Nintendo PowerThough the inventory and menu systems need polishing, this RPG is a dream come true for Harry Potter fans. [July 2004, p.119]
-
While this RPG has some annoyances, its amusement factor is hard to deny. [July 2004, p.123]
-
While older teenagers may snub this Harry Potter outing, theres still good mileage in the bespectacled chappie for younger players.
-
An engrossing team-oriented, turn-based RPG.
-
The change to an RPG style of play has worked very well, and we've had a great time leveling up our teams.
-
Weekly Famitsu7 / 7 / 7 / 6 - 27 [Vol 811; 2 July 2004]
-
It's got a solid storyline based on the book and film, and dozens of quests that branch outwards from situations from the film...but the experience is hindered slightly, simply by sloppy implementation of standard gaming elements.
-
But since the majority of the time youre playing the game youll be slowly walking from point A to point B completing mandatory fetch quests, the games solid RPG foundation collapses under the weight of its own failed potential.
-
GMR MagazineIt's not very polished. [Aug 2004, p.93]
-
Prisoner of Azkabans faithfulness to the book, mesmerizing graphics, and captivating score are a treat for Potter fans.
-
A mediocre to below-average RPG, and doesnt hold many great moments.
