficos impecáveis pra época, não tenho palavras pra descrever o quão incrível é esse jogo, a trilha sonora, a história, sua inovação nos controles, enfim. A mecânica do link de viajar pro passado e para o futuro é incrível, a sensação de andar a cavalo por hyrule é super imersa, cada templo com seus puzzles inovadores até o water temple que mesmo sendo muito difícil e frustante,( passei algumas horas naquele templo ) continua sendo uma ótima experiência e posso dizer com firmeza que Ocarina of Time é e sempre será o melhor jogo de todos os tempos… Expand

    Es una experiencia sin igual que debes jugar antes de morir. Si nunca jugaste un Zelda te recomiendo fervientemente Ocarina of Time.

    This is my favorite Zelda game. I play through once or twice a year. I can't recommend a better game for a kid to get them interested in video games as a whole than Ocarina of Time.

    La historia está muy bien planteada, la narrativa es impecable, los escenarios son únicos, el arte visual es fantástico, los controles son intuitivos, la explicación de las mecánicas de juego son claras y se encargan de que el usuario entienda a la perfección lo que tiene que hacer antes de continuar, los enemigos son suficientemente molestos    ¡Uno de los mejores juegos que haya jugado!
    La historia está muy bien planteada, la narrativa es impecable, los escenarios son únicos, el arte visual es fantástico, los controles son intuitivos, la explicación de las mecánicas de juego son claras y se encargan de que el usuario entienda a la perfección lo que tiene que hacer antes de continuar, los enemigos son suficientemente molestos sin dejar de ser disfrutables, la música fue hecha con gran detalle explorando más de un género, instrumentos variados y arreglos meticulosamente creados.

    Ocarina of Time stands the test of time No pun intended because of it's captivating story, characters, and locations that'll make you say, "Hey, this is a fantastic game for it's time!" I 100% agree with people on those terms, but I think people oversight some issues the game has.

    Ocarina has a lot of great gameplay mechanics, and a lot of poor ones — It's best attribute is it's fast    Ocarina of Time stands the test of time No pun intended because of it's captivating story, characters, and locations that'll make you say, "Hey, this is a fantastic game for it's time!" I 100% agree with people on those terms, but I think people oversight some issues the game has.

    Ocarina has a lot of great gameplay mechanics, and a lot of poor ones — It's best attribute is it's fast movement, fluid controls, and unique ideas like the longshot, hookshot. But sometimes the jumping can be a messy situation. It manges to have a lot, a lot of replayability just so you can find all the heart pieces, golden skulls, and finish those side quests. But my biggest gripe with the game that holds me back from replaying is... The Water Temple. I know that's controversial, but it's entirely true. I have a hard time with some puzzle games, but this one stomped me at first. You have to continuously swap out between the metal boots and your kokiri boots which becomes tedious after awhile.

    I do understand why everyone loves this game, but sometimes the praise seems over deserved. I personally am astonished at all of the work, effort, and time that has went into Ocarina and especially the people that make ROM hacks, mods, and all that to show their dedication to this game and it's fandom.

    I hope the spark never dies out for Ocarina and it continues to live on as one of the greatest if not best game of all time.    … Expand

    The fact I can play this right now and still be blown away is all that needs to be said really. Back then this must have been absolutely revolutionary. Every aspect of this game is brilliant.

    todos sabemos que ocarina of time é o melhor jogo de todos os tempos ele é muito revolucionário e atemporal as mecânicas são incríveis além da música que uma das melhores trilha sonora de todos os tempos junto com seu sucessor majoras mask esse jogo é incrível e merece título de melhor jogo de todos os tempos

    Despite some qualities have aged, and I personally prefer breath of the Wild, it’s still a game everyone needs to play, the absolute bar of quality in my opinion

    Seguramente mi juego favorito. Un juego perfecto para mí en todo: un universo increíble, mapas y mazmorras alucinantes, banda sonora, historia y jugabilidad. Un antes y un después en la historia de los videojuegos.

    I see that some didn't like the game very much and that's why they think it's overrated, but I'm proof that it gets the grade it deserves, since it wasn't part of my childhood or anything like that. The game is amazing even for today as I played it after playing many modern games and had fun (Except for the water temple >:(. )

    The player will be drawn into the Zelda fantasy world from the moment the opening sequence bursts onto the screen, and the game won't let go-not even after finishing the quest.
