Beautifully drawn and animated, not to mention surprisingly involving, Revenge of the Sith should please any action gamer, Star Wars fan or not.
-
Most people will tell you to buy the DS version over the GBA version. I beg to differ. The GBA version is, in my opinion, fully equal to the DS version if not superior because you can play it on the big screen with the Game Boy Player, it has co-op multiplayer, it is cheaper, and, besides the space combat, it works the same as the DS version.
-
Not a ton of depth, and it's fairly short in single player, but as a whole it's a good addtion to your DS library.
-
Cheat Code CentralThe level designs are bland, as is the theme music which is recreated digitally with the passion and depth of a cell phone ring tone.
-
Hardly a "must own" game, but it's surprisingly good stuff considering it's based on a big-budget movie.
-
Revenge of the Sith may not go down as an all-time classic, but the innovative gameplay, excellent sound effects, and smooth graphics make it an enjoyable video game foray into the world of Star Wars.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyQuotation forthcoming. [July 2005]
-
Solid stuff all around, but we'd easily take the DS version if faced with the choice.
-
The game's biggest drawback is that it doesn't take much time to complete--perhaps two hours total for both characters.
-
Nintendo PowerThe best portable game in the franchise to date (it annihilates "LEGO Star Wars" for the GBA). Impressive. Most impressive. [July 2005, p.98]
-
The GBA just isn't made to support this much combat variety at the kind of pace Revenge of the Sith requires you to act.
-
Surprising in its quality, and fans should find this portable adventure to be the perfection companion to their Game Boy Advances as they sit in line waiting for the first showing's of the saga's epic conclusion.
-
The Game Boy can be a surprisingly capable platform, but Revenge of the Sith just isn't ambitious enough to become a master in its class.
